I had 2 bedrooms painted, all the ceilings and had a wall coat holder of some sort removed and drywall fixed and ready for me to paint. I also had a door replaced too. Some of the workers were very respectful of my home and ensured that the dust from fixing the drywall was vacuumed during the process, floors and furniture protected and others didn't. I think if perhaps the owner was not pre-occupied it would have been a more successful job.

We got 3 other quotes, they were all pretty close but what set Top Notch and Brian apart were his expertise, enthusiasm, and you could really feel how much he cares about his work and his customers from the first phone call. He's very responsive and was quick to come give us a detailed estimate. He can also take a credit card which was a huge plus for us to be able to use a no interest card we have. He had some great ideas and suggestions and actually has a great carpenter on staff that replaced some of our cedar shingles that were on their way out. They also soft washed the entire house, gutters, roof everything for us! Brian helped us pick out the perfect blue for our front door that gave it a great pop of color. He also offered to repaint a big metal compass decoration that was starting to rust a little bit which was a nice treat and just goes to the level of care he has for every single job. His crew showed up by 8:30 pretty much every morning and are all really great guys. They all cleaned up after themselves and were conscientious and friendly. Their work is unbelievable, how neat and clean they kept everything. They worked very quickly but were also thorough. We just replaced all our windows with new black windows and we were a little nervous about them getting messy, but those guys are so neat and precise they all look perfect! We had a few little spots on a punch list that we noticed and they were immediately addressed with no issue or grumbling. All of his employees are incredibly skilled at their trade, but also easy to talk to and humble nice guys. We had a little misunderstanding in the beginning with the pressure washing, but Brian absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we were thrilled. Brian is the kind of business owner that will be around for a long time with a great reputation because he does the right thing, takes pride in his work, and is on site almost every day making sure things come out perfect. We are so happy we hired Top Notch Painting and would recommend him and his team for all your painting needs!

Selma and her team of two other young women went into my brothers house and literally cleaned it from ceiling to floor nonstop, no talking for 4 hours. I do not think the house had been cleaned in years. By the time they were done it was a clean house. She has a miracle vacuum that made his rugs look decent again. AND being on the Cape, especially because a lot of the summer help is rotating or temporary, I wasn't sure we would find a reliable or responsible crew. However, from the onset, (unlike the 4 other cleaning services we interviewed) Clem, the owner of E3C Services, was ready to please, highly responsive, communicative, reliable, professional and reasonable . Clem worked with us to understand our cleaning needs and remained open and flexible to accommodate - we have five different family's that use our home during the summer (all with different timelines and needs) so this was key and so appreciated! Ok ok - probably MOST IMPORTANTLY - Clem and his crew work very hard and leave your home shiny and spotless! We agreed to a five hour first time spring clean and not one surface or corner was overlooked. Clem and his crew cleaned walls, baseboards, floors, sills, objects, ceilings, inside oven , cabinets, behind furniture and of course the usual suspects - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors. Clem will bring everything including vacuum, mop, cleaning products, but will use anything you provide (which I preferred diff products etc., in some instances). So if you're looking for a reliable, friendly and great cleaner look no further!

I have always said, "No one cleans your house the way you do, so just let go of that expectation and you'll be fine." In this case I have to say - they do! They clean all the obvious stuff but they also notice things like the top of the stove hood that gets all greasy, the inside of the fridge where spills happen and it looks gross. In this house we have lots of those long cob webs that you don't notice unless you look up. They actually look up! The other day I was in the bedroom and showed my husband, "OMG! They cleaned the fan blades! No one does that." Also important to me is that the people are very friendly, use good cleaning products (not harsh chemicals) and don't have a problem with my big dogs in the house while they work. Last, Efficient Housekeeping is involved in island charities (I met the owner at one of these), which is very nice. Locally owned, woman owned and supportive of our community. Totally worth it to have them come in and clean 2-4x a month. Oh, and you can pay them with (credit card!) via PayPal.
