It had snowed the night before and I was wondering what the parking lot would be like, and it was snow and ice free. The workers have each person use hand sanitizer going to and from the play area. The bathrooms and the party area were very clean. I like that you can purchase snacks on the premise too.

As a working mom, I knew that we found the right place when the teachers are just so excited to see your kids that it brings tears to my eyes every time I drop them off. We were at 2 other places in Clifton Park before this, and had behavioral issues with both of our kids (4 and 3). After we moved from the first center for behavior issues with my son, I thought for sure that the second school would fix the problem- but the authenticity just wasn't there. The teachers weren't in it for the kids- at MTA you can genuinely see how each teacher is excited to see your child- AND knows all the kids names. We love that there is a balance between learning and playing. There is some structure which both of my kids thrive on, but at the same time they have enough freedom to be KIDS which is important to us. They know that they go to chapel each day, that Fridays are gym days- and the crafts! Oh my, the crafts! I grew up doing tons of crafts. Then when I continued to work after having my kids, there was always an empty piece of my heart because they weren't doing crafts on a regular basis. Now, the projects they bring home are fantastic and the sparkle in their eyes when they tell me stories about what they did during the day just makes me know that they are in the right place. More on the behavior too- Every day is not always a good day at home if something is out of our routine, there wasn't enough time to transition, the eggs weren't cooked to the perfect texture- you get the picture- but as soon as we get to school, my son knows what his teacher expects and she makes it all better. I can't think of another human that I'd rather him be with, because he just comes home so excited to tell me about his day. He actually likes her so much that he calls me by her name sometimes- I know some people might get offended, but it actually makes me happy because I know that he loves it there so much. My daughter also has a nut allergy, which presented many issues in the past but MTA has been great about it and it is now a non- issue for us. The school recently moved locations (summer of 2018), and we started at the new location with the new playground that was just installed. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew they were loved, cared for, and treated like family. We were fortunate enough to experience both the original in-home daycare and the transition to the Parkside Kids center, and it was seamless. The same love, attention, and family atmosphere that made us feel at home from the very beginning only continued to grow. The peace of mind that comes from knowing your children are happy and safe each day is something every parent hopes for, and Parkside Kids gave us exactly that. Every teacher and caregiver has been incredible. They didn't just care for our children--they encouraged them, celebrated their milestones, and helped them grow into the amazing little girls they are today. Along the way, our girls made friendships and memories they'll carry with them for years to come. The facility is always impeccably clean, communication has consistently been excellent, and it's clear how much pride everyone takes in creating a warm, welcoming environment. It's no surprise that whenever someone asks for a daycare recommendation, Parkside Kids is always my answer. It is clear Steph and Parkside's wonderful teachers love what they do, and our toddler son felt right at home from our very first day at the center. Steph's years of experience operating an in home center have seamlessly scaled to a larger daycare center setting while maintaining high standards and a close knit family feel. We have been less than impressed by other daycares in the area but have always felt comfortable and confident leaving our son in Parkside's very capable hands. In addition to the wonderful owner/director and staff, the indoor and outdoor play areas are clean and appropriately stimulating for young children. There is so much space and variety for children to explore, play, and burn energy, which is a huge plus for our active little one. I always have to drag my son out of Parkside at pick up time because he just loves playing with the excavators and rocks outside! The extreme cleanliness of the facility, nutritious and included meals, convenient hours of operation, frequent updates and pictures via the Brightwheel app, and reasonable rates are other things we appreciate. Our family highly recommends Parkside Kids!
