I guess it's clear this isn't a "card shop," it's a scalpers storefront. Don't go here looking for Lorcana--guessing the margins are too low. Except for their singles, which they sell for $2-4....crazy pricing for Lorcana. Anyways, i won't be back. Will have to continue my search for a card shop that's ethical and somewhat reasonable. --------- Edit in response to business reply: 1) i agree conversation could go a long way. But when your pricing on a brand new Pokémon set (which doesn't have a set market yet) is already 3x MSRP, what productive conversation can happen? It's just a straight up gouge. I'm not naive to expect to get everything at MSRP, but i think 3x markup 2 days post launch is unreasonable. 2) i did ask about Lorcana. I was told you "don't carry much" and "didn't have any right now." 3) you seem to be implying that you're aware prices are high and can then be negotiated lower. If that's how you want to do it that's your prerogative, just understand that's offputting for new customers. It's hard to want to establish a relationship and have a conversation when the first impression is being taken advantage of. And when your response to pricing questions is "well the hobby is thriving!" I don't think that's off base.

The staff will look up books to buy new for 20% off, too, if they are still in publication. The gentleman behind the desk showed us some special editions of some books. Although we could not buy them, it was really interesting to see. Good selection and genres are well marked so you will be able to find science or science fiction books.

He's complimented the staff and remarked that they are very knowledgeable, especially with Warhammer Fantasy. They're always willing to help (but not overbearing, as has been the case with other Games Workshop locations). There are several tables with a variety of amazingly detailed scenery set up and ready to play on, and there always seem to be games going on. But even so, him and his friends have never had a problem finding an open table. They've also been a fan of the other regulars, and we tend to see a couple familiar faces each time we stop in. This location not only goes the extra mile to plan and host special tournaments, but also painting seminars to spark interest and help those who are newer to the game. The store usually has a lot of expert painters that have been more than helpful and friendly. He says he's gotten some good ideas from them.

About a month ago the second system I bought was a PS2 and had previous repairs that were not disclosed to me upon my purchase of the PS2. While i understand I bought a used system i should be made aware of repairs or fixes made that have been done with the system that im purchasing and should not be paying the same price of a system in good working order without repairs. Me being me I let that go but over this past weekend I also went back and bought 2 games from this store only to discover that one case was missing the disc. I understand that mistakes can happen, but undisclosed repairs and selling an empty game case shows a serious lack of quality control and lack or care to your customer. Customers should be able to trust that used systems and games have been properly inspected, that repairs are disclosed, and that games actually include the disc. With my experiences in mind I would not recommend this store unless you want to take the risk or they improve their inspection process and disclosing repairs on theirs systems. I will say the employee that was working when I came to replace the missing disc did his best to mend the situation of the missing disc but I'm highly disappointed with the quality of systems and games ive purchased from this store be weary of what you purchase from these guys

This is also a good place to look for some lightly used board games and refresh yourself on new editions or different variations of these games that might be as obvious when shopping elsewhere. The checkout process is fairly quick and friendly as well and there's plenty of parking right outside the store. Just be careful of the traffic pattern in the shopping center, particularly around the Asian grocery store as people tend to drive a bit fast within the lot.
