I found Master Valet on Kipling & 26th Ave. I dropped off 2 shirts last Sat and paid $ 8.50, so $ 4.25 each. I requested medium starch on hangers. If you don't know how to do the job, admit it and turn down the project. If you don't do so, and you destroy a garment in the process, it's on you -- you should admit your mistake and offer to pay for the damage. He refused to admit what he had done, even though it was obvious that he had no idea how to do the work. Now I'm stuck replacing the damage he caused at my expense. Totally shameful !

I wont be going anywhere else to get my clothing cleaned, even though Bender's is a bit further away than where I live I have made it a part of my weekly errands to keep me looking fresh. I even took all my linens and I never, I MEAN NEVER, do my linens lol. Lastly, I also would like to mention the staff. Incredibly helpful in getting me set-up on my initial run and since over the last two months I am recognized and treated very well. This review is long over due. During one visit, they had a repairman or to service a machine, which would have been great if he hadn't been working in the middle of a linoleum room with a grinder on a metallic washer for some reason. It was deafeningly loud. Unfortunately, he came in between when we put in our wash and came back to move it to the dryer, so we were out of luck in simply avoiding him by returning later. They're open relatively late for a laundromat, which is great! Maybe they're less busy in the evenings? Also, no A/C. Not a major necessity, but it would be nice on ninety-five-degree days when some Maytag man busts out the electric grinder.

I was there trying to dry my laundry and was kicked out at 9:25. The man whose name is Paul was not only extremely rude and mean, told me to get my clothes out right now and started pulling my clothes out of the dryer. It was an unexpected and completely uncomfortable situation. The last time I was there he was also there and was overheard by another customer that was not happy about being kicked out because he and his friend were going to a bar and he wanted to get out early. Change the hours on the door so people know what time they are allowed to be there.!! The owner Carol is a very sweet lady and is there in the daytime. Maybe just go there then if you can. I was told by this horrible man that I am never allowed in again because I didn't get my clothes out of the dryers fast enough. Horrible experience!!!!
