Then offered assistance which i declined. I was offered assistance at least once or twice by every associate, 5 times in total. It was a little annoying because it had only been maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Prices are pretty average to reasonable. I was happy with my selections but the vibe was weird. In the past I had much more comfortable interactions but this last one almost made me walk out empty handed. I purchased to rechargeable products and a piece on lingerie which I am satisfied with. Used to love coming here with my partners, but in the past 6 months or so there seems to have been some staffing & procedural changes that have made me consider other businesses. Being IDed upon entry doesn't bother me at all and I definitely wouldn't want the store in any legal trouble because of that, but I find it difficult to browse casually when being very transparently tailed by employees and asked if I need help/am finding everything alright/etc every few minutes. I've worked retail and there are ways to be proactive about loss prevention that don't have customers glancing over their shoulders constantly and feeling like they're being treated as potential suspects rather than... customers. Especially in an environment where some patrons may be uncomfortable or anxious, one would hope that management would emphasize discretion and discourage "hovering". Even though the products are reasonably priced, I (and other reviewers) definitely feel disincentivized to look around and maybe spend more than we intended to initially because of feeling hounded. read more

I went into the store early this morning after having to visit another store nearby. There were a few things I was curious about. Prices are on the high side, but that's the price for "gettin your kicks" right? I haven't seen too much costumes or sexy heels lately... used to be one of the very few stores you could find those. UPDATE: Management reached out to me and asked what happened, what the product was, followed up with the manufacturer, got back to me and let me know there is a product warranty for a year. She very kindly offered to replace the product in store when they get the next shipment in, or I can go direct to the manufacturer via the warranty. How unfortunate that the woman I shopped with said she IS a manager, and trying to go above her will result in the same response of nothing could be done after the 14 day period.
