The work the dental technicians at Trail Creek do is fine. I've had no complaints there. However, when it comes to their administrative staff I am absolutely finshed with them. They've messed up the schedule on my last two cleanings. They messed up the schedule on my wife's last cleaning and were very rude to her. To the point the lady at the desk wouldn't talk to my wife and walked away. Then they snuck in a $50 missed appointment fee for "my" missed appointment on her bill and didn't tell her they were doing it!! When I called and discussed it with them, there were no management around to discuss it. I gave them a chance at making this right and I will not be back. Don't write trite response just to save face. Just another bad Dentist.

I was told that insurance would be verified and that they would submit everything for a coverage estimate prior to treatment. After my exam and X-rays, I was informed that I had periodontal disease and would need scaling and root planing. I was also told I had approximately nine cavities and was strongly encouraged to proceed with laser treatment that was not covered by insurance. At no point did I feel I was given clear, conservative options or a breakdown of urgency versus elective procedures. The initial visit resulted in a $200 charge, and I was quoted approximately $800 for the recommended deep cleaning. Because the diagnosis felt significant, I sought a second opinion as I've never had periodontal issues and receive regular cleanings (I worked in the dental industry for years). At another dental office, I was told that I do not have periodontal disease and do not need scaling and root planning cleanings. Their review of my X-rays showed no signs supporting that diagnosis, aside from two isolated pockets near areas where my wisdom teeth had previously been extracted. Then was informed I have two areas on my molars that needed very small fillings on the occlusal areas. They were shocked my Mason Dentals treatment plan! Based on this second opinion, I'm concerned about the difference in diagnoses and the treatment plan I was given. I would recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with Mason Dental.

They use the newest dental technology and are clearly committed to continuously educating their staff, which really adds to the level of care and confidence you feel as a patient. The compassion, professionalism, and follow-up are truly exceptional. I also want to give a special shout-out to one of their newer dental assistants, Aubrey. I've dealt with constant pain from a wisdom tooth, that was tearing into my cheek. I was skeptical of dentist for I've encountered countless heavy handed and awkward dentists. Not once did I ever feel unsafe or misinformed of any of the treatment I received. When it came to my procedure being over only thing left was to pay, I was worried of the price based off the quality of experience I received I knew it put me over my budget. The process took place on a Thursday. The following evening I noticed an issue with the temporary; a part of the temporary had a hole. I called the emergency line at Smile NRH at 10:20 pm. At 10:25 pm, Dr. Dube called back, providing her cell phone to receive the photos. She adjusted her schedule on Saturday morning to get me in to fix the temporary. Dr. Dube followed up on Monday to ensure I had no other issues. In addition, Jackie is accommodating. She works with you and your dental insurance, scheduling appointments and following up. Robyn is one of the best hygienists. She is thorough and caught my bone atrophy, where I got immediate attention to prevent further bone loss. Told me some bs about how it took awhile to fax over insurance information from provider. Never received one call from the non existent office manager. Dr. Young is great but will not be retuning after multiple problems with his front desk staff who only know how to swipe cards and setup appointment.
