I'm first generation Mexican and my husband is from Brazil. We agreed we would raise our daughter speaking Spanish and Portuguese only for the first few years of her life. I spoke to her in Spanish and he spoke to her in Portuguese. We selected to enroll her in adventurous learners because of the Spanish immersion and the proximity to our home. We wanted to ensure she would be able to communicate well with teachers especially since she didn't know any English and it was the first time being taken care of by anyone else who wasn't family. We loved adventurous learners. Heloisa and her teacher aids, Alejandra and Esmeralda are great with the kids. We also loved that the school included breakfast, lunch and snacks. We didn't have to worry about ensuring she ate before drop off and packing lunches in the morning. Eloisa made nutritious meals for the kids. My daughter enjoyed the food there. We built a nice community with the children and their parents. The kids would get excited to attend each other's birthday parties and celebrate in school as well.
