Suzi was absolutely amazing and assured me that my neck would return to normal function and still loved me and wanted me back in a nice long committed relationship. She got me a list of exercises and had a bunch of great tips on working (ie, don't sit in front of a PC 15 hours a day and wonder why you are in pain, duh!) and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I very much appreciated how clean everything was, and they were great about making sure I sanitized and kept my germs safely to myself (and vice versa). More recently, I've had bilateral hip replacements and have had wonderful therapy results after both. Again, with such care and attention to recovery and beyond. My husband is now going to be receiving care from South Sound - Lacey. Due to his physician's scheduling and re-scheduling of the surgery, Carrie and Dani have very kindly and creatively rearranged appts twice in order to get my husband in. Why didn't they call me, send me an e-mail or text me before I showed up to the clinic? 2. What kinds of patient care is this clinic providing to sick patient? 3. How can you compensate my time & effort about canceling my appointment in front of my face when I showed up? 4. When I called them for my initial appointment, they warned me if I have any no shows for my appointment without 24 hour notice, they must charge me so I have to give them 24 hour notice. "Where is my 24 hour notice for cancellation of my appointment before I showed up?" 5. Is this place really taking care of sick patients? 6. What happened with patient care & compassion for taking care of sick patient? PUGET SOUND PHYSICAL THERAPY MUST LEARN PROFESSIONALISM, PATIENT CARE & ORGANIZATION SKILL. I am a structural and wildland firefighter, as well as a lifetime martial artist. Because of my…read more27-year career and lifetime of martial arts training, my 54 year old body has some issues, such as rotator cuff and knee pain due to injuries and wear-and-tear caused by hard use. I have also experienced high levels of stress at times from both career and personal life (haven't we all?). Being a naturalist, I am reluctant to take the standard AMA approach to achieve overall well-being, unless necessary. There's nothing quite like a trauma surgeon when you need one (hopefully not) and there are some western meds that really do the job (NSAIDS) for severe, acute conditions. I once hit my shin very hard with a hose coupling when fighting a wildfire and it left me barely able to walk. My partner offered me some Advil and I said "I never take that stuff." He convinced me to try it and it worked very well, enough so that I was able to continue work virtually pain-free. However, most of the injuries and general health conditions I've dealt with over the years have been treated with natural and holistic medicine, along with some physical therapy. Inflammation, pain, and stress-related illnesses have been treated with herbs, acupuncture, and homeopathic remedies, Sometimes the healing period has been long, but I have been able to avoid pharmaceutical meds (with side effects) and surgery (which sometimes goes wrong for people). I feel great and really believe it is because I have found a health care facility with providers who work for me. Fred Klemmer is an outstanding acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine doctor who has worked on me for over twelve years and has helped me immensely to heal injuries and deal with stressful situations, with both herbs and strong meditative acupuncture. Dr. Tim Shannon has been a great help, also. He has been guiding me with my supplement regimen and has prescribed for me a successful homeopathic remedy, both of which have helped me find a balanced mind and body.
