The trainers here are friendly and are very good about modifying exercises for those that need more/less intensity. Also, they're diligent about coming by to correct my form (which I need). Those with physical injuries/impairments would benefit most from their small group training sessions (included in my trial membership). Small group training is a bit more personalized and tailored to the needs of the 4-5 participants. Tulsa Fitness Systems also offers personal training. On their website, it says they have some kind of program to improve your golf game? I think this would make a great Christmas gift for my boyfriend! They take credit cards. Plenty of parking. Cons: wish it was closer to my home or work, but totally worth the drive. I'm not crazy about all the running (not really that much, I just HATE running). You can get away with less than good course management but you are rewarded for hitting smart shots off the tee box. Fairways were in good shape. Greens were in pretty good shape but you can tell people don't fix their ball marks. Fix your ball marks people!!!!!!!! Also the bunkers were some of the nicest and best maintained I've seen in a while. The twilight rate was good. 34 with a cart on a nice course is better than average value. Golf carts have gps as well. I will play this course again.

It is also right by Funtastic Island. While it is great to have this sports facility available to us, it definitely has room for improvement. The number one issue is parking. When there are so many games going on, the entire place is full to its limit, sometimes beyond that. This creates another issue: safety. Getting in and out of the facility is very difficult and potentially dangerous as people walk back to their vehicles. I often think that if there is an emergency, it would be extremely hard to get an ambulance in there. Another thing that could be improved is signage. The fields have small numbers by them but it is hard to identify them and they are not big enough to be seen from afar. This results in having to walk a lot before being able to find the correct field. I'm always up for a nice walk, but when you're running short on time, it just results in being frustrated by it. Aside from that, it's a great sports facility!

The Center is actually a paralympic sports club which is what got my attention originally, but there is so much more here at thr Center. There is something for everyone whatever your goals and interests are. One of my passions is powerlifting and aside from a variety of machines to work on they do not offer a powerlifting program yet. I am hoping this will change for they are rapidly adding new sports all the time. Most recently adaptive cycling and wheelchair curling were added to the reportoire this semester.They also have a paralympic skill builders program which focuses on introducing several different new sports such as archery, wheelchair rugby and badminton, as well as some pre-existing ones such as wheelchair basketball and tennis! There are adult members here of all age ranges....come check it out!! My rating will be a perfect score for me when the powerlifting is ever added, but I am glad to be a member and invite others to come visit and see what is here for you.
