Serenity is about a 10" walk from our resort, located on the second floor, next to a little grocery store. You can call and make reservations or we were welcomed as "walk in's" - yea!!! Friendly, Clean and half the prices of resorts and the same therapists quality of massage techniques. Hubs and I got the hour massage, great pressure and technique, I felt 100% better. Both therapists spoke English so communication was good. Herbal eucalyptus oils were used so you also get aromatherapy as well. Highly recommend. read more

I had the most amazing massage here today by Lucero.. Just $40 for 60 minute or $50 for 90 minutes. It was clear that she was trained as a massage therapist. It was absolutely incredible. About 1000 times better than the general body rub I received at the Sandbar a few days ago for about the same price. On top of that, they have private rooms that are air conditioned. And a few free parking spots in front. Absolutely recommend and I look forward to returning! read more

First time visiting Serenity Day Spa and it was a good experience. I was able to book a same day appointment and head over for a 60-minute relaxing massage. The masseuse (I don't know her name) was skilled and thorough, and did a great job with the overall massage. The day spa is small, cozy, and clean. It was convenient and a short drive from the resort and it was easy to find. The pricing seemed fair and they offer specials/discounts- if you ask. I'd consider returning in the future and recommend checking out Serenity. read more

Our resort was two blocks from this place so we stoped in for the 90 min deal. My girlfriend had the 90 minute combo massage & facial from Iva. I had the full body 90 minute massage by Lidia. Both were fantastic and very professional. I thought the place was clean and we felt very safe. I recommend this spot and would definitely return. I've been to several massage places in this area. Serenity is quite low key, and in Oct 2019 we were able to get 75 minute massages for $35 USD. (Prices may depend on the season, but it was definitely the best priced in the area.) The therapists were quite professional and the rooms were comfortable with mini-splits for climate control. This will be my massage place of choice from now on and I recommended it to my friends that visited while I was staying. They went a couple of times. Give it a shot, you can't go wrong. read more

So I get massages 2-6x a month generally. Because of this, I tend to go to Chinese reflexology places to keep costs low. So that's what I'm comparing to, but... The place was clean, massage was GREAT! They were able to take us as a walk-in. We tried two other places but they were booked up until noon. They used a relaxing aromatherapy spray before and once during the massage which was a great touch. Overall, would definitely come back. $30USD for an hour. Definitely cheaper than the other places nearby. It just doesn't have the fancy palm trees and beachfront BUT the actual massage was amazing. read more

This place is on the same street as Eden day spa. I chose Serenity because it seemed less touristy (if that's a thing in Cabo) and had fewer frills. There aren't a hundred different package combinations and you won't find a massage/facial/haircut/wax/mani/pedi package here. But what you will find is young, capable, and super friendly professionals with very reasonable prices. My husband and I had a couple's massage - 90 minutes for $100. There's a clean bathroom with a shower. And there's a small waiting area outside on the porch with cold water and A/C if you want it. Inside the set up is like many places I've been in to Chinatown, with partitions for privacy but no ceilings on the 3 or 4 rooms. Our massage tables were very close to each other. There were strong hooks to hang backpacks, clothing, etc, and a few shelves for jewelry, glasses, keys, etc. The two therapists worked in tandem so they were doing the exact same body part at the same time. I was worried that when one lifted the blanket for me to turn onto my back that the other would see me, but when I turned around, she was also doing the same for my husband with her back turned to me. They use quite a bit of oil and twice they waved essential oils in front of our noses. Didn't seem like a natural scent but pleasing nonetheless. Payment was easy with cash or credit card. We weren't asked what we wanted or needed and we weren't vocal about it either. They hit all the right spots of soreness after a long afternoon of kayaking the day before. If you want a specific type of massage or a specific part of the body worked on, make sure you tell them first. Pro Tips: 1. If paying by card, tell them to add the tip beforehand - there is no line for it after your card is run. 2. Please be respectful of others from the time the moment the door opens - because there are two massage "rooms" on either side of the front door. Had we known this, we would have been even quieter coming in. 3. The spa is located on the second floor of an office building with a sport fishing / tour company underneath. Don't let the guys downstairs try to sell you on anything you don't want - if you don't want to be bothered, just give them a polite "gracias" and keep walking. read more

I agree with all the reviews. This place is amazing. And $30 for an hour!! You can't beat it. Lydia gave me my massage today. She is a small lady, but is strong and her hands are amazing. I highly recommend her. My daughter had Rosa Marie and she was just as pleased. I like that it was a straight massage. The only words exchanged were.....is this pressure okay? And that was fine with me. I'm in Cabo for 5 more days and I plan on going back at least 3 more times. Four visits to Serenity is equal to one massage at Villa Del Arcos. If you don't care about all the frills, try this place. I think you will be very pleased. See you tomorrow!! read more

Hidden gem! My wife and I found this spot browsing through Yelp. Our resort wanted to charge us $220 for an 80 min massage (Crazy Guys). Esperanza, the manager got us in right away. Super reasonable prices! Rosa Maria, my masseuse was amazing! The place was clean. Don't let the little hole in the wall fool you... Eden's spa next door was appointment only so we tried this place. $25 for 30 min each. By far the worst experience I've ever had. It's so bad I cannot move my arms in a way that uses my back muscles and this is the following day. I had to look to see if I had bruises when I woke up. They were so rough and it felt like her digging her elbow and every bit of weight into my shoulder blades the entire 30 min. The only thing that was enjoyable was when she rubbed my neck. I have no idea who in their right mind would dig into someone's back that intensely for so long and expect it to feel good. I wish I could say I'm exaggerating in the slightest way but I am not. I would never go here again. The other 2 people with me said they had no issues and it was fine. The lady I had was absolutely terrible and left me in so much pain and this is the end of day 2. Avoid this place and she never even touched my lower back. The entire 30 min was an elbow in the shoulder blades and surrounding areas with all her force... read more
