After numerous calls and messages, sweet BREANNA picked up the phone at 2 PM and just owned the whole situation! She made contact promptly with KARMA and I have no doubt that between the two of these professional and personable women, I'll have my meds today. Please thank both Breanna and Karma for me! With Breanna, her patience, willingness to help, and reassurance helped to calm me and I feel confident that the dilemma is resolved! I'm so grateful for Karma and staff members like Breanna who understand how frustrating these situations can be for the patient. Her attention to the details of the situation kept me from having to repeat the whole scenario over and over and she just took it forward, assuring me that everything would be resolved and that she'd call me back promptly, I felt complete relief after a stressful morning. With Karma, I always feel that I am the only patient at the practice, she makes you feel that special! Within days, I had a seizure. What followed was over a week of constant calls just trying to reach someone--calls that mostly went unanswered. When I finally got a response, I was told to go back on my original medication, but I had no refills available. After explaining that, I was told they would inform the doctor and that I should go to the ER if my symptoms worsened. There was no follow-up. No urgency. Nothing. I was referred here for specialized care for seizures and migraines, but my experience showed a serious lack of communication, coordination, and patient support. When you're dealing with conditions like this, that level of care isn't just disappointing--it's unsafe. I cannot recommend this clinic.

We came to Dr. Hey for a second opinion when her doctor recommended a wait and see approach. In our experience, back pain becomes worse with age, not better. My daughter is in color guard and plays violin. She had significant back pain and took pain medication daily. Dr. Hey discussed her options with us and encouraged my daughter to think about what would be best for her health. She opted for surgery. She missed about 2 weeks of school and rested during spring break. She was able to return to color guard for band camp in July and has not had to take any more pain medication for her back since her surgery. We are so thankful for Dr. Hey's expertise and his caring heart. He and his staff were an answer to prayers. My daughter is so thankful that she had her surgery and is very thankful for Dr. Hey.
