You get the picture (horrible pun not intended). For this year's Pride (2014), I was given an amazing space on the patio, nestled in between the DJ, the dancefloor, and the drinks. I just *had* to do something fun. I thought -- what better way to remember such a fun night than with a great photo booth? I had seen The Awesomatic's ads in my Facebook feed (you know, the ones with Jeni's head popping out), so I decided to shoot them an email. Lo and behold, they were free the Friday night of Pride, and they were happy to accommodate me. After a few back and forth emails with the owner, Levi (who I'm pretty positive I've called Eli... sorry!), we had a plan for the Pride photo booth. Levi was super laid-back and easy to work with. In fact, I was the hot mess customer who was slow to answer emails and kept asking them if they could stay longer at the event -- but they handled it all beautifully. If you've never seen The Awesomatic, let me tell you -- it's no ordinary photo booth. This one's magical. Why, you ask? It's not the super creative backdrops they can make, or the crazy friendly staff, or even the designs they can print directly on the photos... nope, it's the machine itself that really makes the magic happen. The Awesomatic is a free-standing computer/camera combo where you can see yourself before the picture is taken! In other words, you and your friends can get in the silliest poses and look amazing in your pictures -- because you know exactly how you'll look before photo is ever taken. It's a big, digital screen that you control yourself -- when you take the picture and how many you take. Once you've taken the best new profile picture, you'll get a printed photo and will later have access to it digitally. There's just something about The Awesomatic that encourages people at your event to have fun. I absolutely cannot wait to hire them again! This is a long review but we encourage you to read it…read more Overall, our "Lasting Impression" is that the company was unprofessional and did not deliver what we paid for. JP, the President, was incredibly rude and awful to work with. We rented a large tent (40'x120'), dance floor, chairs, tables, glassware, etc for our 200 person backyard wedding. They created a digital layout for us, showing exactly where the tent poles would land and where our dance floor and tables would be. They also visited the event site twice to make sure the tent would fit there. JP visited the site himself and told us it would work. A crew delivered and set up the tent. They left large holes in the yard which we had to repair to avoid injury to our guests. They also mistakenly put an extra anchor in the yard which we had to ask them to remove. Many of the poles were crooked and the tent had visible stains. When the crew came to install the dance floor, we were told they couldn't install it as previously diagrammed by Lasting Impressions and as agreed to/contracted/and paid for by us. The floor installer commented on how crooked the tent installation was and couldn't seem to figure out how to install the dance floor with the tent poles in place. My father had to spend several hours working with the floor installer, loaned him a tape measure (since he barely had any tools) and helped him figure out how to get most of the flooring installed. In the diagram, the tent poles were shown to go on top of the dance floor. However, when they showed up to install it, they told us that the pole would have to go on grass instead. So, we had a dance floor with a hole in the center, another trip hazard for our guests and not what we had agreed to or wanted. In addition, due to the pole placement, we had to forgo an entire row of our dance floor, which we had already paid for. As for pick up after the wedding, there was no communication. We were originally told Monday or Tuesday, and that they would follow up with an exact time. We emailed and called JP to see when everything was going to be picked up, but never got a response. Instead the truck showed up in our driveway in the afternoon. Thankfully we were home to receive them. Afterwards, we reached out to JP to ask for a refund for the dance floor that his team did not put down for us. Not only did he refuse to refund us, he accused us of making his team wait for us to remove lighting from the tent (they were not delayed) and he didn't even apologize for their error. After a mistake that big, that's the very least he could do. Additionally, when trying to rent everything for the wedding, JP would send us quotes with items missing and inconsistent prices. In the few weeks leading up, we had to follow up with him several times to make sure that we did, in fact, have everything reserved. We had never received a final agreement or notice for final payment so we reached out to them. JP blamed us, claiming he had asked us for the signed estimate many times but never received it. We forwarded him the email where we had sent the signed estimate several weeks earlier, but he never acknowledged it. When JP eventually sent the final agreement, the prices had been raised from the original quote. We asked about it and were told that we were supposed to be charged for an extra delivery charge, so really we were still saving money.  The final agreement was also missing several items from the original quote, including the propane oven that was going to be used to cook our guests' food. If we had not double and triple checked everything, it could have been a disaster. Lasting Impressions was disorganized, hostile, and made promises they couldn't keep. They put their customers in an impossible position because it's too late to make changes or hire anyone else. The bottom line is - don't trust Lasting Impressions with your event, especially something as important as a wedding.

I experienced the raucousness of this experience through a company team building and mission accomplished. Our group had about 75 minutes of time in the "Prime Time" room which was ample time to play takes on Family Feud, the Match Game, and more physically interactive games like bean bag toss, spoon flipping and flip cup. Maximum fun in a great atmosphere, and the staff's energy and on stage personas really envelop you in the game shows experience. The "Classics" room that we did not experience reportedly had takes on the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, which.... sign me up for that next time!

My son was only 13 days old when we had the shoot…read more Natalie is very quick and knows how to handle the little ones for fast and multiple pictures with various poses. She held our son, swaddled him, rocked him, and always had his pacifier nearby to soothe him. She even has a shoosher, although our son does not respond to that as much. We went to her home in Grove City for the shoot. She has a room right by the front door where she has an indoor shoot setup. She had several props and cute clothes for the shoot. I felt she was reasonable in her pricing for the quality and quantity of the photos along with the amount of poses she does. She gave us over 100 digital images and gave us the rights to print all of them. While searching other photographers, most were very expensive while only giving 5-10 digital images with the cost of the session. I would definitely recommend her and I was happy to have beautiful photos of our baby boy for a lifetime.

I had a really great experience with Top Dog Event Rental! Mike and his team were FANTASTIC! I only…read morehad 4 days to find a 20'x40' tent that had a cooling system (I didn't even know they had these, but we had planned an outdoor event for 65 people and the forecast was 96-degrees). I reached out to several companies early one morning, and Mike was the first one to call me back - it was within an hour or 2, not 24 hours like some other companies. He said he had everything we needed. And he was right! He and his awesome team showed up the evening before the event, put the big tent up, strung up some Edison lights, put on the side walls, and set up the evaporative cooling units. Mike even came back the next day, 2 hours before the party started to fill the coolers with water and ice and fire them up. The next day, his crew came by again to take everything down, just like they said they would. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Mike and his Top Dog team! They really saved the (very hot) day!! I highly recommend them!

I took my two young daughters here for open play. It was not that busy and the staff was very…read morefriendly. I really like the fact that the place is well-staffed because there are a lot of opportunities for bad things to happen. With so many employees on hand (and friendly and helpful as well!), I didn't feel like my kids were in danger. The majority of the activities are for kids older than my own, maybe for ages 5-12? My 3 year-old could do some of the obstacle courses and the small kids' bounce house. My 17 month-old could do the small bounce house and I took her down two of the slides, but it was not easy to get up while carrying a small child. There are many bounce houses and inflatable slides, a trampoline, a small laser tag maze, and other related things. There is also a small children area with giant blocks and childrens' toys, but not much else. I thought $9 was a bit steep for two hours (or less) of play and was surprised they don't have longer periods of play time. But my daughters enjoyed their time there and I would probably go back when they are a bit older. It's worth checking out. As I mentioned, the staff was great and made my daughters' experience great.

The entire process, from planning (Nikolina) and budgeting (Heather) to setup (Lawrence) and then take down (Wes) was enjoyable and easy for us. Exceedingly professional, the entire ACC team was super-friendly and careful not to disturb our neighbors and they erected a 40x60 clear span tent was clean and just perfect for our wedding event.
