The next thing I knew I was making an appointment. The first visit for me is always stressful with new people looking inside your mouth, however, the dentist was fantastic. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. My next stop was at the hygienist office for a very thorough and painless cleaning. I have since been back for another 6 month cleaning. I am the BIGGEST BABY when it comes to pain. I've had some bad experiences with Western Dental & Packwood Dental so I've been avoiding the dentist. My sister recommend them because they have a laser that makes filling cavities pain free. You wont even need anasthesia. I didnt get to try the laser YET. I needed a root canal for the worst cavity. They were sooo awesome. This is my 1st great dental experience. Everyone: Xray tech, Patricia the dental hygenist, Dr. Stanic who reviewes my xrays with me, Dr Biu who did the root canal were all great. They explained everything to me and kept checking that I was doing ok. I never thought I'd recommend a dentist office but I am. I've been a patient of Dr. Stanic for the last 20 years. I grew up in the area and was my dentist since I was a kid. I moved out to Los Angeles 10 years ago and after trying to find a new one, I couldn't seem to find the perfect fit out there. I refuse to go any where else. The drive to see him and his staff are worth it. Dr. Stanic and his knowledgeable staff make every visit is quick, efficient, no BS and painless. My wonderful hygienist Kylee was so thorough with my deep cleaning procedure and was so gentle when it came time to the numbing process. I am so happy I decided to have the Snorelase procedure at Sequoia Dental. It's only been about 4 days since I went in for this laser treatment to reduce the excessive tissue around my throat that contribute to my snoring. It look about 15 minutes. I felt no pain and didn't need any medication. The only side effect was having a dry mouth for a day. I use a snore app that tracks my sleep. Since the procedure my snoring has gone down dramatically from 25% to 6%. The treatment is a set of 4 appointments. I'm excited to see what the results will be once I finish all 4. read more

All of the women who helped me were professional, respected my time and made me feel comfortable. However, I did not have a pleasant experience when examined by Dr. Stanic I sat in the exam room for an unacceptable amount of time. When Dr. Stanic finally saw me he hardly even looked at my teeth. He was more concerned with telling jokes and trying to push sleep apnea products.This has been a reoccurring issue and I have now found a different dentist. It is unfortunate because the women in this office are amazing but I just couldn't take it anymore. Every visit I would leave frustrated and annoyed by Dr. Stanic. read more

I always have such a good experience at Sequoia Dental they have such welcoming and friendly staff. I am always called back right away whether I am scheduled in the morning or afternoon. I feel like the hygienists always take their time on cleaning my teeth and provide me with great flossing tips for harder to reach areas. Dr. Bui always makes me feel comfortable when he works on my teeth even when I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled. When I see Dr. Stanic for my Invisalign he always makes me laugh with his jokes. Dr. Bui is the BEST. He is so caring and understands anxiety! He is gentle and asks if you are ok several times to make sure the experience is tolerable. If you ask, they will give you an RX for an anxiety med prior to the appointment. I am terrified of the dentist and this has helped me tremendously. I don't mind waiting extra for an appointment for Dr. Bui! I won't go any where else. I am sad, however, they no longer accept my dental insurance, but some day they will again, I'm sure. read more

I would not recommend Dr. Miroslav Stanic, DDS. During my son's dental cleaning visit, he recommended that he take a patient performed "in-home" sleep test sponsored by Westlake Sleep Institute/EZ Sleep. He stated that my son could have a sleeping problem (sleep apnea or snoring problem) that should be looked into. Mind you, he has no dental problems (i.e.,. grinding of teeth, gum disease, etc.) The two-night sleeping test consists of breathing in a small EZ Sleep devise. Neither the dentist nor Westlake Sleep Institute provided an upfront cost of the test. We received an outrageous bill for approx. 9k from Westlake Sleep Institute/EZ Sleep. This dentist didn't even perform a follow-up dental care/sleep issue discussion with him regarding the sleep test results. It appears that this dentist and the Westlake Sleep Institute/EZ Sleep "benefit" from one another. read more

The insurance coverage explanation was at best vague. Went in for a regular 6-month clean, left with a "deep clean" that did not include the polish and was charged for non- preventive service-what!? read more
