We wanted to purchase two clones for camping and yes I could of easily purchased online from one of the importers for less but as a former 40 year brick and morter business owner in a similar industry I wanted to both support a local shop and also have a good relationship with the owners when and if I needed service or parts. OK, We purchased (2) units for over $4000.00 and paid in full. We were told it should take about a week, but we also had a hurricane hit the higher Florida region so we figured maybe a couple more days. After the week and a couple days we called the company and I did not get an email back. I found this site and after reading some of the many "issues" people had I began to think I may be another in the making. I made two mre emails, both very direct, with intentions to cancle the order via our charge card. Hillary, whom I never met came back and told my wife that they will be shipped that or the next day and she will then send us a confirmation, we both agreed for a total of 3 more days. The third day Hillary emailed us the confirmation, and then followed up with a phone call. I felt 100% better! Problem today is we are being scammed on almost every level and we have lost trust in those abroad and more sadly those domestic. Our motorcycles arrived yesterday as promised in crates as I opted to build them being in the industry prior. Hillary told me that the trucking company failed to pick them up from the distributor, and that she had broke her arm when I had sent to emails and was in the hospital. Of course I felt bad for the direct emails, but again after reading all of the negatives prompted this, in my case it was just wrong timing. I hope in other cases that left bad reviews that your reviews are honest and that you allowed time for the issues to be evaluated and corrected in a timely mannor. I know for a fact how difficult it is not only to deal with these importers today both with shipping but also with the companies who import them, who at times pick and choose who gets shipped first. I am only leaving 4 stars instead of 5 not to hold anything against the company but to be fair to them and all who wrote here. I have been to thier company, it is for real, they have a nice building and a showroom with several cycles on display and accessories. They may not have what you want in stock like in my case, but they did give me a discounted price and they did have them shipped direct to my home, I live about 100 miles from them, and now I have a place where I can feel comfortable to do business with again. I ordered a very expensive item on Sunday. No email confirmation, no info about my product. However, they took the $600 out of my account. I emailed 5 times and called 5 times, finally getting ahold of them on Wednesday. Tina who answered the phone was very rude, kept cutting me off and telling me to "let her speak" and was very argumentative the entire phone call. I asked about my order and why I haven't gotten a confirmation. She stated that the "order was cancelled a long time ago because the item was out of stock." But they allowed me to order and took my money? They also tried arguing that I got a cancellation email, which I did not get until after my final phone call. I am still waiting on my refund. The only thing EXTREME about Extreme Motor Sales is their EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased a moped from here for my daughter's graduation. I financed it through whoever they work with. I paid the down payment and waited. Then the craziness began. 1. I asked when I should expect it, they said we are telling everyone 30 days but honestly it should be much quicker than that. We will let you know an exact date and a tracking number in a couple days. It's been 3 weeks and I have not heard from them. 2. I have called and left possibly 20-30 messages and no one responds. 3. I have sent maybe 10 emails and no one replies. 4. My husband has called and emailed probably a total of 10 times and he has not gotten any responses either. 5. When we got all the way then I and I looked it over I realized that the financing percentage percentage was absolutely astronomical so we left them messages to cancel the financing and we would just pay cash. No response. 6. The finance company called yesterday and said my first payment is due in a week. I said my first payment I haven't even received the product and I don't want it at this point where I don't want it financed. The financing company told me that this ex³treme motor sales would have to be the one that canceled the financing. 7. I called and left 3 voice mails yesterday and my husband left 1. No response. 8. I called today and left 3 messages on 3 different extensions. No response. I have never dealt with a company as unprofessional as Extreme Motor Sales. Their website claimed they had the trike that I wanted so I put in the order and now the charge is Pending in my bank account and the money is in Pending Limbo but now they claim they do NOT have the trike I ordered and that since there is no trike, that they do not have a Pending Charge placed on my bank account and they REFUSE to cancel the order so that the money will be released. They acknowledged my request that evening by asking what I needed, but didn't notify my until 10:30 Monday night that they wouldn't meet me. They really had an unhelpful tone, and it was clear that my need wasn't lucrative enough for them. As I tried to continue the conversation and determine how we could move forward, they ended the Facebook messenger conversation so that I was unable to comment further....They digitally hung up on me in the middle of a conversation. NEVER shop there. Sales rep gave my husband wrong size helmet when it didn't fit my grandson we called to return it. She gave us a song and a dance about them not accepting returns on helmet even though they gave my husband the wrong size. He told them it was for a 5 year old. Trying to do business with this place after you purchase a 4 wheeler is impossible. Save your time and aggravation shop else where. To top things off they sold my husband a 4 wheeler for a 5 year old and he told them at the time his age. So how does a XL helmet fit a 5 year old??? When I told her this she said they would have never sold the bike if they had known. Well I drove a hour each way today to come to this business to look at a advertised Honda CT70 clone on there web page. They showed they had 37 in stock on there web page. (Just pulled it up again an now it shows 1 which I know they dont have there) We pulled up and seen very few motorized vehicles out in front. I went inside and they had about 40 items ranging from very small scooters to small quads. After about 5 minutes a woman came out from the back. I asked where the CT70's are? She told me they dont have any on property. I told her thats not what it showed on there web page. She told me I should have called before I came and that all those CT70's are at there factory in Georgia. WTF? I came with a pickup truck and cash in my pocket. No CT70's = NO SALES.......Dont waste your time here! I tried to patronize the home team but it looks like XTM Motorsports in Utah here I come. read more
