I am glad you asked. True Value of Pine Bush sells wood pellets by the ton. In August, Alan will start making a list of how many tons you wish to buy, take a deposit and let you know when they can be delivered. He does not make a whole lot of money off the pellets, so why does he do it? He has told me that some of his customers have been buying from him for years and depend on him. He could easily just not have pellets because they are heavy, a pain to store, and take up space but his customer's need them. I happen to be one of those customers. Because of those wood pellets, whenever I need something, my first stop is True Value. If you are starting a business or already have one, stop by True Value of Pine Bush. Walk around a bit. Count how many times you get asked if you need any help. Count how many times you get a nod and a friendly "Hello". Alan's staff not only knows where every product in their store is, they know what they are talking about. I am glad to have a store like True Value in my hometown that also happens to be a shining example on how Customer Service is done right.

I needed a job done and had three actual electricians come out to provide estimates. While the true…read moreprofessionals were at my house, I requested they look at the breaker that Ray and Randy were so offended that I questioned. All three looked at and confirmed during their individual estimates that the breaker that Randy put in was incorrect and NEVER should have been left that way. The breaker wasn't completely set and was causing intermittent issues. The breaker was to a Sump Pump room in the basement and never would have been noticed had real professionals not taken a look at it. It is clear the breaker didn't fit. Randy tried to wedge it in and almost caused damage to both my panel and worse, my home should I have needed the pump to work. I tried to remedy this with Ray, the owner, who sent me a scathing - I am a rock star, google me, I'm out touring with bands do you know who these bands are because I'm important and if the guy I sent to do a job says it's done right - it is. When in reality, his guys mistake almost cost me a lot. Thankfully, one electrician swapped out the breaker at no cost as he was ashamed someone in the business would leave it like that. A swap that Randy told me would be 350 if he had to come back.

DO NOT hire this company or anyone they are affiliated with North American movers to move your home…read more. They promised me that someone would call the day before the move to let me know what time they plan to arrive. That never happened. Dave the snake oil salesman promised me that they would disassemble my furniture no problem because they hire expert furniture people to disassemble & reassemble furniture. However, after all my furniture was removed from my home, they told me I would need to pay an additional $420 to have my armoire reassembled in my new home. My contract states that the move would take between 3 - 7 days. On day 8, not only did I not receive my furniture & belongings, but it was Saturday and the offices are closed and I have no one to talk to or get answers from. I called & texted Dave but he never returned any of my calls or messages. I spoke with someone at First Class movers who were hired to unload the truck at my new home, and they said they would look into it, but they too never called back. If this is the way North American & Arnoff treats their customers, I would think twice about hiring them to do a move. I wish I knew sooner, but I thought with 100 years in the moving business they would be a reputable company to do business with, boy was I wrong.
