These days I'm not nearly as bad as that, which I'm sure the staff appreciate! While my original eye doctor retired a while back now, I've had no problems with his replacements or anyone else on the staff. Occasionally you get a new receptionist who needs to learn the ropes and requires a few extra minutes to get your information down as you make your appointment, but they're always very polite and helpful; during the last visit one lovely woman talked to me about hunting for a primary care doctor, which I think qualifies as going above and beyond your job duties to help a patient. And nothing sets the tone for your appointment better than a good conversation. The doctors themselves are also very nice - they're always happy to answer my questions about my eyes, and make the appointments more about politely catching up with me than anything else. Considering that eye exams can be stressful for some, their interactions with me are the #1 reason I would recommend Crossroads over anywhere else. Being able to talk to your doctor is hugely helpful if you hate dealing with drops, find the equipment involved in eye exams unsettling, etc. Crossroads also sells glasses on-site, but I can't comment on this aspect of the practice as my family has always bought our glasses from another business. Still, their eye care alone gets two big thumbs up from a long-time satisfied patient!

We transferred from another local eye doctor because his staff was unprofessional and rude, but the staff at B Doty are some of the best I've ever dealt with at a doctor's office.
