Would highly recommend, customer service is top notch and blows every other auto body/service/dealer out of the water. Owner (Ernest) is personally involved with each and every car, and is working hand in hand with the team to ensure work is always done at a high level. The guys work late (midnight) and go out of their way, even driving 2+ hours to pick up parts on a weekend in order to avoid delay. You'd be hard pressed to find any sort of customer service like this, much less when dealing with repair shops. Made an appointment with another company (that had zero customer service when I walked thru the door) and found out they had no record of my appointment and I could leave car. I drove my Mendoza's and found a gem here in my new small town. Not only did they fix my car for a 1/2 of what the dealer was going to charge they got the parts and repairs done SAME DAY! horrible service i brought my car there to fix my transmission line. we figured out what part it was, they ordered it online and everyday we called it was either on its way ,it hasnt came in yet just the run around i went yesterday to get the tracking number for the part and now that im there hes telling me the order was cancelled and didnt go through they have been lying about ordering the part no communication!!!!! what so ever and every time i called it was with attitude or he dont deal with that stuff like what? and thats not even the worse part when we was there my mother asked to get the information on the part we needed so we can order it ourselves and he rudly told her and said no hes not going to do that then cussed at us to get the f***k out and had also said in his words "i promise your going to get out my shop" and said to his other employee "la sacas o los saco" like threatening to literally remove us himself out of his shop because we asked him for the tracking number and the name of the part.and yes the cops were called and he immediately started being nice and telling us the part name and giving me my money back please if you need help badly with your car and need professional help take it somewhere else save your time and money please. hate to leave a bad review but ive never had such horrible services with someone like this very unprofessional.!!! read more

Great service...I took my car in because the bumper was damaged. A lady on a social media group referred me to this place. The owner is great and I could tell he was all about helping the customer out. My car was held up due to bumper issue(not their fault!) So it was held up a little longer than anticipated, but they kept me in the loop and my car looks great! Highly recommend! They care about their customers and they go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. I think it was worth the wait to get my car back looking like new. read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone. The evening of August 9th 2023 my car started overheating so I pulled right into the gas station I was by and turned the car off. I bought a container of antifreeze and filled up my reservoir and my husband said we need to take my car to an auto shop because he felt something was wrong with my car. We waited until my car cooled down a little while and found the nearest auto shop to where we were that was open. So we drove the car to Mendoza auto repair in Seguin. My husband spoke with Ernesto and he said that it Could be the head gasket and if that is the case it would cost us around $6000 if we paid by card or if we paid by cash he could give us a deal and only charge us $3800. We agreed with the cash price and we put down a deposit of a $1000 and he said the car would be ready in about 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we went and picked up the car they already had it running for us and we drove it home turned the key off less than an hour later tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. We called Ernesto right away and he came out and looked at it and said it could be something with the fuse box and he would order one. After about a week we had the car towed back to his shop and it was there for 5 months and he could never get the car started again. He kept telling us these stories that he's waiting for this part and that part and his mechanic is sick. To make a long story short, He had the car for 5 months and it still doesn't run and we are now out over $4,000 because we had to buy a new battery that his shop worn down, a new oil dip stick that they broke, and several screws and bolts that were missing when we received the car back. And that is another thing when they towed the car back to my house there was no oil in it, no antifreeze in it, the serpentine belt was not put back on there were several bolts missing, thermostat housing bolt, motor mount bolts, antifreeze overflow housing bolts, the cover for my fuse box. The crank shaft pulley bolt is broken and spins freely. My passenger wheel well liner is missing. He also doesn't answer text messages or phone calls so we have to go to the shop if we want to talk to him. A very incompetent shop in all aspects. Too bad I can't give negative stars because I would, about 10 of them because we were screwed royally. He also have been asking for an itemized bill for 2 months that he refuses to give us. Our family of 10 traveling from Dallas to Corpus Christi when our truck started leaking transmission oil quick, we pulled over and called a few places explaining we were headed to corpus and needed to get it fixed, but no one could get us in till Monday, then we called Mendoza and the owner without hesitation said bring it here I'll take care of you. Being a busy Saturday, they had us fixed up within 1 1/2 hour and even kept our family entertained and out of the heat. They sure talk a good game... I seriously hope their paint and body work is better than their mechanic work. Had my motor rebuilt there... ended up with more problems with it after than I ever did before. Exhaust leaks, oil leaks, knock sensors going bad... multiple times. Took back to them several times. Still had the oil leak and engine light on. Finally gave up, took it to another repair shop to find out that I had more than one stripped valve cover bolts and the gasket was nearly blown out in that area. I had to get my transmission Mount replaced yesterday and I thought I was going to have to pay out the ass bc I didn't know what was actually wrong with my car and sometimes car shops prey on people like that but either way I called in, not only did they tell me to come in shortly after, but they showed me exactly what was wrong with my car, they tried to call in my part but it wasn't available but they still found a shop with it for me. I picked it up brought it back in and Mendoza didn't even take an hour before he fixed my car. I'm so glad I found this place if I weren't moving myself I would continue to go here as long as they're operating. Their prices are fair, the work is more than exceptional and my car is running better than it was before I brought it in. It was quick too! After reading all these reviews, I'm beginning to believe that they all come from friends or from employees. After being involved in a wreck in April of last year my insurance company asked me where I wanted to take my vehicle for repairs. I said the name of the only place I knew of in town. My insurance adjuster recommended Mendoza's, stating that he sends a lot of business to them and that they were good. After what i experienced, i firmly believe that the adjuster and Mendoza are scamming people and their insurance. They quoted my insurance a little over 7k to fix my 2013 Murano since my adjuster did not total the car even with airbag deployment. They hemhawed around and had my car for a total of 93 days. I finally got it back after I began threatening them with a lawsuit. On the day that I was supposed to get it back, the side airbag mysteriously deployed when the owner got in to test drive it. So what does he do? He called my insurance and filed yet another claim for that which total another $7000!!! So, after 93 days and over $14,000 paid out from my insurance to him, I finally got it back. AND I HAVE HAD THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON EVER SINCE. It is throwing a code for a HO2S sensor. I brought it up to him on the day I got the car from him and was told that they replaced everything with new parts and that it should go off. I has not. Numerous calls and texts to the insurance adjuster went completely ignored. I chalked it up "live and learn" and just dropped it. UNTIL TODAY. My husband went to look at my headlights because it looked like there was something covering the top of the light. There was a distinct line that could be seen from where the light shown and where there was no light at all. When he pulled the light out, we found that there were TWO OLD, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BRAND BULBS IN THE LIGHTS!! One bulb was actually from Germany!! Every item that was quoted to my insurance company was brand new, never used products. So, between Mendoza and the insurance adjuster, they made bank off my insurance. I will NEVER use or recommend this shady place to anyone ever. read more
