I retained them to look into money my deceased mother had in 2 bank accounts at M&T and KeyBank. Before she passed, she called me needing my SS# because she was heading to Gallo & Iacovangelo to have her will prepared. Both banks informed me I needed her Will to access any money. When I contacted Gallo & Iacovangelo they said they didn't have her will but could bypass it. This was December 2024. This should have been resolved either way in weeks. I was just informed by paralegal Paula Clark that she had no luck recovering any money. 16 months later for something that should have taken weeks!! When I would reach out to her requesting updates, I got no response. The only time she reached out was when she presented me with the bill for services rendered. To say I was livid is an understatement. Then I demanded twice in emails that she return my mother's bank account information as well as her ss#. After no response the first time. I informed her the second time that keeping that information was "theft". She then returned the documents. I will never do business with Gallo & Iacovangelo again!

Her tagline reads…read more"It is so important that we elect Judges that understand the complexities of the Family Court system." I absolutely 100% agree with this statement. Unfortunately, Kristine is NOT someone you should put your trust or faith to do that. What qualities does one expect from a family court judge? Integrity, trustworthy, honesty, reliable, hard working to name but a few. Just over 10 years ago, a divorce was handed to Kristine's client, my wife. She was freely appointed as she had no money because the man from the other side of the table took everything. Turning to Kristine she simply asked her for legal advice as anyone would have. She was still shell shocked by this whole ordeal as most people would be. Kristine simply said "It looks fine." That's it folks. Is it 5 years of law school that got her to this point I wonder? Could you possibly imagine signing ANY legal, binding contract without first reviewing it let alone that this was prepared by your ex-partner, no questions asked. My wife suffered no forms of physical DV at his hands. But there are many other ways this narcissistic bar stuard (pardon my french) abused her. This "separation agreement" was appalling. You would think in most cases, divorces rightly or wrongly amount to 50/50. That's kinda the whole point. He got 100% of what he asked for and Kristine's stand on this was I don't want to be here so you should sign this. My wife was petrified he was going to take her children away so did as Kristine "advised" her This was from the same man that famously demanded money to pay his baby sitter that would no longer be needed in order for us to have the children for an afternoon on his time for a family party. His plans that afternoon? Taking just his other child from his 2nd marriage out for a meal, leaving his other kids home alone with a sitter! That just gives you an idea just how one-sided anything drafted by this crook would be. It was so bad, had my wife acted upon it sooner, Kristine would have had her own legal battle to contend to as my wife could have sued her! When we needed to tie up the loose ends we ended up paying a competent lawyer. Sure, it did cost a fair amount of money this time round, but I will never forget his reaction to reading the original separation agreement. For the 100's if not 1000's he must have handled one word escaped his mouth... "Unique". He had never seen anything quite like it before. In summary, I see so many sign posts to elect Kristine Demo-Vazquez in a crowded bunch of same party candidates for other elected positions. A family court judge should NOT be a political issue. It's a human rights issue and it really is about the good qualities of the person and not which wing of the same bird she perches on. Those reading this may never require the services of a Family Court Judge. But it is important to imagine how she handled my wife's case that you try and imagine if this was your close friend or family member going through the same experience and maybe you might feel as strongly opposed to this candidate. We will never know how much knowledge she actually has on family law because on this occasion she chose not to offer any. If she turns her back to her own clients, how on earth can you expect this woman's work ethic to handle 1000's of family court battles every year? The starting salary for a Family Court judge is around 200k so you can see where Kristine's motivation truly lies.
