Wow! What a cool space! I love the art deco style, so walking into this incredible museum complex…read morejust gave me an almost overwhelming sense of joy. It was so beautifully built and so meticulously cared for and restored. I love that they carried the deco details throughout the entire space, including the restaurant areas. When you enter, there is a large ticketing area. They can help you with access to the main museums and for tickets to the movie theater. The staff is extremely helpful in guiding you to the right person and the individuals behind the counter are very helpful as well. I was using a reciprocal membership and once they verified Pittsburgh was far enough away (it very much is as Cincinnati is almost five hours from Pittsburgh) it was easy for them to issue us the tickets. We came specifically for the Auschwitz exhibit which was located on a lower floor. Signage was clear and there were ample staff to help guide to the appropriate location. In addition to the four museums covered by the one museum fee, this building also houses a gift shop, cafe area and the Holocaust Center (whose entrance is at the back of the space and a different ticketing system). There is a LARGE parking area in the front of the complex. It is an uncovered surface lot and on a busy day could be quite a walk to the entrance. You can, however, pull up right in front if someone from your party needs to be dropped off. I really enjoyed my time here, and will definitely be back to spend additional time in the various museums (as we were rushed because we spent so much time in the Auschwitz exhibit). If you are in the Cincinnati area, definitely make sure you visit.

The museum as a hole is very well maintained and clean. The prices are a tad expensive however compared to other museums I have been to in touristy cities. The childrens museum is the star of the show - it is so interactive and if I had kiddos I would take them here often for a day of play - even as an adult passing by I wanted to jump in the ball pit I saw.

It is worth noting this building has become an immersive art experience building. It was originally…read moreVan Gogh, but is now Monet. They control the number of people for each time slot well, and you don't feel crowded if you want to linger and read information. They have comfortable seating areas in the 360 exhibit area, and the entire "show" was probably 45 minutes before the art starts to repeat. The best part about the immersive art is that you could choose to sit through it more than once, if you wish to. There's no time limit once you are inside. I think they do a great job trying to cluster information together to help you understand the training and path, and life, journey of the artist throughout each phase of their life. it's easy to just walk up and stare at a painting. I love that they took a certain view of the parliament building and showed how the artist painted it five times throughout his lifetime and how his style and colors changed with each phase of his life. I really think they tried hard to blend and history together, which is unique. It gave me a deeper appreciation. I didn't pay attention to see if there was an elevator, but we did take a lot of stairs to get from the restrooms on the bottom floor to part of the exhibits on the first floor, and the upper floor would be where the movie viewing gallery would be where you are immersed in a 360 circle with the art. I love that they used an existing downtown building and that you can park and walk to so many restaurants and museums in the downtown Cincinnati area. We chose the Fountain Square parking garage, went to eat at Nada and walked to the Monet exhibit. We noticed on the walk that we could've also went to the contemporary art museum, which is right downtown but we were out of time. It could be a good full day of lunch and art. The building is a little chilly, I would recommend having a coat. I think it's such an older large building. It's probably very expensive to heat. This was a great girls trip day event, and everyone enjoyed it from the 20-year-olds to my mother who is in her 60s.

The immersive experience was cool and well, as advertised, it was definitely immersive. I realize the Van Gogh experience has moved on, but the Monet is running currently and I'm certain it's as good. I'll say it was worth the cost of admission, so there you have it. Whoever puts together these exhibits knows what they're doing.

Cute space but bad business…read more So my MOHs for my wedding booked this space for my bridal shower. I'll start with the pros: great overall space and the decor fit the color scheme of burgundy and gold. Now with the cons: The theme was eclectic and the designer did not deliver. Nothing about the decor was eclectic, I'm not sure she knew what that was. Check the pictures. The designer/manger SCAMMED us. We paid for an unlimited mimosa bar and sweet table and received none of it. For the mimosa bar there was only 2 bottles of champagne. What is unlimited about 2 bottles. If you brunch you know 2 bottles are gone in 6 minutes tops! Also no sweets whatsoever. My bride tribe had to find a grocery store and buy champagne and sweets. She did not give us our money back or explain her scamming ways. Finally as the event ended she was not there to lock up! Who leaves there business for their guest to lock it up. The caterer for the shower explained that this was unfortunately common behavior for the owner. So much potential with so little passion & leadership.

To make right, the owner reached out to my friend and offered her the space, free of charge, for an event of her choosing. Today, my friend used the deal to host a pop up & sip for her luxury beverage business. The venue was dirty. The tables were not cleaned after the last event, and had to be wiped down prior to the event today. The floor was sticky. The refrigerator and freezer were both dirty. The venue is in a great location and has so much potential. I wish it was better managed and taken care of. It was very kind of the owner to reach out and offer the space for free to make up for the first event, but it just seems like the venue can't get it right.
