My new rehab place and my in house therapist for my right knee both said my left knee should have been further along AND I did more PT at home than I did at Rehab Associates. Complete waste of time. I could not recommend them at all. They just care about hurrying up, getting you in and getting you out. My half hour session consisted of 5 minutes on the bike and 5 minutes icing you down. How much therapy do you get for 20 minutes, not much.

Through neck stretching and strengthening exercises for the past 8 sessions, he has helped me understand the problem and walked me through exercises I can continue to do at home to strengthen my shoulder & neck muscles. He demonstrates a kind and caring manner & is an excellent communicator. I would definitely recommend him to others! For the record, the physical therapy office in Stratford is BOSS!!!…read more But....caveat emptor (buyer beware) for the most part this organization is the PITS! OSG is they are a mid sized company that functions like the New York City Department of Motor vehicles...everyone is pretty much herded through the process without regard for the individual. I have no doubt that they actually care, but their execution is piss poor in my opinion. If you call, prepare to press about 1000 options before you are transferred to someone who transfers you to someone else who then transfers you to someone's voice mail. FUGGEDABOUT speaking to an actual doctor (HAHAHAHAHAAAA!). They are too busy. The only person who you can leave a message for is the doctor's assistant who probably WON'T call you back. I have had three experiences with this office. The first time after I broke my ankle. It was a pretty decent experience....they tried to "upsell" me all kinds of crap after diagnosing my break, which I did not need. It left me feeling pretty uncomfortable, kind of like the icky feeling you get after dealing with a used car salesman? The second time was after severe pains in my back after an exercise injury. I was unable to move and they prescribed a ton of medication and physical therapy. After repeated calls back and forth to schedule the physical therapy, I just gave up and tried to mend on my own. Why you ask? I left so many voice mails and called to schedule appointments so many times I figured the stress was aggravating the injury even more because I was so tense. I took my meds and sat my tush down. The 3rd time I went back after the back injury flared up again. I was actually able to see a doctor this time and he was great....too bad I've been trying to speak with him again (2.5 weeks and counting), about some problems with my medication, to no avail. The defenders of his phone line keep telling me I don't need to speak to him I need to speak with his assistant. HUH? The assistant I've never met, who does not return phone calls and who does not have a medical degree? I guess that person is more qualified to tell me nothing than the doctor is. In any event, it has been two weeks and every call I make is to bitch some more. Hopefully when I go back next week for my follow up, and pony up my copay I can remind the doctor that his liable for the wonderful treatment I've received thus far as my condition is further exacerbated. Rant over....find a smaller, less "busy" office, that actually cares about you and your well being. I know I am looking. They seriously need to determine if they want to be a fancy office that caters to athletes and the like or if they want to be doctors and GASP help someone....perhaps do no harm?

Office rep Stacy asked me to "drop off the paperwork" after 1 week from the surgery. My insurance faxed them the paperwork needed 4 times, but Stacy insisted that I go in. I called multiple people to see if they could do an exception since I could not drive and they all refused to help. I was in tears at this point. I went in a week later for the following appointment and I got verbally attacked by the staf. I found that very unprofessional. I was in pain, depressed because I can't move freely, concerned that my insurance was not going to get the paperwork in time, but i was never rude or unprofessional with them. I can not understand how they are allowed to treat their sick patients like that.

I'd been hampered/crippled by a nagging hip "injury" for six months or more. I was (mis)diagnosed twice, went to several physical therapists, but in just the first two sessions with Tara I saw more improvement than all those other choices combined. She didn't treat the symptoms or the pain...she looked at my entire body/structure holistically and identified four interconnected issues that were behaving like Whac-A-Mole. Not only did she give me exercises, she gave me smart advice as to where and how to sleep and how best to realign all my parts. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the treatment, the care, the attitude and the results!

I've had 3 sessions so far and my broken and sprained ankle feels so much better, and so do my ribs, which I broke on a boat incident 1 year ago and still bothers me. You will not be working with an intern while she sees 2 other patients, it is really one on one, for a full hour. She has a holistic approach and works with balancing everything in your body, and what is causing the problems, not just the injury you are seeing her for. She also gives you "homework", and you can feel the difference it makes daily. I highly recommend her.

First, on the day of my surgery I received a call at 8 AM to see if I could arrive earlier as there…read morehad been a cancelation. I agreed and arrived at 9:45 AM. At 10:00 AM I was greated by a nurse in the waiting lounge, by the way whoever is your driver to take you home is not allowed to stay in the reception area. By 10:30 AM all the pre-op procedures were completed. At 11:00 AM, a Dr. intruduced himself as the anesthesiliagist. I asked him how long befor the surgery and he said 5-10 minutes. I then asked what time it was and he pointed to a clock at the nurses station. I thanked him and he left. Some time went by and, 11:30 AM, and I called my wife to see how she was doing. She thought that I was done and I told her that I was still waiting. I noticed the nurse who took care of me leave the area & at 12:30 PM I noticed that she had returned. I waved to her & she came over. I asked what is going on & she said that she would go and find out. She returned a few minutes later and told that the Dr. had run into a issue with a patient and that it would be a "while longer." When, finally at 1 PM the Dr. came to tell me that it would be a few minutes & that I would be going into surgery. You would think that after being asked to go in earlier than originally scheduled that someone would have the courtsey to come and tell you that there was a delay. Now my other "extremly" negative comment. I have sent four emails, over time, through the portal and NO ONE has ever answered my questions. So, DON'T bother setting one up as it's obvious that no one looks to see if you have made contact with OSG.

Because of her, I will find another Dr. Reception, X-ray, MRI, are all outstanding but this thing needs to be back office counting bandaids I had just found out my back fracture has gotten worse. No empathy, no recognition that id been there, nothing other than "you should know the back brace will cost $1000", and you already got a brace a year ago. This brace I bought from Walgreens, after a completely different back procedure, by a completely different doctor outside of osg. I had a lamenectomy (L3-5) over a year ago. I am being treated now for a fracture of L1. Totally different problems and treatment. Duhhh. Geez, even I know where the vertebrae lie in the spine. Even I can figure out that an over the counter back brace is good to protect a lamenectomy, while it heals, but is NOT the right brace for an L1 fracture that keeps compressing. I have severe osteoporosis. A -3.4 to be exact. I am in such pain. I am only 68. I need my back healthy. This person needs a class in patient care, and needs to be in the back office or working at subway (actually they are far nicer).
