Easy Moving Calgary came all the way to Saskatoon to move us to Cochrane, and stored our things while we renovated our new home. They showed up in Saskatoon on time, packed us with more care and caution than I would have done myself. Always smiling, a team of three worked hard and were so careful with all of things especially our home. Absolutely no damage to anything, and I mean anything, especially the walls - no marks or smudges. Today, they arrived to move us in to our new home, and the experience was fantastic! My new place was a 10 minute walk away. They arrived, found parking and began unloading at 5:38. We had missed my reserved elevator at this point and had to make do. At 8:20 i began assisting with unloading boxes (I'm a 51 year old woman). At 8:45 the person who booked this (Mo) walked in all smiles. Excuses were made for why it wasn't his guys fault. I "had too much stuff." I "didn't have an elevator booked." He was "nice enough to come down and help. " He "didn't have to do that." The move was finally completed at 9:20 pm. 9 hours and 50 minutes. No accountability. No urgency. Inefficient. Dismissive of women. I paid $1092 for a move that cost me $757 last time.

However, I suggest that they should have read the contract before signing it. In the end, people who sign contracts are responsible to read and know for themselves what they are signing. Even if it takes a long time to read through the legal jargon, we should all read contracts, ask questions for clarification, and then, if we agree, sign them. I know this can be a lengthy process, but it is the only way to know for sure what you are getting yourself into.

Because usually they prorate the amount they owe you back prior to you paying your last bill..... Yeaaaa OK Sentinel, great job punishing customers who pay on time and up front. Worst company ever. To top things off the lady at this location referred me to a manager who I left a msg with explaining my situation and she hasn't even called me back (do much for regional manager Gena doing her job). My friend did pay and picked up 1/2 my stuff but I had to leave half my unit there because not enough room and did reassure its okay. I was planning on going back to get the other half another trip without her knowing about it because I didn't want to worry her about it but I underestimated how much it would cost to go from province to another with the cost of everything. My bed, sewing fabric and other items i was using for craft projects (making a indoor gardening stand). I did call when I couldn't afford it (used all my savings that I wasn't using for college and kept paying for a couple months which lead me to being homeless now) and signed everything I could for abandoning it and now I'm getting calls that its no longer valid or not enough days have passed and the amount of days changed a couple of times and was told to call a certain day and the manager is not even there. they were very adamant about the online review and did give them a good review but now I wouldn't recommend them, It feels like they were waiting for the google review first and the calls are constant reminder of what I'm losing which may not be much to ppl but it was the 1st mattress I could afford (I've always been part of the poorest of the poor even when working 2 jobs and about 16 hrs a day. so a 15inch memory foam mattress that I spent a couple years saving up for and losing may not seem like alot to other but it was my 1st item I spoiled myself with and each call is a horrible reminder of what I'm losing!!!. *Im still dealing with this so ill update with the results!* *Results* THANK YOU GINA, CALVIN, TAMARA, DUPSY and BETTY!!! you guys are amazing and have been amazing (this doesn't feel like a strong enough word!!!)
