At first, things were moving along smoothly with just a few glitches because of new staff and apparently new schedules. One would hope that after a few weeks, things would smooth out. Not here. Today, I was scheduled for a massage and was asked to see finance about my claim by the front desk. So, I arrived early. Finance knew nothing about needing to see me as it was unnecessary, since I had provided all the claim info previously. However, I was willing to cooperate despite the peculiarity of needing to see Finance. After that, I was informed the therapist was out sick (apparently for several days, I do hope it is not serious). Sadly, they only have one massage therapist. So, if she's out, too bad if you need a massage there. At one time, they had 3, I believe. My biggest problem with Creekside is the lack of communication and being told I needed to do something that was totally unnecessary. The patient deserves to be given advance notice if their appointment was cancelled, not when they arrive. The patient's time is important as well. I really like Dr. Jean. Her attitude and skill are wonderful. Which is why I am not giving one star, but two. Dr. Jean takes the time to listen and understand the patient's issues. So I have no issue with her. Going to the chiropractor should not be stressful. Giving the patient the run-around and not communicating is neither appropriate nor helpful. It is unfortunate that such a good therapist has such poor support staff. Lastly, take ownership! Nobody there took ownership of the situation. Just "who told you that?" and the blame-game. Odd, considering it had been scheduled. I was given a small apology from the front desk. The front end is a real mess and in real need of communication between departments. I will not be returning.

As I come from afar, it's appreciated when the staff is able to work with me if the traffic is horrible (beyond my control, although I give myself 1.5 hrs to commute from south of Olympia, normally 45 min. drive). A++ The therapy technologists are always ready to help, know exactly which exercises to do, how to smoothly transition from one to the next, making it an easier process, and creates a routine for patients to follow- kind of like learning a choreography. My therapist Lani has been invaluable: immediately immersing me in the scientific knowledge regarding my condition, ecstatically answering my many minute detailed questions, and giving me as much detailed information as my brain could absorb (she's passionate about sharing info). This valuably deepened my time, investment, & working with her has been a life changing experience for the better, as I'm able to understand my condition, limits, & how to overcome them in healthy & productive ways vs. continuing to damage & push thru pain. She is VERY GOOD at making hand braces & ensuring they fit right. I had a major plumbing issue a few days after receiving them, and after 3 days of shoveling, my hands & wrists were irritated, but not thoroughly trashed due to the braces' protection & the exercises I had been doing to strengthen my fingers. The next day my hands recovered after a heated tens session, exercises, and adhesion scraping Lani did after carefully evaluating the damage. Overall, I 100% recommend SSPT & IRG to anyone who may need the services they offer. It was definitely worth my time commuting the 1.5 hrs thru bad traffic to get there. I originally went to doctor young because I had been in a head on collision and needed treatment on…read moremy back and neck which was a good experience. I got diagnosed with a very serious health issue and decided that I would continue my care with him as the chiropractic side of it went great. I've been going to him for this for a couple of months and now that my health issues are getting worse I've had serious issues sleeping and can only sleep for like 10-15 minutes at a time then up for hours and it is keeping me from being able to go to work because I don't have the energy as I'm not getting close to the amount of rest I need. I went to doctor young and I explained to him that I needed something to help me sleep at night because I was getting 0 to an hour of sleep a night and I needed to be able to go to work and function. He prescribes me a "natural sleep aid" and says this will help me sleep. So I spend 25+ dollars for the medicine and go home and take it as soon as I get home because I hadn't slept in 24 hours and had to miss another day of work so I figured I'd utilize the day to sleep and rest. Long story short I ended up taking about 5-6 of these pills that were supposed to help me sleep and never got tired and was up all day and all night. Insurance doesn't cover the natural medicine so all the medicine has to be paid for out of pocket. So I was very upset that I paid 25+ dollars for 30 pills I call and asked for him to prescribe me and actual medicine at the pharmacy that would actually help me get some sleep and his response was that the medicine he prescribed takes up to 6 days to start working..... 6 freakin days!!!!!! I told him from the beginning that I needed something to help me sleep that night not in 6 days. Never have I felt so upset when he knows what I've been diagnosed with and the issues I was having. Dr Young is about lining his pockets and not helping his patients. Not to mention that he is as filling out my leave paperwork and instead of putting down a realistic time frame that I'd be off work which is around two months he puts down that I'd be on leave for a year!!!! Like it was denied immediately!!! What kind of idiot is this clown. I was sitting there to answer any questions and he never asked how long my treatment would be and I assumed because he was my primary he was in touch with the other doctors but apparently not. This guy totally screwed up my paperwork on top of selling me something the wasn't helpful. I would NEVER go back to this guy. He has totally set me back and now I'm left scrambling to find a new primary care doctor and only have so many days to resubmit my paperwork. Very unprofessional to say the least!!!!!

During this last phone call where I tried to reschedule my dad's appointment, she informed me that she would have to remove him from the schedule for multiple reschedulings. I informed her I could not do anything about the upcoming appointment, so he would have to miss it, and she said "OK!" and hung up on me. While it has been tough for me to get my dad to his appointments as scheduled, due to work or illness, I always call ahead and give as much notice as I can. I'll now have to look for another PT clinic, preferably one with better customer service. No issues with the actual physical therapists, or anyone else for that matter... just this one lady.
