I received a call from a recruiter here over a month ago asking if I was still looking for work. I said I was, so I took some time off from my current job for an interview. After filling out the usual paperwork, our interview went well and she said she'd follow up with me on the status of the job. As they also needed a secondary form of ID, I emailed that as soon as I got home, to which she confirmed she got. Then... Nothing, weeks passed and I never heard back. While I get if the job was either no longer available or what have you, a follow up would've been nice, as well as offering to keep searching for roles for me. But get this, the other day their receptionist emails me out of nowhere saying they never got my second ID. Which, as I already stated above, I sent the day of my interview and got confirmation it was received. I didn't bother responding. Horribly flaky and disorganized, I regret wasting my time and money with this company. In reference to the response below...I was not "frustrated" with the process. As of this writing, I'm a federal employee, and the amount of paperwork and hoops you have to jump through for that made this company seem like a cakewalk. I'm pretty positive I checked out that list thoroughly and my recruiter said my CAC would be accepted as a second ID. Regardless, even if it wasn't, same thing: it's the lack of communication and response on their end that was not professional. But other people here seem to have had that same issue, too. read more

Unfortunately, the people I encountered at Sedona Staffing were unprofessional, rude and kind of stuck up. When they were not returning 2 calls and 3 emails I finally got ahold of my Sedona Rep Aubrey and she basically told me I was lying and she never got the messages. When I told her the names, dates and times of the calls she got upset that I showed her lying or the office is inept...I haven't heard back since. Today I called and was told "We only have entry-level jobs and that is probably why you haven't heard from us." I said "Okay, what do you have?" She answered "Nothing at this time" Don't waste your time filling out endless forms online and in person for an agency without openings. You'll be subject to pettiness and looked at like a problem rather than a solution. Note to Aubrey: you could have just said "oops I am real sorry about the mishap. Let's see what we have available." and this negative review would have never happened. read more

My initial phone call with them went well and they asked me to forward my resume. The person who I was supposed to follow up with was on vacation, but returning the following week. Since that time, I have called 4 times and left messages for Lauren, who has not responded. If you don't have a job that is a fit, at least use common courtesy to acknowledge a candidate who has repeatedly followed up with you. In reference to your response below .. Lauren was working there each time I called. With each call, I was told she was in a meeting and I was asked to leave a message. My resume was sent to Nicole Poindexter on 5/30/2018. If you're looking for work, you should check this place out. I was looking for a job on my own for a little while (about a month) and I kept coming up short. I finally reached out to this agency and went in to talk with them about my career goals. I told my recruiter (Lauren) what I was looking for and she told me she had a job in mind for me based off what I wanted and my experience. Ask for Lauren! She's very warm and professional. Going in and signing up took less then an hour, easy breezy, especially if you go in with your ids/etc. While I didn't get loads of interviews I believe it's because she's very selective about what jobs would be a good fit for you. My first interview was a bust (not her fault) but my 2nd interview I got offered the position. I start Monday. Recently new to the North County San Diego area, I researched numerous staffing agencies and found Sedona Staffing. I've worked with another staffing agency previously so I'm pretty familiar with the process. I found Sedona to be very professional as I was contacted rather quickly, had an interview, and was placed in an assignment. Once completed, I was able to start on another assignment without any gap in between. Excellent communication between staff and associates as I received phone calls and emails to confirm details of my assignments. My experience working with Karen Hanna was second to none. She was supportive through my entire process of temp to hire. I was able to maximize my pay rate with my potential employer, she provided documentation for employment so I could refinance my student loans (went above and beyond here!!) and after I moved on to obtain full-time employment, she noticed I wasn't paid appropriately a month prior and followed up to fix and provide additionally payment. I wish I could give Sedona more than 5 stars! I worked as a recruiter for a different staffing agency, and had my office been the positive atmosphere that Sedona maintains, I never would have left. From the very minute they contacted me regarding a job possibility, they have been nothing but helpful, friendly, and kind. They had me interview with a company that same day, and I was hired on spot. When the job turned out to be an ill fit, I contacted them and let them know what was going on. They were gracious, kind, and worked FAST to get me a better paying, more positive job in another field, more to my liking. They always reply quickly, have the sweetest hearts, and are a joy to work with. They put down all the typical negative staffing agency stereotypes. compared to other agencies this one seems to look for workers where it can, they found me multiple jobs and i picked two great companies, they gave me details regarding said companies and i chose one that suited my interest the staff seem very knowledgeable of the companies they recruit for. The receptionist Britnee is friendly she makes the wait go by quicker and is also very kind, she will help in anyway she can and makes funny jokes. I came to this temp agency coming out super positive that they were going to find me a job, the girl which was Nicole took down my information she asked me what I wanted and what I was looking for, fast forward I was super exited hoping she would find me something quick. Well she started emailing me and showing me jobs that i told her when I met with her that I didn't want and to top it off jobs that only pay $12 for a job that was having to do so much work. I just moved from north cal to south cal and was just very disappointed as I couldn't afford just $12 to live here, it's way more expensive here. I mentioned to her that was she was sending me wasn't something I wanted and she still kept sending me the same stuff after a while of me telling her no to each job she would offer which where only warehouse jobs which I didn't want at all she stopped responding to my emails and haven't heard from her for over a month already. So word of advice unless you want a warehouse job that pays $12 then this is your temp but if you don't, don't come and waste your time!!! read more

Very poor experience. Instead of guiding me toward employment, they were very evasive, "What kind of job are you looking for? What is the lowest pay you'll accept? Thank you, goodbye!" So one has to say, "wait a minute," and try to get info, while they shoo you to the door. They were very reluctant to provide any information on what positions they had available, what positions are currently in demand, etc.. It's the usual experience of dealing with a very young staffer at a temp agency who is polite but clueless on how to actually help the client get work. read more
