Pros- -massage table was comfortable - the place was easy to find. I chose to park on a side street and walk a block because I wasn't sure about parking -people were nice Cons - my room was fairly well lit. Didn't help with feeling relaxed -my masseuse didn't turn music on until about 6-7 mins in. So up till then all I could hear was outside the door and my masseuse's breathing. Ugh! -the music was light jazz which would have been perfect for a cocktail party. There was no spa music which usually gives me that "zen" feeling -what my masseuse did on one side of my back, she did NOT do to the other. She favored my left side for some reason -I kept feeling a pulling on the sheets and I wasn't sure what that was. She kept stopping and doing something to the sheets -her strokes were not smooth and uninterrupted....they were choppy -she did not guide my body into the places they ought to be. Most masseuses gently place your head, leg, arms where they ought to be and promptly cover what is not needed for warmth. -she was texting while giving me the massage. Ugh! THE BIG CON---she LEFT midway through my massage to check if her keys were in her car. Again, I've had massages all over the globe and never have I been left in the room. She didn't even add on time for the time she was gone! I almost walked out Usually with massages, I'm in a completely relaxed state and drift between asleep and awake. With this one, I left fully alert and anxious for it to be done. I felt like I needed to go to the spa afterwards :-(

The individual booths are private. The massage itself is based on Eastern reflexology so it is different than a standard Swedish massage you may find elsewhere, but the technique still left me feeling relaxed and my back pain lessened after a 60 min massage. I'd like to go back soon to try out their foot massage as well. Edited to add that their prices have changed since past reviews. I paid $60 for the 60 minute back massage and there is 8% tax if you pay with card, but that's still a great price for an hour massage in this area.

I saw her this past weekend for a 90 minute lavender sugar scrub massage, which was as relaxing as it sounds. I actually drifted off during it. I've only experienced exceptional and extremely professional therapy with Laura during my patronage of Full Circle. Prior to having a microdiskectomy of my lower lumbar region (L4-L5-S1) status post herniated disks, I sought any relief possible for the severe and chronic pain(s) that I would experience daily of my lower back and affiliated sciatic pains down my right leg. Accupuncture, physical therapy, medications, electric stimulation/dopplar, etc., paled in comparison to the relief that a licensed, well rounded and experienced LMT could render in the form of deep tissue massage therapy and the loosening up of the muscles that were inflamed and nerves that were impinged. Even after the surgery, my body still remembers the type of nerve pain that only massage therapy could ever really keep at bay, for me. Over the course of the last decade i've moved or vacationed somewhere with a massage/spa and experienced numerous different LMT's that do good work, however, for the last four of these years I've only taken my business and my back and body to Laura at Full Circle. I clicked "$$" because in comparison to the chain stores that shall remain nameless, that offer massage services like a menu at McDonald's, Full Circle is a little bit more expensive. However, as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for," and what I've always consistently received from Full Circle was a piece of mind and comfort that my back and body will be righted.
