Update: This company has an "F" rating with the Colorado BBB. I have two primary complaints regarding Select Laundry: 1) After 4 washes, just days after installation, the washer flooded the entire foyer and laundry room of my apartment, and seeped into the apartment below, because the drainpipe was not secured properly into the drain stack (no tape or zip cord or anything). This is not consistent with professional business practices in the industry. 2) Just days after installation and a handful of loads, it has come to my attention the dryer has to be run twice for the clothes to be entirely dry. They are still damp after one cycle, even on the highest settings. I would have expected the machines to be thoroughly inspected and repaired prior to installation. Again, they failed to meet the reasonable expectations of the industry. 3) I emailed their customer service five days ago, and they still have not responded. read more

I will keep my long, sorted story short lol. First I will say, do not rent appliances from these people! From day one, my renting experience was hell! Within the first couple of weeks, the washer went out. I originally rented a "swanky, more efficient" front load washer that was replaced with the regular, old top load washer. They never changed my bill to reflect that I had the less expensive washer. I made various phone calls and whatever they never changed it. I move to a different apartment washer and dryer is working fine. I was rooming with two other ppl, we decided to move out on our own. I call Select and tell them that I am moving to a complex that was listed on their website as a complex that they service. We set up a delivery date. I called them and advised that I need to change my delivery date because my move in date changed. The rep advises that they do NOT service my new complex and that I would have to close my account and they would come and pick up the w&d and that I would not be charged due to the fact that they screwed up. It took FOREVER for Select to pick up the w&d and they also had the nerve to bill me AGAIN after I spoke to Lisa, the customer service manager who had just issued a refund for 18 mos worth of credit for being OVERCHARGED. The charge caused my account to be overdrafted. Do not due business with these people! It is not worth the headache!! read more

*I had a very scary encounter with a male CSR that came to the Apartment.* Customer service is one of the most horrible I've ever experienced. They either hang up on you then keep sending you to voicemail when you call back if you ask more than one question or a question they don't want to answer. When I started the service 1 1/2 years ago they said it was to be $35 a month, then after 2 months they secretly increased the price to almost $40. When I discovered this and called they said it was always going to be close to forty dollars and the CSR should have told this to me. The dryer NEVER works and you have to run two or more cycles to get your clothes to dry. Tried many times to have them fix the problem but they would always blame it on the Apartment Complex. The last guy to come out to try to fix the dryer (said he was the owner) never looked at the dryer or allowed me to explain the issue. He just kept yelling to the top of his lungs in front of my small kids, that I didn't deserve his dryer and he should take the washer and dryer away from me, and that I was incompetent and didn't know how to use a dryer. He began taking all the clean clothes out of the dryer and throwing them on the floor. Even after I went into one of my bedrooms and closed the door he kept on ranting and verbally accosting me. He eventually left leaving a very noticeable pungent peculiar smoky scent behind in the apartment. His unprofessional, aggressive and bazaar behavior left me and my little kids very shaken. Any customer service, (especially male) that thinks it is ok to verbally berate a customer (especially a woman holding a baby with a small child by her side); and takes great joy in name calling that customer and creating a troubling environment in a customer's home while claiming to own the equipment, shows volumes about the character of the individual and the integrity of the company. PLEASE IGNORE any comments about how good SELECT LAUNDRY in Colorado is, because this is not the case. Customer service is horrible and the equipment is non functional. The fact that the company rates F on the BBB site is very telling. read more

Very long wait time if you call in, they will not respond to your emails, and if you do get ahold of a representative and you ask to speak to a supervisor you are sent to a voicemail and will never hear from the supervisor. stay away. they will overcharge you. they charge excessive fees. they charge a delivery fee of 25.00 and a pickup fee of 29.00. if you don't provide an updated address they will send your payment elsewhere. they lie like you get emails about your bill being due. i never once received a bill. i called to talk to customer service and she hung up in my face twice!!! i called to have my information removed. i will never deal with them again... also i notice that they had broken something within the laundry room and they never mention anything. . read more

My washer and dryer were scheduled to arrive today while I was at work. I left written permission at the leasing office to allow them to enter when I was out. The washer and dryer were not installed when I got back from work at 4:15, so I called to follow up. A woman contacted the driver for me, we were disconnected, she never called back... I called back in about a half hour, told her my situation, she was apologetic and nice, told me the driver would be there in 45 minutes. I waited in my apartment for over an hour and a half. Tried calling again but they were closed. Opened my apartment door to find a sign saying "no one was in office, waited around 45 minutes, call to reschedule." I was sitting in my apartment. No one knocked or called me to let me know they were here. They just waited at the leasing office like idiots and didn't even bother to knock when they left a sign on my door. Of course no one was in the leasing office... You didn't arrive until after business hours. Now I have to rush to a laundry mat because I'm leaving for vacation. Two thumbs down. read more

The process of renting from Select Laundry started out with no problems but when the day came to delivery of my appliances they suddenly had nothing available and suggested I call back and reschedule. After contacting customer service on the same day they stated the payment process had already been started (not sure why) and they would refund my money. After a week went by with no refund I contacted Select Laundry for a status and was told they never received my money. I ended up faxing them proof of payment being sent to them and said they couldnt find it in their system and suggested I file a claim with my bank. The lack of apologies from this company after it was all said and done is unacceptable. I understand people make mistakes but my perception of this process is they took my money and all I got in return was a headache. I would not recommend renting from this company. read more

I would love to give them no stars. Horrible customer service, only 3 days they will repair out of the week. You barely can talk to anyone. Never call you back and also install a water box on that's collects some lint and the rest of the lint and hot air gets released into your unit. Also causing your air to constantly stay on. I would give these people no stars if I could. I had a washer and dryer with them that stopped working . They refused to come fix so I asked them to come get it back in july. They told me They couldn't come before the Wednesday coming up. They call on Tuesday and say they are coming but at was not scheduled time and my tween daughter was home alone and I couldn't get back to supervise the pick up so I said no. Come on the scheduled time they then turned around and charged me saying I denied scheduled pick up which is false! I then called for months trying to resolve the bill and they never would call me back. I said I had no issue paying the Money I owed which was sixty bucks, They continued to charge me a late fee every month then 8 months later they deduct $150 from my account . I am furious this was not authorized and if this company does not fix this I will make it my personal goal to shut this business down. read more

Worst company I have EVER had to deal with. Gave me a washer that needed repaired and replaced it with a small barely functioning one. Dryer takes 90+ minutes to dry a load of clothes. Double charged my account multiple times and when they said it would be refunded in 24-48 hours, that never happened until I had to file a complaint through my bank (weeks later). Poor customer service including the managing staff. A staff member urinated in my toilet without flushing it and failed to pick up the units when scheduled. DO NOT RENT THROUGH HERE! RACIST DRIVERS!!! I am a professional Spanish Interpreter who was doing a home visit with a Speech Therapist for a family in Aurora on Sable between 1st and 6th avenues. After the appointment I came outside to find a delivery truck from this company parked in front of 5 cars blocking their exit when there was plenty of room to park elsewhere on the lot. After almost 5 minutes of honking, SOLANO, the delivery driver emerged from a 4th story apartment lugging down a large appliance taking his time. I was quite impatient and told him I needed him to move his car, I was late for my next appointment and he was parked illegally. He told me he would do it faster if I "ask nicely". I couldn't believe his audacity. I told him he was irresponsible and unprofessional. He said "I can park wherever I want". NO YOU CAN NOT SOLANO. We argued for a while and then he eventually told me to "go back where you came from". I said "look who is talking" because he looked very hispanic. He said "my family has been here for eight generations". At this point, I was absolutely taken aback and said "so now you are going to be racist". He continued insulting me and using profanities. It is unbelievable to me that someone in a company's uniform would use racist remarks as such. He would not give me his name, but I know the guards at the complex and found out his name and the company he works for, Select Laundry. I later called to company to complain and spoke to a very nice lady on the phone who promised to contact me with the owner, Cassidy. I never heard from him, and so I am writing this review. I have used Select Laundry for about 1 1/2 years. A month ago my laundry came out smelling horrible. I happen to see one of the companies delivery persons and asked about the smell. He said to get tabs from the grocery store that helps keep the washer clean. I followed his directions with no change in smell of the washed clothing. I contacted the the toll free number and an exchange was arranged. The person who did the exchange was Vance. He said that it must be the "water" supply. This was a very strange suggestion since the water supply to my apartment is the same that I use to bathe, cook and clean with. I said that my clothing was ruined and was no longer wearable. He said I may have left the cloths in the washer to long and mold set-in. Again not the case. He offered every excuse he could think of that the problem was. He then offered me a Mr. Kris Stones business card. I called Mr. Stone and left a message with no return call. I felt that after the loss of over $200.00 in clothing I should offered some sort of compensation which no one could authorize other then Mr. Stone. I called the office number to find it no longer in service. I again called the toll free number and was given another number, disconnected, called toll free given another number to a person with the company but could not help me and referred me again back to the toll free number. Was given Vances direct number (cell phone) and he offered me two months free which I had agreed to until he basically called me a liar. At that point I said come pick up your washer and dryer. He stated I had to call the toll free again, which I did. After arranging for a pick up day, I asked if this was the corporate office, the answer was yes. I requested to speak to a customer service manager, they refused to put me thru. About 1 hour later I got a call from Vance and he offered to when they picked up the washer and dryer to give me a check for the total amount of the full rental term I had. I again requested to speak to a manager and he said do you want the check yes or no, I stated I wanted to speak with a manager, he then hung up on me. I again called the toll free to report his actions and was told that Lisa was the customer service manger and connected to her voice mail. Guess what no return call. I should point out that this is all taking place over a three day period. I left Lisa a message again with no return call. Today I finally spoke with Mr Stone who said basically take us to court, read our terms of service, we have no liability. I will be filling a claim against Select Laundry here in Gwinnett County GA. The problem with filing a complain is they need an address for the papers to be served, no one at corporate is willing to give me an address, and I fear that since the phone is disconnected the address will be a bad one also. If you are a management company, complex of anyone involved with offering rental items to your customers, please do your research on this horrible customer service company. I STRONGLY advise anyone to look elsewhere for the rental of a washer and dryer. Check the BBB in your area for complaints with this company. I regret not doing so myself before choosing Select Laundry. Upon checking with the Atlanta BBB this company has a C rating. I am awaiting my paperwork from the BBB to file my complaint. read more

I got Select Laundry Washer and Dryer in late March, in april my dryer stopped heating, I called had to wait a week to get if fixed, I was at work at that time, when I got home a did a load and it did not dry, called them again, they ended up replacing the dryer the next day, why could't they fix it the right way the first time!! and Now my Washer is not draining, my clothes is soaking wet, and water is just sitting in there, I called today Friday, they will not be able to come look at it till Wednesday, I told them this is the third issue in less than 4months i've had with them, and my laundry is sitting in there soaken wet. "it is not my fault the washer is not working and since I am paying for them, i want them fixed sooner than Wednesday, the manager told me he could cancel my contract and pick them up tomorrow" he did not apalogized for all the inconvenience we have had with their washer/dryer or was not at all polite. I was very upset and told him, how rude he was to a customer and that we would cancel our contract and find something somewhere else. Very Unprofessional Rude Manager!! Why not try to make your customers happy and try to fix it sooner, i mean, u can pick them up the next day and loose a client but not fix it? read more

I wouldn't even give this company one star. They showed up a few months ago and took our dryer with no warning. Found out after several calls to the corporate office and our apartment complex that they had the wrong apartment. Now we have moved out of the apartment and they are saying that we stole the dryer because they didn't come pick it up when they were supposed to which was THREE WEEKS ago! It is now missing and we have been told that we will be charged $300 because they didn't do their job. We have spoken to Robert who hung up on my husband and will not answer our calls. Sam, the delivery driver just laughs at the situation. Lastly, the corporate office says "We don't know what to tell you, but we are going to charge you." Do not use this company it is a scam that is costing us big money. We are going to have to get the police, lawyers, and the BBB involved over their stupidity. read more
