I registered at this place over a year ago. I filled out all their paperwork and was told to call the next day. I called and was told I was placed on a list and they would call me the next day to let me know about the opportunity. I was never called. Fast-forward to a week ago. I mistakenly go there because of a "job fair" as I saw on Craigslist. I go in the back office and speak with the same recruiter I spoke with over a year ago. Once again I was told about an opportunity and was told to call the next day. I called and once again was told I was placed on a list and they would call me the next day. Once again I never got that call. If you tell someone you are going to call you should show some courtesy and call. Don't waste your time registering at this place. I have never been employed by a staffing agency, but had my fair share amount of "interviews & appointments" with other agencies, and I must say, Hillary was true to her word. We all understand how agency's are and their "great customer service." Hillary takes her job seriously and will not push you away, will not reject your calls (PRIDESTAFF) and will make sure you are the right fit for the job. She is not just a recruiter to collect a paycheck, you can really see her passion for helping people and the organization meet their needs. I know many people that have been a temp employee for more than a year and it is not their fault. It is the staffing agency not doing their job. My take from my fair share of experiences with agencys is: - clearly explain what you want, and do not just take any job -work with a great & PASSIONATE recruiter (you can sense it from the first few minutes during the interview) -If there is not a position for you at the time, do not kick them away. First started with marquee in 2011 with Hillary as my recruiter. She put me to work as fast as the next day. It was a short term assignment with frequent call backs to work. I found work else where and marquee said I can call in available if I ever need too. I called in available in oct 2016 with hillary as my recruiter once again. I was looking for an agency I found Marquee called them up told them what I was looking for they scheduled an interview to meet with me I met with Yolanda. I had another interview that day but she had told me if it didn't work out to let her know and she has positions available for me so I let her know that my interview didn't work out and if she can get me started on the process with the other jobs she had mentioned to me. She said okay the next day she emails me and tells me that they canceled one of the positions I wanted and so I couldn't get that one anymore but then she said there's the other position which I was also okay with because they were really similar and she never replied to me and it's been over 2 weeks already. I just hate how this temp agencies sometimes like to waste your time while you're really in need of a job.
