Drove an hour and a half one way to buy two Honda Navi's. Advertised on their website $1,807 plus $200 destination and $100 freight. So I was expecting a total of around $4500. Salesman quoted me $7100 for both. Obviously I'm like WTF?? He says they charge $980 PER BIKE for "freight and assembly. THATS MORE THAN 50% OF THE ENTIRE PRICE OF THE BIKE! Highly recommend this is establishment when you're dealing with vintage dirt bikes, you wanna deal with people that know what they're talking about. call the Kawasaki dealer in Daytona Beach Dude told me it was $84 for the bolt called this place Seminole Powersports they confirmed that the bolt and nut is $10..... it's not so much the separation of difference of price it's just the mere experience level of dealing with Tru professionals who, either work on bikes, know about the bikes, road bikes when they were kids somehow have strong knowledge of bikes, not just people answering the phone that don't have a clue on what you want... enclosing I found Jimbo and the service manager extremely professional and knowledgeable. I recently had my headlights and fog lights upgraded to Hi intensity LED on my 2006 Honda Goldwing. I contacted Joe and his crew installed the LED headlights and did an excellent Job! Now I can see further at night and can see a lot more and I have noticed other vehicle notice me more, which is awesome for safety. I took my yamaha vstar 950 there cause it would not start. They said it was a starter relay so they put a new in. Got my bike after 4 weeks, went for ride & got about 50 ft & my bike lost all power. Called seminole powersports & they said I didn't mention that happening when I dropped I off. I said that has never happened before til you guys replaced the starter relay. I wanna know what the hell they did to my bike but they won't give me no answers. What a great experience!!! I brought my 2015 GTI 130 in for service the week of 4th of July weekend and they were able to finish it up before the holiday. The staff was very courteous and professional. The unit fouled some plugs due to a bad battery and was fixed quickly. The tech that called me to tell me to tell me it was ready went above and beyond to explain what the issues were and patiently listened to my explanation of events. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a dealership. Rude, smug, and unhelpful. I went with my son to look at a couple of different bikes they had in stock, which was the only reason why we went to this particular dealer. After spending about an hour looking at the different bikes, my son wanted to buy a rather rare (but new) bike. We found a salesperson and said we wanted to talk to him about purchasing a specific bike they had. He asked which one, and then said he would come back with a "out the door number". He returned with a hand-written number on the same sheet as the personal information he asked us for. I was surprised by the significant markup of the price. I get there is tax, title, and registration. Even allowing for that the price was much higher than it should be. I asked him for a breakdown of the amount. He quoted some vague numbers for different amounts. I asked for a print out of the breakdown for each of the costs. He said "They don't like to do that." After some more convincing on my part that I really wanted to see a full list of charges, he reiterated that they generally don't do that, but that he "would ask". I said that if they wanted to sell the bike, I wanted to see that information. He rolled his eyes at me, smirked like he was extremely annoyed, and left. He returned a few minutes later with a printout. When I reviewed the prices, I immediately was concerned about several over charges, especially the delivery/freight/setup fee which was 17% of the purchase price. What Seminole Powersport North did not know was that my son also works for motorcycle dealership. That "fee" is just pure profit for them. Just because, for no other reason. This salesperson was adamant that because of covid and supply chain issues, they must this amount. Not only do I know better, he was just being difficult with us because we made him get a printout. From that point forward, his attitude toward us did not improve. I asked for that "fee" to be lowered and he refused. He would not go ask anyone else if it could be lowered. Maybe there is a policy there that sales people cannot ask, maybe the dealership has told them there are no price reductions, or maybe he was being spiteful. I don't know for sure. Not only was he unwilling to give us $0.01 less that what he quoted, when I asked them to include a (low-end) helmet for that same amount, he said "we don't do that". I turned to my son to ask his approval to go forward with the sale (it was his money being spent), and he said he wanted that particular bike. While we waited for a while for the bike to be prepped, my son also bought a jacket. We eventually left, with my son riding the bike Fast forward 5 days, and my son tells me that the chain on his new bike is VERY loose. He also told me the jacket was uncomfortable and he only wore it for about 30 minutes on the ride home from the dealership. Because his days off and Sunday/Monday, I told him to drive to the dealership, return the jacket and have them tighten the chain. He got there and called me saying they would not help him in any way. First, they refused to return the jacket because it was in "unsellable condition". When asked what they meant, they said that the jacket had been worn. The jacket looks exactly like it did when we bought it. No scuffs, scrapes, dirt, marks, etc. It is 100% exactly as they sold it. They also told him they would not adjust his chain because they just don't have the time. This is a safety issue, and they cannot be bothered to take 10 minutes to fix it? I promise to tell every single biker I meet not to shop there. Not just for vehicles, but also parts, service, and accessories. The arrogance of the dealership is unlike anything I have every seen. I also ride motorcycles, and will publish this review to all forums I am a member of. To Seminole Powersports North -- your move. Just bought my second PWC. A 2021 SeaDoo RXT-X 300 from Dan Brown. It has been a delight to work with them. Always communicating on the status of the order. Dan answered all my questions and helped me with all the details and options. They went above and beyond when they were able to source the PWC just in time for the weekend. Dan took the time to explain every feature. He also invited me to the demo tour from SeaDoo. Service department is excellent. The trailer setup was easy. Took our KX 65 and all the replacement parts in to be serviced and to replace the clutch. It took them six weeks to service the bike. We picked up the bike and after only two races, the clutch quit working. When we called Seminole Powersports north they told us there was only a 30 day warranty on the work that they did. We took it to amother Powersports dealer Because we didn't have six weeks and another $3500 to waste. They opened up the clutch and said that it was burnt up and not installed correctly. Every time we've taken our dirt bikes they are to be serviced. They have come back with no oil, no radiator fluid and they take forever. read more

Not sure about sales or service, but I can tell you that if you are looking for accessaries, this is the place to go. If it us not in stock, they can get it in a mater of a day or so. The counter staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They were able to get gear the "other" dealers said they could not get. They do not try to talk you into something in stock to make it easier on them. I highly recommend that department. read more

I have had nothing but bad experiences at this dealership. Everytime that I've gotten a tire put on, front or rear, there have been issues. Last time, my rear was put on at an angle and they stripped the bolt on my Gilles chain adjusters. My chain wound up getting torn up by the sprockets. Brought it up to them and I got blown off. No way they did anything wrong. I now have a messed up chain adjuster (that cost me a pretty penny), had to get a new front sprocket because the edges of the teeth were getting chipped away, and it took forever to cleanup all the metal shavings that were covering my swingarm. Definitely wasn't their fault though! Of course not! Today. Got a new front tire put on. There's no way they can mess up the front, right? Wrong. Tire slipped out from under me in the parking lot. There are fingerprints and splatter marks on the sidewall. Only on the section that slipped. I have been riding for quite a number of years. Including 3 out in Italy (their roads are oil based and a hell of a lot more slippery than anything here in the U.S.). I was only using the clutch, barely made it 40ft, and went up one of the lanes towards the road. As I was making the turn the tire slid. The tire didn't buckle under or rip the handlebars, it slid. I was doing maybe 2-5mph with no gas just clutch. Their response? You need to take it easy on new tires. Showed them the splatter marks and finger prints. "Oh that's nothing. Not our fault.There's nothing on the tire." Champions has had a history of messing up on bikes that go through service. I have no doubt that there was something on the tire. Soap, oil, whatever. It probably just got worn off when the tire slid. If this had happened down the road because I took a turn too fast/hard then I would have no problem. But, their attitude and response has me beyond pissed. I now have torn fairings, a broken rear brake lever (also Gilles, quite expensive), a massive headache from slamming my head on the pavement (helmet was on, thankfully), and slight road rash. I didn't even get an apology. Nothing. I have no idea what the heck is wrong with their service department, but they need to get their crap sorted. I live paycheck to paycheck. Trying to sell my bike as well, and this is not helping in any way. So thank you Champions. You have made my life a little more crappy. read more

Visited this dealership this past weekend which was a was of my time. Pre-scheduled a test ride and communicated with the sales rep before my arrival. Once I arrived I was told I could not test ride the new bike or a newer demo which did have gas and fluids demonstrated by the sales rep when he cranked the bike up. Instead I was ask to test ride a raggedy broken down trade that they had sitting outside. I addition they wasted my time by acting as if they were trying to work a deal leaving us standing around for an hour while the sale rep dipped snuff and talked to the other sales rep. Do not shop here and if you do break down the numbers they are quoting you and you will find out this place is trying to take advantage of customers by inflating the price with junk fees before taking the trade in value off read more

Beware! They use unscrupulous, high pressure sales tactics. We were ready willing and able to buy a Honda motorcycle and asked for a test drive. They said they would only give us one if we sat down with them and agreed to a contract and a price first! This is highly irregular. We are not only seasoned humans, but also motorcycle owners (we've owned 3 Hondas, a Harley, and a BMW). We've never been subjected to such tactics. read more

Every other time we've been here there has been no issues, the employees are usually helpful and courteous, in the parts section at least. Had the bike serviced here before, no problems and it was finished on time. This time was different, bike took 10 days to be finished from the day it was promised, we had to call them to find out what was going on, A jet was "missing" in the carb, and when we had a problem, management would get verbally aggressive. They know how to service your bike but have no customer service. This whole problem could have been alleviated by actually communicating with us about what service was needed for the bike and just keeping us updated. If you want to drop your bike off here and don't care about how you're treated or knowing when it will be done, then leave your bike here. I for one wont come here for service again. read more

Purchased a scooter / motorcycle from this dealership in January of this year (2013). Salesman was great but everything else that happened afterwards I would have expected from a buy here pay here type of establishment, not a place owned by the Don Mealey chain of car dealerships. I had an accident on the bike in March and took it to the dealership for repairs. I had a few places to choose from but my insurance company and I decided on having Champions service it. That is when things went south. I don't want to drone on here because the conversations with the main office and with Richard Mealey (Don Mealey's son) who oversees this dealership could go on for ever. Here's my opinion of this organization and its management: Lacking in all areas of customer service after the sale. Lured into thinking you're part of a family and then treated like the neighbors kid. I guess as long as they have your money they don't need to care any more. Sad to see things going this way with more and more businesses. read more

I recently bought a used bike from Seminole power sports The salesman was terrific. After the fact, which is my fault I was examining the sales contract and noticed a fee for freight. The bike was traded in at the dealership where I took possession. When I contacted management about the unwarranted fee. He was less than helpful. I went on to explain that my daughter-in-law who teaches business law at a university admonished me about not carefully looking at the contract. Her advice was to reach out to management to see if they would make an adjustment absent their cooperation small claims court is the only avenue left. The gentlemen I was talking to on the phone told me that once the word attorney was mentioned he had nothing more to say after which he went on a tirade quoting state and federal law part of which is nonexistent. So the bottom line is caveat emptor. As I read other reviews I see a disturbing pattern with their business practices. Minutes after I posted this review another person from management contacted me with an entirely different prospective. He bent over backwards to address my complaint and made the adjustment I had ask for. He made it clear that he was a business professional who recognizes the importance of ethics. read more

JOEY took care of us and was a blessing. He had great product knowledge and wasn't like your typical "sales" guy. He treated me and my wife with respect and wasn't a burden on us as far as pressuring us to do something. Champions got our business because they employ sales guys like Joey. Joey introduced us to the service and parts department and they have a great team running that store and I will not go anywhere else.
