DO NOT BUY A CORVETTE AT SEGUIN CHEVROLET I've bought over a dozen high-end cars from Ferrari and Porsche and multiple Corvettes from Seguin Chevrolet. Samantha was always great to work with -- professional and honest. Unfortunately, things went downhill when General Manager Jeremy Sims took over my recent Corvette ZR1 order. After a year of working on my ZR1 build, Jeremy placed my order in the GM system, and it was officially accepted (Status 3000). Then, after the fact, he tried to add a massive ADM markup, knowing I was financially capable and committed to the build. That's textbook bait-and-switch and violates GM policy. Worse, he changed my Museum Delivery option (RBC) back to Seguin Chevrolet without my consent so he could resell my ordered ZR1 to another buyer at a higher price. Completely unethical. There's a reason GM gives few allocations to small dealers like Seguin -- they don't know how to handle high-end transactions with integrity. Jeremy Sims was deceptive and dishonest, and Seguin Chevrolet has lost my business and referrals for good. GM corporate is aware, and I hope they take action to protect the Corvette brand. read more

When we bought a vehicle they told us we had a package to get oil changes etc which we agreed to they wanted us to buy the GAP insurance we told them no and they kept trying to persuade us even looking and acting annoyed but we didn't care because WE SPECIFICALLY SAID WE DID NOT WANT IT. They finally accepted no we did the paperwork and left. When we went back to get the oil change, we were charged because come to find out they removed the package and STILL added the GAP insurance instead. When I called to complain they made it seem like I was the one that didn't know what I was talking about or lying because I told them they do get incentives for selling it their customers that. They refuse to give me a full refund. I will never shop here or refer someone again. read more

When I got to the dealership they evaluated the vehicle and told me I have mis-represented the vehicle in that it DID NOT have the features Edmunds said it had. If I could give them zero stars I would. Do not buy a used car from them. I have had problems since the first week it was purchased. I have a car now that I can't safely drive that when I brought it back within return time the told me I had to take it to the manufacturer. The manufacturer once the appointment time came up then explained to me that it would void my warranty bringing it to them instead of the dealership I bought it from. By this time I was out of the return window. I then continued to take it to the service department and have had it sent off 3 times with the problems still remaining after "repairs." When attempting to take it for the fourth time after only having my car less than half the time since I purchased it, they have no solutions for me besides treating it like every other trade in. They explain they're being so helpful and yet looking at the paperwork they have shown that I would be eating around $8,000 to get into another car to rectify their mistake in selling me a defective vehicle. They have not made an actual effort on their end to rectify what they did in selling me a defective car. 100% I beg you do not buy from them or you will be sorry as I was. I needed a vehicle to get to my 4 jobs and now am stuck with a vehicle that has safety concerns while driving and am in the hole with no solutions that don't involve me having to take on more debts. When I mentioned I would need to have a lawyer go over my contract for the vehicle they were trying to place me in for an extra $10,000 to make sure they weren't screwing me (which turns out they were) they said they could no longer help me if I asked a lawyer to go over the paperwork just to be safe. i got an online quote for a new truck from Seguin Chevrolet for 35k. If I wanted zero interest loan then the price was 39k.They said they would give me 9k trade in on my 22' dodge hemi pickup. I went to the dealer the next day to buy the truck, The salesman took my keys to my truck. then offered 2k trade in instead of 9k.. Then he jacked the price up to 41k or 46k if I wanted zero interest. FALSE advertising. Raising the price of a truck for zero interest is not really zero interest. Its prepaid interest. from start to finish when trading in my wife's RAV4 for a used tahoe Z71 was bad. after test driving the tahoe, we sat down to talk numbers. I told them we would talk trade in first, then we would talk about our the door price on the new truck. our salesmen and his manager (Jorge and Ro) kept trying to talk about everything all at once, so I reminded them we would be talking about trades, then the value of the new vehicle and eventually they got the picture. then they offered 20% under KBB trade in value on her rav 4, (I get it dealers need to make money but damn) then when we threatened to leave they offered the low end of KBB for her essentially brand new car. we finally got to a reasonable price. we then began to negotiate for the new vehicle and here's where the real issues began. 1) they asked my wife first what she did. she told them she's a stay at home mom, and Jorge talked about how she "watches other kids right" we thought he was joking and moved on. Turns out Jorge and Ro thought that means They can make up a business name, and say she makes $3000/ month. 2) then he asked me what I did and how much I made. i told him i make around $7000 after taxes per month And the exact start date for my job. He then added 7-8 months to that date to my loan application. 3) then, behind our backs they made up that we lived with relatives (we don't) for different amounts of time (2 years 4 months for me and 2 years 1 month for her) even though we told them we've lived at this address for 1 year 7 months. They never asked how much our mortgage is and put $0/ month in the application. keep in mind these 2 did this on their own I'm assuming to ensure we secured the loan. 4) we then began to discuss the fact the rear tires were damn near bald. Ro stated that all their vehicles go through Inspection and they were fine. I took him out to the truck and told them they need to fire the tech if that was fine. As this is my wife and 17 month old who will be primarily in the vehicle, tires are a big deal for me. So we began to discuss them putting 4 tires (the fronts weren't much better) at the cost of the dealership. the "best they could do" was "discount" the 2 rear tires for $1,000. When I said I could get all 4 for 1200 they acted like It was unbelievable and impossible. 5) we then began to negotiate the price of the vehicle. I told him I don't care about the monthly cost and we would discuss the out the door number. And several times Ro came back talking about monthly payments. I get it, they can usually take advantage of people and get a higher price for lower monthy cost, but I told him I didn't care He seemed mad I wouldn't let him take advantage of me and eventually we settled on a price. We get to the finance office and brian starts talking about extended warranty. We immediately told him he can save it we won't be purchasing it, but he keeps insisting we get it for the rest of the time we were signing paperwork. he tells us our credit scores (839 for me and 730 for my wife) and that our interest rate is 8.74%. I know they mark it up and we had already planed on getting it refinanced through our bank. He then just lies and says "GM financial won't let you for 90 days" (I got it refinanced the following Monday for 6.75%) A few days later we look through the paperwork and notice all the BS they put on the loan application so I call Brian and he basically tells me we wouldn't have gotten approved if they didn't do all that, and we'd have to re apply And "see if we get approved" The only thing I will say was good about this experience was the owner Jeremy sims emailed me asking why I left a bad google review and seems like he is going to be looking into the situation. overall just some sleezebags trying to take advantage of people To line their pockets. My wife and I went in there knowing what we could afford to pay, however the next family may not be as well off, and them fraudulently filling out their loan applications so GM financial doesn't see their real debt to income ratios may get them in a world of trouble. We had our vehicle taken there twice in the past two years and both times they kept it for over 4 months for a simple repair with a slew of excuses as to what took so long -- labor not available, parts delivery delayed, waiting on insurance claim etc etc. And with no courtesy rental available. In April 2025 I bought my new Suburban from Seguin Chevrolet. I live in Austin, but the 45 minute ride down the 130 toll road is justified by how "Texas friendly" everybody at the dealership is. Maybe it's because it's in a small town where being nice comes naturally. And it's still family owned---Nancy Harper and her sons T and Will are usually there. I have never bought a new vehicle off the lot. I "build" exactly what I want...Color, accessories, etc...and it's ordered and arrives in 8-12 weeks. Sales manager Adam Wiatrek patiently spent 2 hours in front of his computer until he was able to get everything I wanted, and nothing I did not want, into my final order. The credit for the trade of my previous Suburban was fair, as was the final cost. My salesperson was Ms. Sam Hood. Amazing. Truly understands what "customer service" really means. Her cell is (830) 203-8616. Again, I came from Austin. The dealership is even closer to San Antonio, San Marcos and New Braunfels. An added benefit: Barbecue. Lockhart is on 130 and has more barbecue joints than people, and a few miles from the dealership is Burnt Bean Company which TEXAS MONTHLY says is one of the very best in the state. I purchased a Chevy Colorado 2023 last year sometime and I put about 16,000 down for that vehicle and my sales person said yeah all that other accessories you can buy later on and when I come to see about those accessories after a few months of me owning the truck up and completely ghost me and when I ask him, you know I have his phone number what's the deal and he says he'll get back to me and never will so I don't know where I can get some aftermarket parts for this vehicle. I bought my car in May 22. The first person I had contact with and who I thought I'd be working with, passed me off to someone else. My first finance manager was let go, while I don't know the official reason, I can definitely guess what it was. My second one, when I asked for maybe the second or third time about the vehicle protection plan that was included in my contract, said my salesperson would get back to me and that was over a month ago. My truck purged its oil 200 miles after an oil change. They hadn't torqued the oil filter properly. The next oil change there was free, but they failed to fill the engine with the correct amount of oil. It was four quarts low and not registering on the dipstick. They refilled the oil, rotated my tires and sent me home. After arriving home, I inspected the tires for proper inflation and noticed a missing lug nut on the right front wheel. This service department is inept, to say the least. I highly recommend having your vehicle serviced elsewhere! read more

If I was able to give it 0 stars I would. My brother and I took his 2023 silverado 1500 in to trade it in with 27,000 miles on it. They only wanted to give him 30,000 on the trade in. The sales people will sit there and play games with you all day trying to convince you it's a good number and that's all they can do. On the way out we were told by the manager that technicians will lie about leaks and other damages done to the vehicle to get out of warranty work. In the managers words he said "Technicians here will claim that any leaks were caused by hitting something, because they don't want to do any warranty work". I understand that warranty work doesn't pay worth a damn. All I can say is stay away from this dealership. They will lie and cheat as much as they can to screw you over. From sales people to the managers to the technicians working here, they are all dishonest crooks. First, they bent over backward (requiring substantial paperwork, time, and effort) to get me a loner vehicle, even though I'd neglected to request one when I scheduled service. Also, although they are uncommonly gallant in always rushing to open the door for me when I enter the dealership, last Monday, when one of the salespersons saw my disabled husband struggling to get out of our car, he literally ran out to offer my husband a hand. We recently bought a used car from Seguin Chevrolet. They were very quick to sell the car, only letting us drive it around the block. Less than 5 miles from dealership the tire sensor light came on, we pulled over to the nearest gas station to check the tire pressure, everything was fine. Called the dealership and they told us to bring it back in the next day. Let me add, we live over 30 miles from the dealership. Took the car in the next day. It should have been a quick fix but they asked to keep the car to make sure everything was ok. 2 weeks later they still have the car and no updates to give us. They sent the car to a Nissan dealership but wouldn't tell us why. The Nissan dealership didn't even know why the car was brought there. The car was sent back to our dealership with nothing fixed. We would call and would never get through or would be told that we would be called back and never get the call back. Another excuse was the person was off that day, he seemed to be off quite often. They had the car for over a month, and when they finally told us what was being done to the car, none of it made sense. They had to replace multiple parts on the front right side, but why? We didn't find out until after we got the car back and they gave us the itemized bill. They wrecked OUR car when they were testing driving it. They NEVER told us this and still haven't told us this. It was in the fine print and thankfully we read the fine print. Yes they fixed our car and replaced it all for free but the fact of the matter is that they wrecked our car and never told us. Now that has to go on the car facts and we didn't even do it. They never apologized for what they did or even admit they did anything. They tried hiding the fact that they wrecked OUR car!! After some very unpleasant and unprofessional experiences from another local Chevrolet dealership, I have been searching for another place to take my car. So I decided to give Seguin Chevrolet a try. I went online, scheduled my appointment, hopped in my Camaro, and away I went. After a 10 minute drive from New Braunfels, I arrived and pulled up to the service drive. This dealership is isolated on I-10 with not many things around it. It looks a little smaller than your typical dealership, so I had high hopes from this place. I walked in and was greeted by a busy, but friendly service advisor named Chuck. After a brief wait, an enthusiastic Chuck inquired as to what I needed today, to which I informed him an oil change and a state inspection on my agenda. Armed with a clipboard and a pen, Chuck was ready for action. Off to my Camaro to where we took the typical vehicle vital signs - mileage, vin number, license plate, etc. After gathering the essential information we walked back to the service department to where Chuck confirmed my address and phone number. Chuck asked if I was waiting, or leaving, to which I said I would be waiting. Chuck said he had an eager team just waiting for my car, and showed me to the waiting area. I was not quoted a time frame, but from previous experiences, I expected about an hour to an hour and a half. The lobby was quite busy today with no seating, so I had to find a seat at a table near some cars on the showroom floor. No big deal, being a car guy, I always love getting up close with cars, so I was in good company. Looking around, the staff were very casually dressed, with salesmen waiting to make a sale. I was digging the relaxed environment and all of the smiling faces. I was, however, turned off by the loud tejano music blaring from a wireless speaker on the showroom floor. No offense, as I generally have a diverse taste in music, and had I been able to understand the music, I'm sure the tunes were very catchy. I'm just saying, I'm here for an oil change. Not at a club, or here for a quinceañera. I was thinking I could drown the music with my AirPods, but that was not happening. Luckily, I glanced over to the main lobby and a lot of the chairs had cleared out. After about 5 minutes, I was able to find another seat away from the loud music. Thank goodness. But now, I'm hungry for some chips and salsa! I grabbed another seat, and glanced into the service bay. Chuck obviously was not joking when he said they were ready. My baby was jacked up in the air on the lift, and service technicians under her checking out her undercarriage. Very impressive. Now, time to sit and write the proper Yelp review. I gave my baby an occasional glance on the lift getting pampered. About 40 minutes later, I glanced at the lift and my baby was down and away. This is shaping up to be a great service experience. So I went looking for Chuck so I can pay and leave. After looking for Chuck, I could not find him. I saw my paperwork sitting on his computer, but Chuck was no where to be found. Maybe the music had him hankering for chips and salsa too since it was close to lunch time. No big deal. So, I grabbed another service writer and told her I saw my car and I was ready to get in it and vamoose. She grabbed my paperwork and keys, and ushered me to the cashier. I paid the friendly lady behind the glass for services rendered, got into my car, and vanished like a thief in the night. I was very impressed, and will in fact return here for future service. Never again will I return to the other unnamed Chevy dealer in New Braunfels. Seguin Chevy is my new place my baby will get serviced. I highly recommend Seguin Chevy for service. Furthermore, if you want an excellent experience, ask for Chuck. I wanted to commend Chuck on the great job, but I did not see him again. Hopefully he sees this review. This easily would have been a 5 star visit. One star was deducted for the loud, obnoxious music. I can deal with music, but maybe next time they lower the volume so I can put in my AirPods and drown it out. Enjoy! read more

4 stars for really great communication, transparency, and dedication to resolve issues. Minus two stars for safety protocols during a pandemic. I had a great experience shopping with Sam Hood. She was quick to respond and did an amazing job talking me through things. Jeremy Sims also worked with me and talked me through numbers. I ultimately didn't buy here even though they tried to find me the new vehicle I was looking for, but the staff were great. While searching for my mom's new ride, I called most of the Chevy dealers all the way between San Antonio and Waco. I found a Equinox that fit my mom's budget and color preference on Chevy's website and called Seguin Chevy. The chap (can't remember his name) seemed friendly enough checking to see if they still had the vehicle. It was in stock, and quoted me the price less TT&L. I was astonished that his price was more than Chevrolet's actual website said the SUV was worth. Found a used car they were offering and went there to test with the intentions to buy if the car was fine. We were greeted upon our arrival and only had to wait long enough to grab some complimentary coffee before walking out to the vehicle with our salesman Alex. We looked over the car as he retrieved the keys and some dealer tags so we could test drive it. While on the test drive we noticed a couple things, 1 esthetic, 1 safety and the final was the factory stereo. Now being a used car, I wasn't expecting perfection but it was at a dealer being sold at retail price and it was only 2 years old. Here's where the experience went south. We brought our finding to their attention and they "acted" concerned but when I inquired about either fixing or possibly dropping the price accordingly, the "Appearance Protection Plan" was brought up for $1900. When I asked what that included, the first item mentioned was window tint, but this being a used car, it already had tint! Bottom line is, this dealership was not willing to bargain, wanted to tack on a $1900 BS cost and claimed they were already losing $$ at its current been on the lot for over 120 days price.
