My daughter now attends, this will be her 3rd and a half year. I was looking for a school that felt like an extension of home. A loving and nurturing environment. I had originally missed the open house date but decided to give Ali a call for a private tour. The moment I stepped inside the classroom I fell in love. I knew right away that I had found our school! I have to say, what a relief. Ali explained to me the Montessori philosophy, admittedly I was not familiar with it. Now I can't imagine teaching my kiddos without this philosophy. First Stage Montessori has created a solid foundation for my children's independence, curiosity, confidence and responsibility. Whether your kiddo attends for 1 year or the entire 4 year program, you become family with the school. To my relief, when I walked in I was greeted by the director, Angel, who was warm, friendly and very informative. Immediately many of my fears dissipated. We decided to give it a shot. The first few weeks were tough for my daughter, but the staff and director made it so easy for her, and for me. I would recommend them on all counts from $$, to education, to cleanliness, to student/teacher ratio.

Luckily Bibity Bobity had openings. The transition for both of my kids went well. I think my kids did better than I did. Some of the other kids from the previous daycare were now at Bibity Bobity. And there was Miss Rose which made me smile. She was an asset at the previous daycare that my kids had been at, and she is still an asset at Bibity Bobity. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Thank You Jesus that there was a good daycare that my kids could go to in Sequim. Change is not easy. Bibity Bobity is a little more organized. I like how the different rooms are organized. I like how there is an option to pay more money to have our son in preschool. I like the two separate playgrounds-one for the old kids and one for the younger toddlers.

In being new to the area, my wife and I really appreciate the openness of the school, the innovation in the working garden, natural surroundings/playground, and classroom activities. For us as parents, we've met quite a lot of really interesting people with similar interests. For us as a family, we feel that Burlington Little School is a great fit for us.

The staff won me over with their love and dedication to this small non-profit tucked away in Port Hadlock. With minimal funding this school runs on a lot of love and help from the families who entrust this place for their childcare needs. The school has about 60 students total from toddler through 8th grade. The preschool is priced right and boasts being a part of the UW Early Achievers program. The school is founded on basic Christian principles, but is not overtly religious. At one point, the school was overseen by the Seventh Day Adventist church, but isn't any longer. As a hold over from that time, however, this is a vegetarian school. One of the only vegetarian school in WA! My kids have definitely grown to love vegetables while attending here. I've found the staff approachable and engaged and extremely loving and accommodating to families. I'm so grateful for this school!

It is a state-funded preschool that is free for families who qualify. Preschool is Tuesday-Friday and there is a morning class(8:30am-11:30am) and afternoon class(12:15pm-3:15pm). Although there are no classes on Mondays, the office is still open. Since this preschool is put on by Skagit Valley College, parents can actually earn elective credits every semester just by having their children attend the school! They do tours of the college so you can see what it's all about. Even though I am not currently taking other classes at SVC, I love the fact that I can still utilize their services being that I'm enrolled by having my son attend the preschool. There are a lot of great other resources for parents to help support their children whether it be educational, emotional, financial, etc. There is a parent council for those who want to get more involved and they have frequent luncheons so you can meet and socialize with other parents. Towards the end of the year, kids who will be going to Kindergarten will get to go on a school bus and get a sneak peak at a real grade school class room. This is an absolutely wonderful preschool with amazing teachers and staff! My sons teachers were Miss Patricia, Miss Jill, and Miss Sonni. They are all very attentive to each of the children and you can see how passionate they are as teachers. I really appreciate all that they do and we will miss them terribly!

as a former employee, I need to say that they may care for the residents but they defunitedly do…read morenot care for their employees. what no one seems to understand in the healthcare industry is that the employee takes care of the residents. we sacrificed our health, heart, hours for the residents and that is the only reason they stay. if they knew how we were truly treated they would've never stayed.
