What a cute place! I was visiting a friend from Le Mars during the week and she was sure to take me to her favorite local cafes. This was our first stop for lunch. Let me just say that looks can be deceiving. In particular the facade of this place is misleading, because inside it's nice and cozy and extremely inviting. The seating area is lovely, and there are a few comfy sections with cozy leather furniture and dark wood bookshelves stocked with books. There are booths and tables, too, to more easily enjoy a meal if you're not just reading and sipping on coffee. I had a bread boat with cheese soup and a special-flavored coffee for around $5. Not too shabby! I wish we had more places like this in Los Angeles! I'd love to come back if I'm in town again. read more

Bellissimo makes one of the BEST Soy Sugar-Free Lattes. I appreciate too, that they support my lazy mornings- they've kindly provided a drive-thru. Then again, I'd get out of my car any morning (including the -30 F days) to get a latte here. In addition to killer coffee they are connected to a confectionary, which sells sweet treats. This friendly place makes a fantastic latte and hands down the best cinnamon rolls ever! Their staff knows their way around an expresso machine and the baked goods made there are yummy. They have some tasty gluten free friendly items, though they are prepared where there is wheat. so they do not advertise them as GFs. Newcomers and visitors get the same excellent welcoming service as the locals. Clean and nicely decorated too. We love this place and their wonderful staff. read more

This place is great! It is a hidden little gem in a hidden little town. The coffee was significantly better and a lot of the mainstream coffee places that I've grown accustomed to living in Atlanta. I absolutely adore this little shop! Over the last six years it has been my go-to when I've lives in Le Mars or when I'm in town. The staff are always friendly and great at remembering your usual drink ! The new location is unique and interesting! Who would have thought a tattoo shop and coffee shop could share space??? (Don't worry folks, the tat room is completely separated from the dinning area) The homey feel of the décor is relaxing and inviting. As for the baked goods, yummy! Stopped here in the drive thru got a cup of coffee. It was ok, price was a little high for what I got. Maybe person making it was not used to making coffee because what I got was very weak. Will go back one more time to see if it gets any better. read more

Bellisimo makes wonderful coffee, bakery and lunch items. The service is extremely customer oriented, to the point where the sraff has the regular customers' order preferences memorized. There is never a long wait for coffee, and if you are in a rush you can call ahead and they will have your order waiting for you. The entire restaurant, including restrooms is extremely clean.
