She was so friendly and funny and kind and I had a great time chatting with her while she worked on my nails. My mom, daughter and I went in to get mani/pedi's and the employees were all yelling in Vietnamese, arguing and it really stressed us out. My pedicure lady was nice, but my manicure lady cut my cuticles 3 times, which hurt, and she didn't even apologize. she kept trying to bully me into getting things I told her I didn't want and even insulted my choices stating "that not beautiful". My mom felt they were rude to her as well, and when my 3 year old smudge her thumb nail and I asked them to fix it, they made a huge deal out of it, and we very rude. Would not recommend this place for a relaxing nail treatment. I will never go there again. read more

If there were six stars, I'd give Sequim Nails that or more! It was my first, but not my last, visit. Kim did a marvelous job on my pedicure. Loved the paraffin wrap; hot rocks and wonderful leg/foot massage. Best I've had since I moved to Sequim 6 years ago. Clean beyond belief! read more

I have been here several times in the past and had positive experiences. Recently it's more and more difficult to get in for an appointment. This morning I called around 10am to see if there were any openings around lunchtime that I could squeeze into and I was told there was room for me at 11. I left for my lunch break early to make this appointment and as I was pulling into the parking lot I received a call from the same woman telling me she was cancelling my appointment because they were overbooked. I told her I had just made this appointment an hour ago, she continued on the tel me that "so and so is leaving, and we have three other clients, and they just told me to cancel you". The entire interaction was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time and of my lunch break to drive to the salon only to be cancelled at my appointment time. Will not be returning. read more

The staff have a great selection of products, the salon is clean and they have knowledge. However, they tend to rush you to the point that they graze your finger skin with the dremel tool. I always feel very rushed. Sometimes they have even been working on two people at once. Maybe they are over-booking? read more

Atrocious service. Had an appointment made for me as a present and immediately noticed the difference in service I was receiving in comparison to other customers who were there. The childish grumbling and attitude received during the service I was able to get was so off putting. I had also asked to get a full set done and was told I would have to wait longer for that. Was completely ignored in the meantime. Finally had enough and decided to leave and pay for the service I did get. I was charged $40 for a $35 service with no explanation as to why I was being charged more. Only annoyed grumbling from the person handling my transaction. If you want mediocre nails (at best) with poor treatment this is the place for you. read more

They claimed that they were busy when me and my mom walked in for pedicures.. when there was only 2 people in the salon. Did really good but they didn't listen to what I asked for, I hate super long nails, they did mine long.. even after asking to go shorter she said no I shouldn't go short, and the green she got was to bright and I asked her for the other one and she told me no, next time. And the design was super thick when I specifically asked for thin French tips because the night before I got my nails done and they were awful, not worth the 75 for not listening lol.. read more

Took my grandmother here, she is a diabetic patient so her feet are well, difficult sometimes. Ally took great care of my grandmother and excellent care to her feet. Other places would turn her away but Ally was so caring and careful, extremely attentive to my grandmother, always asking if she was ok and by the time we left my grandmother had a much easier time walking and said her feet hadn't felt that good in YEARS. Lynn does not honor her word. I have been coming here since she opened and I've referred many friends here. I was given a gift certificate for $35 and I lost it. She does not keep a record of gift certificates ( she should). I called her and told her I lost it. She told me to come in and she would take care of it. Bottom line, she argued with me and didn't honor her word. I've been a customer since she opened. I will never come back. She also treats her employees disrespectfully. read more

I asked the owner if I should come back at a certain time she then stated that she did not tell me to come back at 1:45 PM she was lying I got up and walked out as they were chattering in Vietnamese! It is obvious from the minute you step into this establishment that this is no ordinary nail place. The owner Lien, has really gone above and beyond to insure the comfort and health of her clients. The ventilation system is state of the art. No chemical fumes or dust from the nail products. The wonderful massage chairs are fantastic and functional, meaning that they are new and all work. There are literally hundreds of nail polish colors to choose from and several choices of services for artificial nails. I have frequented this lovely salon since they opened and have never been disappointed in my experience. The prices are competitive and I never feel rushed. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable, including bringing beverages to you. I highly recommend Sequim Apollo Nails. Although they usually can accommodate walk-ins, it is best to make an appointment. read more

i have been going to Sequim Nails since they opened 2 years ago and for the most part I was satisfied. but, when everyone was on lockdowns, wearing masks and trying to live some kind of a normal life when, my boyfriend bought me a gift card from there for Christmas but I wasn't able to use it because I got very sick so it took me almost a year to use up $300.00...I did not want another one - well to my surprise he got me another one for my birthday this November 2022 and even though he thought it was a nice surprise, he didn't know how much I dislike Sequim Nails now. The service, quality and professionalism has gone down. the last time I was there it cost $57.00 for a simple pedicure, wrong color and bad attitude. The owner tends to yell out your business even-though I've asked several times not to do that. I hate I have to go there until my card is finished but I too will be finished!! read more

tuesday november 29th my 15 year old daughter went to sequim nails to get her nails done for a dance very special occasion she was there for over 2 hours ....the owner did a terrible job on her nails made them so long and when my daughter asked her to file them down she told her i don't have all day...well excuse me when a customer is paying you 60 dollars to do a job you do it how she wants it done we don't go get our nails done for the owner to do them how she pleases. stop treating customer's like garbage. read more

I have been going to them since they opened. At first I was delighted that they honored your appointment time and gave you drinks while enjoying your nail services. However since this spring 2021, I noticed a substantial decline in services. My daughter had a pedicure appointment at 3:30 pm and she had to wait an hour until they began her pedicure. They should have asked if she wanted to come back but they didn't ask. Also, yesterday, I show up at on time for my appointment but I had to wait 15 minutes. The lady manicurist didn't start my pedi after the previous client left. Instead she was distracted, cleaning other stations and answering phone calls that were incessant. They really need a receptionist to answer phone calls. Finally I spoke up and asked her to start on my pedicure. She said ok and then she was fumbling with her manicure tools. Please be aware that they are cramming clients with two manicurists. The owners need to hire extra manicurists if they are maintain their service. read more

The establishment is beautiful and very clean. However the lady that did my nails, it's a total butcher job. All 10 of my nails are a different size and have a different shape, they're god awful. What a difference. Went to this nail salon four times. First time was with daughter & rated it FIVE STARS. Second time we had a more deluxe service & it was still good. Third & Fourth times I went alone. Most recent visit really went downhill. Had appt with operator I went to last time. Got a call at home, come early. Was backing out of driveway, got a call, come same time. Said I'm already on way. Got there & didn't get operator I asked for. No explanation. Owner did my pedicure. She was rushed, not friendly. Barking orders at people in her language. Never once chatted with me. Felt like an uncomfortable piece of furniture sitting there. I got the distinct feeling that people who pay more get treated better. Lady who got operator I asked for paid $87. I paid for Basic Pedicure. I didn't enjoy it & not sure where I want to go next time. I really wish Customer Service were important to these salons. There are a lot of places to choose from. read more

When we walked in the lady said 2 pedicures. We said sure. We were in the chair and as they were starting another 2 customers walked in and said then had an appointment. So the lady with the scheduling book comes over to us and says "you don't have an appointment?" I said no (keep in mind no one asked if we had an appointment) she had the lady stop my pedicure to go help the people that had a appointment. We were okay with that, more time in the massage chair. The people with the appointment were offered beverages and we weren't even asked. The lady came back and said you only get the normal #1 pedicure and quickly finished to get us out the door. We asked for glitter over our polish and the lady ignored us. We are very disappointed in this place and will not come back! Next time maybe ask if someone has an appointment as they walk in the door and don't assume. Learn better customer service. Penny's nails is better anyways! read more
