Nice hotel on the outskirts of Barcelona.
Location: There's a commercial district nearby with food, cafes, and such. In terms of access to city center, there's the 63 bus line only a couple of minutes walk away that goes to Pl. Universitat and Pl. Catalunya. Takes over 40 minutes to get there and the bus runs every 15 minutes, though it can be 30 minutes at other parts of the day/week.
Rooms: About as small as one expects for Europe. Clean, modern design aesthetic. Decent closet space for a few days stay. In my single room, there lacked a good desk space to work. There was a long desk fixed to the wall and I could sit on the edge of the bed and work on a laptop that way. There was a lounge chair that could also be pulled up to a small part of the desk that seemed designed for it, but it felt very cramped.
Overall, for the price I paid, it was a good stay.
Staff spoke decent English, and helped me with some transit stuff, as it's not easy to get around without a car.
Bathrooms: Surprising spacious and nice. Very clean. read more
