It is also right by Funtastic Island. While it is great to have this sports facility available to us, it definitely has room for improvement. The number one issue is parking. When there are so many games going on, the entire place is full to its limit, sometimes beyond that. This creates another issue: safety. Getting in and out of the facility is very difficult and potentially dangerous as people walk back to their vehicles. I often think that if there is an emergency, it would be extremely hard to get an ambulance in there. Another thing that could be improved is signage. The fields have small numbers by them but it is hard to identify them and they are not big enough to be seen from afar. This results in having to walk a lot before being able to find the correct field. I'm always up for a nice walk, but when you're running short on time, it just results in being frustrated by it. Aside from that, it's a great sports facility!

On a recent Saturday the roofed plaza held the farmers marketer for produce and merchandise vendors. The stage on the park's opposite side had a dozen residents practicing yoga. In between was a grassy area. A water element occasionally shot up fountains in which toddlers splashed. There's no playground but an area has percussion instruments for striking a tune. Restrooms and street parking available.
