When I called to ask if this practice took Medicare, I asked about Medicare as well as my…read moresupplemental Parts C and D. They said yes; if there was a copay or additional fees, the onus was on the practice to let me know. I arrived at my appointment this morning. The receptionist, who was very nice, asked for my insurance cards, which I provided. "Oh, you have Medicare....." I need to give you this.....a piece of paper explaining their $35 per visit service fee (not a copay, a service fee, per visit). When I explained that this was not mentioned when I called, she went in back to speak with the doctor. His response "Medicare pays us $21 a visit, so no, I'm not waiving the $35 fee (I never asked them to do that). He was rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional. I'd never go there for treatment. PS. wish I could give them zero stars.

Kathy: "yes" Me: "and I was wondering what kind of cones do you use there"? *****a few seconds of silence*** Karen: "Did you want to book an appointment?" Me: "perhaps but I just had a few questions fir.. **interrupts** Karen: "We use regular paraffin herbal infused ear cones" (she sounds annoyed so I skip the other question I had) (at this point her cold way of speaking told me I am not going here) Me: What is your name ma'am? Karen: Karen. Me: Do you perform treatments Karen? Karen: Yes I said thank you for your time and hung up. My mother and aunt are both massage therapists and I have worked in spas and salons in the past. This is literally the opposite of how to grow a client base. Please...somebody tell me I am wrong and the place is wonderful...Maybe there are nice calming personalities there? Otherwise my search continues because I felt stress just from trying to book at this place. I go out of my way to make sure people are comfortable and all questions are answered in my field of work.
