Review guidelines? Boy if that don't say it all. I doubt very much so that these are even legit reviews considering I received a phonecall one day from a guy who asked if I would write a good review for these folks, he would in return, after also giving him 10 emails of people's, pay me. I think it was something like $20 for every ten emails given. I know for fact this storage is not a good place at all. I'm experiencing their poor treatment . I can't wait to clear my belongings out and move on to a much better self storage. These people will have all access to your bank accounts. ,they will then make reasons up to charge you $40 here,$15 there. Always helping themselves to your money, without first contacting you. They send themselves over to your unit, as your in it, driving back n forth, doing a whole lot of nothing, while casing your unit. Unfortunately, I have been with them for at least 3 yrs if not 4. Not one time have I received a thank you for your business, or, thanks for being a loyal costumer. It could not be lower. This company is a complete racket, raising rent whenever possible. Also, applied an "insurance" to my unit when I never received notice they needed mine. When I presented evidence my insurance was always valid, they refused to show consideration of the fact, then lied about how their insurance works and costs. Avoid if at all possible. Times are rough. These are not the people to work with though. Because they will not work with you. read more

We have had our travel trailer stored here since 2019, mind you we pay nearly $1700 a year, 2 weeks ago our large full propane tank was stolen, they will do nothing they said to call the police, that also means nothing for theft. Big warning your items are not safe in this facility from theft. read more

I've never had such a terrible experience with a storage company. 10/19 A lady from the company left me a friendly voicemail telling me that my unit wasn't locked properly. The latch had been in the open position when I put the lock on. 10/22 I went to the unit and corrected it. I put the latch into the closed position and secured it with my lock. 10/28 I received a letter in the mail that said my lock had been cut off and that a new lock had been put on at my expense. I immediately called the company thinking that a mistake had been made. I spoke with Shaun who confirmed that my lock had been cut, and that I had been charged $18 for a new lock. Shaun did not say that the unit was able to be opened, but he said that the system did not register that the latch had been closed. Any reasonable person would have tried to understand the situation fully and issue a refund. I was exceedingly polite with Shaun, but he insisted on repeatedly cutting me off when I tried to explain the situation. Shaun refused to replace the lock, or at the very least refund the lock they put on. Of course, Shaun also refused to refund prepaid rent when I offered to move out. I am 100% sure that I secured the latch as much as possible, applied my lock, and was unable to open the door. That is the sole reason that I went to the storage unit. My latch looked like every other secured latch. I am now out ~$40(which Shaun disagreed with) $22 for the lock they cut off + the $18 they charged me for "...the cheapest lock we have available." I didn't receive any notice that my lock would be cut off(they say I did), but regardless I corrected the problem after the voicemail. I'll never prepay for storage again, and I'll be taking a photo of my latch every time from now until the end of my lease. read more

reserved storage online because a move=in truck was to be provided at move in. provided move-in date during the initial paperwork. The truck was never even mentioned, i had to call about it just to find it that it would not be available at my move-in date. decided to rent a truck through u-haul, and rent a storage unit since they were so much more reliable and about half the price for the same product. Called to cancel my reservation since i hadn't even moved in, and was denied. despite not having moved in. another unbelievably horrible example of common business practices. If i had the money to spare, it wouldn't be a problem. but i don't. Their only concern was that my alternate contact information was correct so they could chase down bills. Purchased a large wardrobe box from them and then discovered I wouldn't need it. Never even took it out of the trunk. Tried to return it three days after purchase and they refused. They only take returns if you have an account with them. They ought to have a sign that says that. I have bought boxes from them before, but this was the last time. Really disappointed. read more

Just a note to the entire crew at North Foothills Drive Self Storage. You are awesome. I have never used a storage unit before and these guys have made the process very easy. Nice clean facility. Very secure and very respectful crew in the front office. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs a place to store there belongings.
