We wandered in not knowing what to expect and received a friendly welcome by the artist himself while making a candle. Each candle listed for sale is uniquely crafted by various artists that are employed there. Not one candle is the same. Annnnnddd each image candle glows when lit, so it's extremely unique : D. They are made from paraffin wax and sell individually for $29.99, you get a deal if 2 or more are purchased. The artist on site was very helpful and answered everyone's questions while making and selling candles. We stopped in to look at the amazing candles at Sedona Candle Gallery. Each candle is unique and colorful and the light each one puts out is so cool. The owner candlemaker was on site and showing patrons the light effect each candle emits and instructed visitors to place the candle up to the many spotlights on the walls. I Bought a lovely candle here over the summer. I've moved since then and lost the instructions on how to burn properly. I found their website and called them this evening. What an incredible and unique store!! The candles are all hand crafted and beautifully made, with a wide variety of different designs and color options. The artist working was making candles as I was there, and it was cool to watch the process. Additionally, the candles glow under lights they have displayed so you can see what they'll look like when lit. The bulk of candles cost $27 although when I was there, there was a 4 for $99 special that my mom and I indulged in. I found the pricing to be reasonable for how much work goes into the candles and the quality. Pandemic practices are good - the girl working was wearing a mask and there was a plastic/plexiglass barrier. The other customers wore masks when I was in there. This is not only a remarkable place to buy candles but they are incredibly helpful and educational in the process. The place is also great for kids as you can pick up a premade candle and apply it to the many light stations so you can see how they will glow at night. We cube here every time we go to Sedona not only to see what is new but who is when's and the stories they tell. read more

My husband and I stumbled upon this store while shopping in Tlaquepaque. I'm so glad we did!!! This is not your typical candle store. They hand-make each of the candle holders, each one is unique and special, with fun patterns and designs for everyone. Also, the candle holders can be saved forever - once the original candle inside burns, you can use tealights instead. I ended up buying one as a gift, and another for myself since I loved it so much. We got a beautiful Sedona sunset one, which was a wonderful souvenir as a keepsake to remember our lovely weekend trip to Sedona!!! read more

Why have I never seen this place before? Prolly coz I never walk on that side when in Sedona! But this store is awesome... I love candles and this stores takes candles to a new level! The make globelike candle that glows from within! It's hard to explain... You have to check it out for yourself! There's so many cool designs and pretty colors! And they are customizable but it would take a few hours to make. The big ones are $25 and the smaller ones are $18. Kinda pricey but worth it (luckily mine was a present!) There are some specific burning instructions but they will tell you that... And they are pretty much refillable... The girl that works there said she has had hers for about 4 years!! I used to live up north in Flagstaff and I came to Sedona on occasion. I was in town this past week and I stopped by and ran into one of their locations! I instantly fell in love with their candles, and I bought two, plus the LED lights as well! The guy who rung me up was awesome; he was from WA as well! I decided on two of the medium globes, and they are absolutely beautiful! They let you test what they would look like while burning by putting them underneath the lights in the store. I hope to be able to come back in the future, and I hope they keep on expanding!! read more

I made a point to visit this store when I was in Sedona last weekend since a coworker had mentioned it's pretty cool. Based on their website, I wasn't sure what the big deal was, but they quickly won me over. The two employees were actually making the candles in front of us while we browsed. The candle I picked out first for myself was actually hand made by the one employee the previous day (the ones they make that day need time to cool before you can take them home). I bought 5 candles (for myself and others) - the fifth one was free. They cost around $27-28 each, including tax, which isn't super cheap, but they're hand made, gorgeous, and come with instructions on how to properly burn them so you can later put tea lights or votives inside to reuse them. Did I mention THEY GLOW?? SWEET!!! They have little lights around the store that you can hold the candles under to see what they'll look like when lit. The only sad thing is I wish the candles were scented, but I'll put scented tea lights in them once I use them enough to hollow out the space. These are THE BEST SOUVENIRS you can get for yourself or anyone else since you can get ones with cacti, red rocks, and whatever other Sedona things you like - or they have simple, classic designs for a more timeless look. Definitely worth stopping in. read more

These are some of the coolest, most unique candles I've ever seen. And they are made on-site; you can watch the candle masters at work. Jenivieve was working when we were there this past weekend. This candle shop is AMAZING! It's full of one-of-a-kind handmade candles that are made right in the store. The staff actually hand dips, creates, and carves the candles in their shop while talking to customers and ringing people up-it's pretty amazing. They are super friendly and talented. So the candles...they are made to glow when you light them...I know this sounds weird, but it's awesome. The starting piece of the candle is this hallow, white paraffin ball that allows light to pass right through it easily. So when different waxes are dipped around the ball, light easily passes through the wax ball too. So many different designs are available. We bought one with a sunset beach scene-tons of beautiful colors that really look like the colors of a sunset with a darkened beach hut and palm trees. Awesome! There are tons of designs for every taste! If you are in town, you must check out this place! read more

I've purchased two candles from here, 3 years apart which is as often as I'm able to get to Sedona. I love it!!!! The candles are so neat, and so reasonably priced. My first was a super tall ocean themed candle with a turtle figurine on it and tons of shells and wax-made coral. Apparently they are very rare. What's even more amazing is they're handmade and they're always making different candles with different images, patterns and colors so you're bound to find something perfect and unique. I wish they had more tall ones when I had gone back the second time, but they only had round and some short cylindrical ones. They have a newer smaller location that I almost missed. read more

He kindly asked that I not take his picture - which I totally respect - but allowed us to watch the candle-making process and explained it to us. I visited here on June 16th, and had a custom candle made. I wasn't really in aww of the finished product but, i think it was mostly on my end. I don't think i really described what I was really wanting. However Travis is an exceptional artist and very patient. I would definitely go back, next time I'll know what I want. read more
