This is for the Charlotte location - I was looking for a physical therapist to treat my sprains and…read moreutilized the Anthem BCBS website and in-network provider tool to identify a doctor that was in-network. The website listed Physical Therapy Center as a provider that was in-network and conveniently located close to my residence. When making my first appointment with Physical Therapy Center, I confirmed with the provider that they were in network for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and scheduled my appointment. On the day of service (first appointment) - The front desk of the clinic processing my payment, confirmed that they are in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and that I have met the in-network deductible maximum amount. Then she asked me to make the co-pay payment of $19 for the first visit. I visited the office thereafter on 7/13/17, 7/20/17, 8/7/17, 8/10/17 and 8/24/17. The claims through august (8/7/17, 8/10/17 and 8/24/17) were all processed correctly as in-network - using the provider name "Physical Therapy Center". However, the provider wrongly processed 3 claims in July 2017 as out of network using the provider name "Physical Therapy Center Two" even after confirming multiple times on the day of service that were indeed in-network. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield confirmed with me that the provider was in-network the entire time (as Physical Therapy Center) but they purposely chose to use a different group code (out of network code) when submitting the claims. This is an unfair, deceptive and abusive practice! Physical Therapy Center lied to me that my claims were going to be processed in-network and used an out of network code to bill 3+ visits in July 2017. 5 Months later they then sent me a surprise bill (Surprise billing is illegal) for over $900+ and are lying again and putting the blame on the insurance provider for processing the claims as "Physical Therapy Center Two". Note all visits were at the S. Blvd location but July claims were processed as Physical Therapy Center Two (out of network) and August claims were processed as "Physical Therapy Center" (in-network)

Found out the cost after my insurance paid and it was too much. The guy got me a loan for part and set up a payment plan for the rest. They started my treatment the same day after my loan approval. They ran me through the cycle. No one introduced themselves to me, they just went to work. I had to ask the PTA the her name and the names of the chiropractor and nurse. No one stressed the importance of doing the strength exercises at home. They just gave me the papers. I saw a nurse, chiropractor, and physical therapy assistant (PTA). No Physical Therapist and No medical doctor. Everyone was nice and friendly. At the end, on your last day of treatment they give you a survey. I let them know how I genuinely felt. After the survey the nurse sat me in an exam room to let me know she read my survey. This was uncomfortable. She seemed offended, when she said she hoped she was not a person who did not introduce herself to me before getting to work on me. She was. The chiropractor seemed annoyed and decided not to reposition my legs to the same length. He said, "there even." I immediately thought to myself, "that's a lie." I am not sure why they thought it was a good idea to confront me about my survey. The last time I went to the office to make a payment the whole staff stood in a line as if they were ready to fight. I had no idea why. It was awkward. I paid my bill and left w/o incident. The visit was akward. They missed charging my cc for two months then tried to charge it three times in one day as a result of their mistake. I do feel better than before I went there. So their process is able to relieve pain. However, they need to work on their customer service skills.

They have made me aware of issues, I have developed over time, that i need to correct. I thoroughly trust these two, and am amazed, at my age, I can feel a change for the better! I had been dealing with a knee injury for 2 years and I came in initially for dry needling and she did an evaluation and recommended shock therapy and BFR (blood flow restriction) instead and it has helped tremendously! I'm now able to squat pain free! Mind you, I had been seeing another PT for those 2 years and nothing helped until I saw Dr. Lipocky. Also the students there are very professional as well and clearly know their stuff too! The front desk is always so welcoming and will schedule around what time works for you and recommend treatment packages to save some money too! Hands down the absolute best physical therapy clinic around! I would recommend it to any and everyone if they're dealing with any type of injury!

They have made my time there stress free and fun. I have worked with all the therapists, assistants, and office staff (Leah), and every one has been kind and understanding. Don't get me wrong, they expect me to work hard at therapy and at home, but they offer constant encouragement and praise. I have worked most often with Chris and we have a nice rapport. I have never enjoyed going to PT as much as I have to Compleat Rehab. We laugh, I grumble, and we laugh some more. They have brought my arm from being unable to use it to being able to raise it above my head. I was concerned my arm would never be "normal," but they have proved me wrong. I would recommend them to any one in need of PT.

The staff at check in was great and made the check process easy. I had already filled out most of my information online but check in was smooth. I was quickly called back to an exam room and the attendant was professional and thorough. They explained they would need to take X-rays and that was handled quickly. However, once I got back to the exam room, the doctor took about 45 minutes to come to the room and do the exam and explain the X-rays. He was professional and explained everything in a straightforward manner and answered all of my questions. OrthoCarolina did a great job, it was the wait time that bothered me and there was no apology for the long wait time. I would recommend!

They really know their stuff. Beyond knowing their stuff is their continual dialogue with patients. On each appointment we began discussing how the exercises were working, how I was feeling, what is working or not. Then we would get into planning for that day and going forward. I was involved in the therapy. And we continued in this joint planning over a month of treatments. They administer a tablet form of survey asking about your condition and how it is affecting your life. After the therapy has run its course you complete the same survey, so they have a before and after record of your condition. Impressive and given the people cycling through this practice it was clear that the facility and all the therapists were doing something special. Good resource for most all of us.
