I had a nail appointment with Jennifer but Holly prepped my nails since she still had to finish the last appointment. I have natural nails and get dip powder. Holly was extremely rough with the most abrasive drill and BROKE two of my natural nails in half. She drilled the hell out of my other nails too while removing my last set. I'm gonna have to use extensions on those two nails until they grow out. My nails shouldn't burn from all the drilling. They'll rather damage your nails there with all the drilling instead of spending a bit more money on foil for removing product. Jennifer's design came out pretty but ultimately it was not worth it due to all of the damage they caused my natural nails. I will not be returning here. read more

I noticed pieces of bright colored nails in the parking lot the first visit and wondered how that might have happened. someone dropped the trash maybe? The next time I saw a tech bring a towel and shake it out in the parking lot! Disgusting! Peoples clipped off real and fake nails can have all kinds of germs and fungus. If that garbage winds up in someone's sandal or shoe, hello infection! Why on earth would they not use a trash receptacle? What other unsanitary things are not considered by a group that finds that acceptable to do? Spend the money on some trash bags for heavens sake. YUCK. I wish I had taken a pic. I've been living in Colorado for 3 years and I've NEVER gone to another nail shop. There are some seriously talented nail techs at Vogue! Lin gives the best pedicure I've ever had hands down, I always book with her. She's detail oriented, thorough, and personable. I've never left this nail shop feeling unsatisfied with my nails or their customer service. I believe I have been a loyal customer here, even buying gift cards and paying ahead for my parents and sons. They are a little overpriced and a little rude (I thought it was a translation thing) but some of them do a good job. There are just sometimes it doesn't feel right to be taken advantage of. Like my parents for their 55th Anniversary I gifted them services from this place and sent them on their own, well they were charged extra and said they asked for more services than what I paid for. I've been going to this place since it opened, back in 2008 or even earlier. I highly recommend this place as long as you make a reservation with either Tanya or Jenny. They are the only two workers there who know how to do long nails. I've had many different people do my nails there and they're never good. I've never had a single complaint with Tanya, she is simply AMAZING at what she does. I highly, highly recommend her or Jenny only. Okay, Julie really popped off on my nails. She was giving me so many options for the picture I had referenced and I felt very well taken care of. She cared about matching all the glitters and she was just very precise on making sure she incorporated everything I wanted. They came out better than the picture I showed her. I love them and I will definitely be coming back I think I finally found my salon. Also, I got long acrylic ombré glitter nails with clear tips and I also added decals and jewels, that being said I paid a pretty penny but it was worth every penny. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING THERE!!! This place is awful! You can tell they are just money hungry and they don't care about they quality of work. I was in there on a Friday to get a pedicure. I was already hesitant to go get my toes done given the year before I had my 2 big toe nails removed due to a hiking accident where I feel and hurt both my feet. So I needed acrylic on both my toes. I went in and explained to the lady what I needed. Right off the bat I could tell she was annoyed and brushed me off. The pedicure was awful you could just tell she wasn't putting effort in her work. She didn't even out my nails they were all different lengths and crooked. The next day after work (I'm an RN work 12 hr shifts this happened at 9pm) I go to take off my shoes and both nails fell off. The next day (Sunday) I go in first thing in the morning thinking it wouldn't be a big deal but I was wrong. I told them what happened and immediately they gave me a million excuses. First they told me the lady that did it wasn't there and wanted me to come back the next day. But I was going out of town later that night. It was so embarrassing all of them yelling at me to come back the next day. They finally told me I had to wait hours to get it fixed. I sat down and after 49 mins the same lady that did my nails fixed them. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. They were quick to ask for a tip but when it came to fixing them they took their sweet time. read more

POWDER NAILS IS LIFE!!! When I first ventured here I was skeptical but a former customer who been going here for 4 years introduced me to some employees and highly spoke about their work. Ever since then, I have been seeing Holly. She is definately blessed in the art of creating beautiful nails. It also just depends on the nail technician that you work with. For example some nail techs may have years of experience verses a new tech who has just begun his or her journey in their field. Live and learn folks! This is the only place that I found that has albums of hundreds of photos of their work, hundreds of colors to choose from, and displays of varieties of nail art or nail styles to choose from right in thier store (middle of the store to be exact). From my past experience most nail salons don't even have photos or displays so it is hard trying to decide what to expect from each nail salon. This place has "OPTIONS" that is what is offered here. Lets change gears and talk about why powder nails is life. I have stopped getting gel nails because it never was enough for me. For light nail gel polish colors like lavendar it needed like 2-3 layers of polish before the actual color appearred. For dark colors it would agitate me when the tech didn`t place the gel polish on perfect, flaws could be seen easily. I grew tired and then switched to powder nails thanks to some recommendations from currenr clients from this location. I recommend powder nails because: 1. They last longer! 2-4 weeks depends on how fast your nails grow out. Depends on how much money you will invest in them. Lately I have been keeping mine for 4 week before I head in for a refill with powder nails because it saves me money and I know my nails will last a solid 4 weeks. Of course they will grow out in 4 weeks I keep cuticle oil in my purse to massage on top of my nails and skin. This makes them look fresh, healthy and shiney. Cuticle oil can be found at most make up aisles or Sally Beauty Supply, Walmart etc. 2. They strengthen your nails! Its kind of like a shield on top of your nails, I never have to worry about breakage because my powder nails can handle everyday daily tasks from cleaning to typing to cooking etc. 3. The quality! Where to begin with the quailty especially if your a person who enjoys perfection with the amount of money your investing into 10 fingernails. Powder nails is the way to go, every set I had done has been perfect from the color intensity to the shape to the style. 4. The color! Weather your color is a light purple like lavendar or yellow like the sun or dark green like a shamrock. You can expect to get that exact shade and there is no need to worry about getting 2-3 layers done like with gel polish. Powder nails is POWDER, the tech will use a liquid and podwer colors to create your nails. Don't worry about it being bumpy or bulging in places you don't want it because when it dries (dries in 2 minutes or less without the Uv light) 5. The shaping process! The tech will use there tools to begin the shaping process. Communicate with your tech about what shape you want your nails to look like such as a square tip, round tip, stiletto tip etc. Since I have been getting powder nails I have been in love with each set I have gotten done. Also be smart about when you decide to visit the nail salon. If you hate long wait time avoid goinh during the weekends, its best to go during a weekday when its not packed. I like to go on a weekday (Monday to Thursday) after work when there is no wait time. I also call ahead to ensure my appointment and to see if my nail technician is working that day. Yes, they do schedule appointments here and offer gift certificates, massages, eyebrow waxing, permenant make up and service all your beauty needs. But I ignored it because I loved my nails. Second time I went , again rushing me to pick a color, and my nails were absolutely red and irritated they were basically pulsating. I wanted to really like it here but i didn't , They reuse everything they have .Pedicure i got was deluxe which was 45 and i was charged 55 because i supposedly got shellac when i never asked for it , I just wanted regular polish . The water was too hot asked her if she can make it a bit colder but didn't , went on to rinse me with cold water and told her she just brushed it off . I wish I could be writing something awesome but unfortunately my experience was everything but. I'll say that the employees are nice enough I don't have any complaints there but the service is very robotic. Holly was the tech who did my nails, now from the beginning I literally said exactly this "I just need an acrylic rebase with shellac overlay" She kept telling me that I needed to choose a color but it wasn't shellac that I was looking at in the samples it was a dip powder which I didn't want. I tried explaining to her over and over that I just wanted an acrylic rebase but she wouldn't do it for me, I really needed my nails done so I thought ok I'm gonna see what she's gonna do here and maybe it'll turn out ok...I can be open minded. She starts with the powder rebase and she definitely wasn't doing it evenly or correctly but I thought maybe she had a different routine or something...so I let her do her thing and reminded her that I needed a toenail polish change which she tried pretending that she forgot about....she half assed my toes and didn't even use the color I asked for nor did she apply the top coat evenly so $55 later I left with my nails and my toes looking extremely mediocre. I will NEVER go back to Vogue Nails, it's yet another chain nail salon who believes in quantity over quality. So disappointed and mad that I am going to have to wait for my regular nail girl to get this mess fixed. I wish I had waited for my nail Girl in the first place instead of being impatient. I usually never write reviews, but my experience at vogue nails was definitely not what I thought it was going to be. I had just moved to the area so I had yet to find "my nail place", it was a sunday and i really wanted my nails done. not a lot of mail places are open on sunday but vogue nails is so i made an appointment and went in. i wanted to get a pedicure and dip nail. when i arrived i was told to wash my hands and taken back to the chairs where you get the pedicure. i was told to sit in a chair and it took almost 10 minutes before someone came over and started on me, mind you the water is boiling hot. the lady doing my pedicure was being very rough and cut me a few times. She also asked me multiple times if I wanted to get my eyebrows done and insinuated that they needed to be done. While I was getting the pedicure done I could not even relax because of the pain. Then another lady comes over and asks what I wanted to get done for my nails. I showed her a picture and said I pretty much want this this exact thing and she gave kind of a face like that was going to be too much work, when i'm reality it was very simple. i wanted a different color on each nail in the brown shade. i've seen a lot more difficult done. I also wanted my nails to be dipped instead of shellac and I was told that that could not be done because they Didn't have the colors I want it. She then comes back over and starts working on my nails while I'm getting a pedicure so there's no relaxation at all at this point. When I'm done with my toes I go over to finish my nails and I see a wall filled with dip colors. I'm not sure why she told me that it was not possible. She then charged me $105 total when it should've been maybe 80. I ended up leaving hating my nails. They were not the right colors, not the right shape, and not the right length. It's been two weeks now and they've grown out terribly. it seems they only care about making money here. Would not recommend!!!! read more

I've been coming to this place since I was in high school. I drive from Denver to get my nails done at Vogue. It may not be the most eye appealing place but the girls really know what they're doing. I've been going to Jen for a long time. She used to do my acrylics when I got them and she did them just how I wanted. Plus she remembered the other times I went in how I liked them. I recently went in as a walk in and of course couldn't get in with Jenny because she is super busy but I got put with Linda for just a shillac manicure. My nails last longer than they ever had before. She did an amazing job. I just went in today for the second time with her and it was just as great! They use Gelish polish there which I like a lot better than any other brand. I will continue to come here. I just booked my next appointment in two weeks!! read more
