You either get bombarded by employees asking if you need any help to nobody being around at all if you have a question. I was in this particular location recently. You have many different brands to chose from but the employees are always trying to sell Sephora products. I say this with complete understanding that it's normal to do so. Hence the name. But seriously Sephora products are a waste of money. Even if they are less expensive than the other name brands. Example...Eye liner. It smears every time I put it on. They have good colors but whether it's the regular eye liner or the liquid ones, they are awful. DO the employees make commission off what they sell? I think so!! So why bother with the Sephora brand?? Even the lip liners are a joke. read more

I paid for a one hour session to learn smoky eye because the YouTube tutorials I tried made my older one look like she went 3 rounds with her palette and lost. Stephanie was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She broke down every step and answered every question no matter how dumb. She was also incredibly patient with my 10 year old who now needs it and could barely keep still in the chair. She wasn't allowed to use my daughter's personal makeup and that's ok. She did use a palette that had similar colors to hers and pointed out which ones go where. I am incredibly grateful with how professional and knowledgeable she was. read more

I setup a makeup appointment with Daria and she did amazing!! I did it for my birthday for fun and got so many compliments on my makeup. It photographed so well too! By far the best Sephora experience I have ever had! The store itself is in the Belmar shopping area which is super cute & the parking isn't to bad! The staff were very kind and the cashier, I believe her name was Stephanie was so amazing, she even convinced me to apply for the Sephora Card! I love this location and the store is beautiful! However, all 3 times I've been here they were extremely low on stock in pretty much everything. The things I went there for they were missing or only had 2 shades/colors of. So, i went to look for other options and explore purchasing something new but, again, they were out of stock of nearly every shade only having 1-2 options of shades that weren't my match (this was for concealer, lip gloss, lip stick, and bronzer sticks and creams). The staff is pretty nice here but I've been in Sephora's where I feel more comfortable. The people working there range from either not caring to being way too pushy and aggressive. Instead of the lady pressuring me to order all of the things I want through her (online) I'd rather just go to a fully stocked store. If I wanted to order online I'd do that from home. If you're looking for something specific I'd recommend calling beforehand to see if they even have it so you don't waste a trip. read more

I went into Sephora today and asked for a color match for my daughter. The lady told me to be five minutes and then she just started helping everybody that was walking in the door just left us standing there. I asked to another worker she said give her just a second 45 minutes later we still have nobody helping us. They are very rude and they don't care about customer service. I was greeted at the door and I said hello and kept walking because I was trying to make it a quick stop and did not want help. She then followed me and forced me to take her promotional paper. I then was looking at the brand I came in for and she came and greeted me again not two minutes later. I told her we already spoke and didn't need anything. She then stood a few feet away from the rest of the time I was there and just watched me while I was looking. While I was checking out the girl who was checking me out was very polite, but again the same lady that greeted me was assisting in a return at the resister next to me and so I assume she was a manager. She was very rude to the lady trying to return and was not helpful at accommodating her what so ever. She needs to learn better customer service, she was awful. read more

Color me impressed, Sephora! After being forced to visit the Cherry Creek Sephora for years, I typically avoided shopping in store and shopped exclusively online. If you've ever been, you know that particular location is always a madhouse. It's always packed, the check out line is always a mile long, and if you need help color matching a foundation ... forget about it. There is no need to subject yourself to that location any more! The new Belmar location is huge, with tons of options - and, bonus, the staff are so helpful. Maybe too helpful, if that's a thing. The only thing I would maybe not recommend is getting your makeup done here. I don't want to use any names, because the stylist was so sweet, but I left the store with a full face of cakey, unblended makeup, with two completely different - super thick lined - winged eyes. It was a bummer, after spending an hour in a chair, I had to run home to fix my makeup before my event. I also should have thought about this - since they use the tester products throughout the store - you are subject to whatever germs the dozens of people who have touched the product through its life on the shelf. I've never had a cold sore in my life and I had two pop up after getting my makeup here. That being said, use your digression if you get your makeup done here. But otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the store for general shopping. You won't be disappointed! read more

So incredibly happy there is a Sephora closer to where I live with quick access! So unimpressed with a few things with this location. I am a makeup, skincare, Sephora lover! I am a Rouge member and have shopped with Sephora a long time. I enjoy the knowledge of the staff and the difference from Ulta in that they don't try and sell you something they know nothing about. When I went to this Sephora location last was a mid afternoon trip and there were at least 10 staff on in this small location. I literally walked in knowing what I wanted and got hounded by 5 different staff members about what I was looking for and if I needed help. Like, just let me grab what I want and explore and possibly buy more. Don't follow me like I'm going to steal something or like you need to push me to buy something I did not even come in for or need. It's mid day. I'm running errands. I just wanted to grab what I wanted and out, not a lecture on other products or for a different staff member interrupting me as I'm looking at and testing product. This experience has turned me off of this location because I want to come here for convenience and clearly can't just run in for what I want without feeling like I'm at an Ulta or used car lot with sales. read more

I had Covid, so I sent someone else to go pick up an order that I had prepared. I put their name and email as the alternative for pick up and I sent them a screenshot of the order number and the part where it says that they can pick up the order. when the person I sent to the store got there, they were met with an awful attitude and impatience about being met with an alternate pick up. I ordered one item for pick up that I knew they had in stock at 4:55 and at 6:25, 2 1/2 hours later the order was still not ready. And instead of saying oh I'm so sorry we've been busy today. That order isn't ready. Let me go grab it for you really quickly. She told them well it's not ready, so no wonder I can't find you. for anyone curious the pick up time is within two hours of when you place the order and the alternate pick up had their email and their name attached to the order and was able to provide the order number the email that I got most recently about the order, and an ID and their email which again was attached to the order. read more

Seriously cannot believe this happened. Ok, they close at 8. I showed up at 7:58. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted...a $140 bottle of perfume. Door were still open. Yes, I know if was close to closing time, but not like I wanted to browse. I walked in, told the girl EXACTLY what I wanted, and she said NO! Yes, she actually turned down a $140 purchase. WTF? I came in for the new HUDA Mercury Retro Retrograde pallet! My husband wanted to buy it for me! The girl at the front let me know about a promotion they had going on for spending $75 and with the pallet I was almost there! My husband and I were shopping around and I grabbed the pallet from him to try and match it up to some other items! Serena, the manager, went up to my husband and started to mildly harass him about where the pallet was and if he changed his mind! He told her his wife (me) had it, which I did! She proceeded to stare at the items in his basket and even came over to check if I had it! I understand that you have to be cautious, however, when you are harassing people who are in there spending money, it becomes an issue! He purchased the pallet and a Dior lipgloss for me and expressed his concern saying, "I am going to buy products here even though you were profiling and harassing me!" She never once apologized even after he expressed his concern! If you are a man shopping for your wife do not go to this Sephora! You will be profiled and made to feel like an idiot when you are trying to spend your money there! read more
