There are 10 individually decorated units across two floors that are just wonderful places to rest, relax, and refresh while visiting the area. I've had the good fortune to stay in two of the rooms and found them both to be very clean and well appointed. From a mini fridge and microwave to queen size beds with television (optional to use) in each room and rain head showers that are large enough for two. There are also backlit heated mirrors that round out the accommodations. The property host on site parking per unit and is located within blocks of everything you want to do while in Little Washington, literally you park your car and walk all weekend. It's wonderful. There is a wonderful little coffee shop downstairs next-door, which also serves as the registration area and the launchpad for golf cart rentals and coffee and pastries to begin your days treasure hunt of opportunities!

Interesting and distinctive place to stay in Washington, NC. It is on a main intersection in the…read moremiddle of town, right on the primary business street and about a block back from the riverfront. There are six rooms on two floors above a street-level bistro and bar. There are stairs and an elevator, and no on-site staff, so entry is by a code punched into a keypad on the doors. All rooms seem to be a little different -- I stayed in 303, on the top floor furthest back from the main street. I think that would probably be the quietest, but there was still some street noise from delivery trucks coming to the intersection below. The room is aesthetically pleasing, with darker blue color saturation on the walls highlighting a big four-poster bed and very tall windows. The window coverings were a little frustrating -- they were hard to manage and didn't close all the way. The main window had a brass hook on either side to hold them open for light, but the other two windows didn't, so it was hard to adjust the amount of light. I was also not a fan of the television, which was one of those things that all apps so you can't just turn it on and watch the news or whatever. There's also somewhat limited seating other than the bed -- there was a chair with ottoman in a narrow nook, which is fine for one person, but a second would have to sit on one of the unpadded wooden chairs at the small table. The kitchen area had a long countertop with sink and basic dishware and glassware, with drawer-style beverage cooler and refrigerator that worked well. (Ice would be via the ground-floor bar when open.) The bathroom was a good size and had Native toiletries and solid water volume with overhead spray plus a handheld wand. The HVAC worked well at keeping the room temperate. It's definitely distinctive and atmospheric and beats the pants of chain hotels in the area.
