Dr. Gatlin made some very subtle adjustments, and I have been basically symptom free (sciatic pain, burning, numbness, right shoulder muscular spam, neck pain) since then. After having to pay privately for xrays and an exam (they said it wasn't covered by Medicare or Champ VA), I was wrestled (his words) by Dr. Smith. Being 63 years old, he treated my body like I was a teenage boy with his disregard for my discomfort and age. At the end of his manipulation, I complained of a severe headache. They had me sit down and Dr. Smith saw me after a while. Because 20 minutes had passed, I told him that the headache wasn't as severe, however, the headache continued for 5 days and I let the office know of this debilitating problem. Not once did the doctor contact me to follow up on this problem. I feel like they simply wanted to profit from my pain with no concern for my complaint. I won't be returning to this practice.
