Incredibly slow. Not worth the money. I recommend finding another law firm to work with.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Tully Rinckey - Rochester regarding a complex…read morelegal matter involving Child Abuse and Neglect. The entire team was professional, compassionate, and attentive from the start. They listened carefully to my concerns and clearly explained the possible legal options. They kept me informed of what was likely to happen at each step, making the entire process much easier. Their communication was transparent, timely, and always helpful. I had a great experience with their respect for their clients, their responsiveness, and their high quality of services again of service. I will definitely use their services again in the future and would recommend their servces to others.

Richard Brister is highly persuasive during the initial consultation. Unfortunately, his impressive…read morephone manner is where the competence at Tully Rinckey ends. What Mr. Brister promised us during our consultation bears absolutely no resemblance to what the firm ultimately delivered. He explicitly assured us that our $4,000 retainer would cover a robust, comprehensive demand letter and active negotiations--even discussing specific enforcement provisions to hold management accountable to critical safety measures. We relied on those professional representations when we signed and paid our retainer. What we received was a weak, inaccurate and completely unusable draft. It was addressed to an individual who no longer worked for the company, contained a false timeline, failed to include our core claims, and completely ignored the evidence we had provided. It was a sloppy, careless rush job that caused our household and my 88 year old mother additional distress. The worst part? When we pointed out these glaring, objective errors, Tully Rinckey did not offer to correct them without further depleting our retainer. They never denied that we would be expected to pay additional legal fees simply to obtain an accurate and usable version of the document we had already retained them to prepare. To anyone considering this firm: Do not be fooled by Mr. Brister's polished sales pitch. Get every verbal promise in writing before you hand over a single dime. We trusted Tully Rinckey with thousands of dollars and a highly sensitive matter, and we were left with zero results, a bigger headache, and a nearly depleted retainer. Shame on Richard Brister, and shame on Tully Rinckey. Stay tuned for more TR reviews.

I used Kevin & Debbie (Rochester, NY office) for my mediation process. I really would love to give…read morethem 5 stars because Kevin was just a good dude...very knowledgable. Debbie, the paralegal who I only ever consulted with via e-mail, was helpful if lacking a tad of bedside manner. The reason for the drop from 5 to 4 is I felt things were not fairly or adequately explained to me during the mediation process. Now that I'm a year post-mediation, I really wish they had explained more of the Child Support laws - and that we should negotiate & potentially deviate from the state calculator because we were 50/50 custody. Instead, they just signed me up for the full $2,700/mo cost as the higher income earner and sent me packing. I also wish there was more thorough explanation about asset division. He suggested we keep her car loan in my name until the loan matures and just share the cost. Cool. Looks fine on paper, sounded fine in the office - but in reality, now I'm financially tied to my ex for 3-4 more years. I weirdly own her car and have to do her registrations, maintain insurance for her, and all that stuff. I can't imagine this isn't something they experienced before being professional family law specialists. A little education would've gone a long way. I appreciate that they wanted to keep things on the lower end of costs & move us through quickly...but some of these basic things would've been super helpful instead of telling me things to "get it done" that would ultimately be HUGE headaches later on.

I realize Yelp reviewing your real estate attorney is fairly out of the norm...but this is the kind…read moreof help most people need in the most consequential moments of their lives so here we are! I've gone through both the buying and selling process now with Kevin Hoyt and the team at Gallo, and cannot say enough about how seamless they made the process. There were some title issues that came up when I was purchasing my property back in 2018 that were taken care of without my having to worry about it, and when it came time to sell - the team here had my property ready to close two weeks ahead of schedule. Kevin's assistant, Dianne, is who I worked with primarily on the sale process. She was able to answer all of my questions and find all the necessary documentation without my having to do much of anything. I can't say how meaningful it was, in the midst of a very fast relocation, to know that this was part of the moving process I didn't need to worry about. I fully recommend Gallo if you're moving to, from, or within Rochester and looking for an attorney. They made a process that could have been incredibly stressful completely seamless, and I am grateful.

They like to single people out without letting any explanation to be given. Very secretative and shady. Do not train their employees - they just throw them into a position and leave them to figure it out. Very high turnover due to the fact that they are only interested in putting the money in their pockets! Have rude, loud, disrespectful attorneys therefore it is very hard to concentrate on workload especially when you are on the phone with a client. Just selfish, selfish, selfish. They will talk behind closed doors or behind your back when you are not around and make you look like a fool. They are never satisfied with anyone but themselves. If you are young and just starting a career and will except low pay - don't even bother - you will not be happy. I would like to also add that while they are letting go of hard, loyal, smart workers they are allowing other employees to sleep at their desks, text on their phone in the bathroom and kitchen for 1/2 hours at a time, wear inappropriate clothing and shoes and are just very unprofessional for a lawfirm setting!
