Update #2: the owner has resorted to intimidation and threats! I made two attempts to request a refund (since I paid in cash), and not only was it denied but I was threatened to not file a complaint with the BBB. Although it does not state it anywhere on their website or when you book an appointment, Jess shrieked into the phone repeatedly that they only offer re-do's not refunds. Seeing as how there is nothing to be re-done since Emma cut off 6 inches of hair instead of 2 AND Jess threatened me with her police officer husband to not come back there, a re-do doesn't seem feasible. When I brought up the BBB, which every consumer has a right to do, Jess threatened to take me to small claims court. So not only did her stylist ruin my hair and they got paid in full plus a $40 tip still, but I got left a fake 1 star review at my own business, and then threatened with small claims court. Update: after posting my review of my actual experience here, the owner went and left a 1 star review on MY business page. This isn't how being a small business owner works! How embarrassing and shameful. My hair was left un-fixable after my appointment with Emma today. I left in tears and can't even bring myself to look at myself in the mirror now. The color was completely different than what was discussed, but that's fixable. What is breaking my heart is realizing how much was chopped off and butchered. What was only supposed to be 2 inches turned into half of my hair being cut off and ruining over 3 years of growth I had been working on. When it reached the time for Emma to do the hair cut, I had my eyes closed tight to keep myself from crying in the salon over how disappointing my color turned out; I thought she was just adding layers but she maliciously cut off several more inches. I had nothing to say to her and just wanted to pay and leave. The owner kept insisting I could come back and they would try to fix it but there is no fixing this. My confidence is crushed and my gorgeous hair is gone. The lack of professionalism from Emma was appalling. She lacked basic customer service skills for a high end salon; maybe if she checked in while she was cutting my hair, I would still have my hair left! This salon is fantastic. My hair looks amazing every time I come in to see Jessie. My kids see Emma and they always have the cutest cuts! I don't understand why Yelp is only showing low reviews. Check out the 30+ 5 star reviews for this business that are "not recommended" by Yelp. read more

I went to the self salon I'm I wanted low lights the owner and the girl that did my hair decided that that wasn't going to be in my interest, they talk to me into highlights low lights to the tune of $240 sorry 60 was haircut less than a month later there's no color in my hair. That is unacceptable and they are not willing to do anything to correct the situation although I thought the girl who did my hair was a sweet girl I unfortunately will never go back. In this economy, who has the money to get their hair done only to wash it and have no color left in it. It's a sad situation. read more

Worst experience with Bri we have ever had at a salon. The salon called earlier in the day to move our daughter's appointment to 15 mins later than originally scheduled. Once there for our newly scheduled time, we waited over 20 minutes (10 of which Bri was taking pictures for their Instagram). There was no apology for being late. During the appointment it was very awkward because Bri did not talk to myself (mom) or our daughter (who is 11). For a children's haircut, which is for 11 and under for $30, we were charged $60 because Bri said our daughter "had a lot of hair." If a hair type is going to be subjective, it should say that on the website. Not to mention, a wash, trim and curl still took under 45 minutes; hardly seems worthy of $60. Bri and the other stylist in the salon seemed more interested in closing up to leave for the day. Worst bedside manner of any salon we have been to. Needless to say, me and our 3 daughters will never be back because of our experience today. read more
