I absolutely adore the people working here. They are super friendly and easy to get along with. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable about my treatment. I was with Michelle and JulieAnne for the first part of rehab on my shoulder. They were both great. I was with Ivan after my knee surgery, mostly on work hardening. His approach to my treatment was exactly how I expected it to be. My job requirements are to lift very heavy weight. He pushed me but was very aware of not causing more injury. He came across as genuinely caring about my well being and my ability to get back to work. I hope I never get injured again but if I do need rehab, I will request to come to this rehab facility.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment with them after my surgery for over 3 weeks. I asked by doctor to use this group instead of their group as I liked Kyle. However, this place has gone to the dogs. they don't call you back. When I finally talked to Lisa, she promised to call me back. nothing. Terrible service. Look, if they are booked and don't want my business that is fine, but have the common friggin courtesy to call me back and tell me. I have been sitting here, wanting to get started on PT and they have no respect for anyone. I have since found another qualified PT group who actually called me back in like 5 minutes. KU Sports Medicine has gone the way of its basketball program, right down the tubes.

Both injuries had become chronic and nothing had helped significantly until I was finally steered in the right direction. I have been really diligent with my exercises for both injuries and have improved by leaps and bounds! I imagine all of their therapists are good but I worked with Megan and I highly recommend her! The only reason why I am not leaving a 5 star review is that their services are VERY expensive. If you've got good insurance then that shouldn't be a problem but I mine has a very high deductible so I did have to pay a significant amount of money out of pocket for the physical therapy. It was worth every penny but still very expensive.

When you arrive they always greet you with a happy hello. And the back office staff does a great job with billing and insurance questions. I've never experienced any issues with insurance or appointment issues in the 2 years I've been a patient here. They do a great job of keeping things light and fun with their monthly giveaways for patients and voting contests for pumpkin and gingerbread house displays during the holidays. The owners are both active in the community. I've seen them out at local school events and taking photos at local school sporting events. They display their photography skills throughout the business. I've always thought it would be nice to see more of the staff or patients they've treated included in these photos. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He does an extraordinary job of listening to the patient to understand them better. He has compassion and also nudges you when you need that extra support. I appreciate that he starts by educating his patients and establishing the building blocks for treatment.

They visited my home following surgery to assess any needs at home and reassure me in addition to planning for my post-surgery therapy. Jeremy and his team are extremely knowledgeable about therapeutic techniques and exercise to rehab an injury or recover post-surgery. When I felt discouraged or experienced a set-back, they were encouraging and adjusted my therapy to help me work through it. The office manager, Mary, is so helpful and patient. Everyone at the facility is friendly and invested in helping clients receive the best care possible. I HIGHLY recommend their office!

Do not come to this place or any Blue Valley Physical Therapy locations unless you are looking for a disorganized and dishonest place to take all of your money ! They lie about billing and bill incorrectly! Ever since they got bought out by Kansas City Orthopedic Institute this company has gone downhill in terms of their ethics. We received a bill on 11/30/21 in the mail for $970.76, well then I called and they had no idea what was going on and said would call me back, but I never got a call back. We were told that we only had to pay $6.50 at every visit, which we paid and they had verified benefits with insurance on 11/16/21, but then my insurance tells me they never called to verify benefits and now the second incorrect bill i'm getting is for $161.18 on 1/6/22 because they have no record that we paid $6.50 at every visit on 11/16/21, 11/22/21, 11/29/21, 12/7/21, 12/9/21, except for on 11/22/21, which they showed we paid $6.50. Luckily, I paid with my credit card, so I have records, but obviously they have no idea.I used to come to this place, referred my parents, spouse and everyone, but now I tell them don't come here. The physical therapist are good, but even when they reached out to find out why we didn't come back and I told them what had happened, there was no follow-up or anything from them. Overall, the worst physical therapy in all of Kansas and Missouri. The only reason, we were able to make sure we didn't get robbed was because I work in healthcare. Just unbelievable and there is no communication from management or anyone to resolve this issue. I am writing this review because I don't want you or anyone you love to be taken advantage of in our health care system by this company. Hopefully, now that I have written this review somebody from management will pay attention and get this corrected ASAP. Update just spoke with billing manager because we got another incorrect bill for $120, the person didn't know at first why we got this bill, and was telling me it was the total of all visits, but the total did not equal that amount, then she figured it out and said it was for the first claim that had been voided by them and it could be disregarded and she would correct it, but now this is the 3rd incorrect bill. If I had not called, they would still have in their system that we owe this amount, but that is incorrect. So, now I have to take my billing statement from my credit card and receipts to show that I paid the $6.50. That person would also not transfer me to their manager and hung upon us. Just left message for Keith Camber, hopefully will get this corrected.
