The entire staff was so kind especially Luisa who gave us a tour and helped us along the way! Booked 80 minutes and all of our massages were great, awesome therapists although a bit difficult to communicate in Spanish (me). Nice clean, fragrant rooms, private and well worth the prices. *Beware of price gouging* $538 for a couples deep tissue massage is highway robbery / price gouging after being told a different price over the phone of ~$350 total. We were bait and switched when it was time to check out. My mistake for not confirming the price again when we arrived for the service. No appointment confirmation was sent to me in advance. No reminder call, text, or email was sent close to the appointment date. I had to calI to make sure I still had an appointment. Not really a massage and more of a rub down. The masseuse seemed to lack a basic understanding of human anatomy based on how she was manipulating my body for stretches. The only bright spot is the access to amenities like the pressure shower, sauna, showers, spa pools of various temperatures, and steam room. You should avoid this place because of the price gouging and poor massage quality. read more

One of the best spa experiences!!! Allow extra time to utilize the therapy pools, the rejuvenating showers, the eucalyptus steam room and the sauna. The entire facility is meant for relaxing and 100% delivers!! Hubs and I were given 2-25 minute massages as a customer service gesture. Luckily, we were able to book them on notice. Our massage practitioners were professional and had great expertise in relieving neck and back discomfort. The massage worked out all our knots, with great pressure and masterful technique. I had to try everything in the pool area: the hot tub, tepid pool and cold plunge. Even though I'm not a cold plunge kind of person, I have it a go! It was invigorating!! Afterward, there was a shower that cascaded a flood of water down - to target your back and neck. I highly recommend it!! The eucalyptus steam room was calming. I found the zen I had misplaced during travels. If you get a chance, book a spa treatment at the Desert Spa. You won't regret it! read more

Let me start off with the downside... This place is EXPENSIVE! We have visited some high-end spa's in California and these prices are as much if not more which is crazy for the Cabo area. With that said, that is the only negative. My husband and I had a massage booked for each of us. Make sure you plan to stay either before or after your treatment and take advantage of the therapy pools, the rejuvenating showers, the eucalyptus steam room, and the sauna.  The entire facility is relaxing and 100% delivers!! Now our ladies were by far the absolute BEST we have ever had. I did ask her (Norma) if I could take her home with me. ha. My husband said the same thing about his gal (Vero) If your looking to splurge and relax this is a great option while staying at the Villa Group property. read more

Such a relaxing experience! Came here last week for a Relaxing Massage with Lizzi (I think that was her name) she made sure I was absolutely comfortable, and the massage was one of the most fantastic massages I have had in such a long time! To me, the price was way worth the experience. I recommend checking in early to get most bang for your buck for the facilities. I was glad to have a quiet experience with not many guests (although one guest did think it'd be relaxing for me to hear her business call on speakerphone in the locker room? Weird... ) My favorites were the steam room (with aromatics like eucalyptus and something else - lovely either way!), sauna, cold face towels, and the waterfall shower (although I was worried I would flood the place) Everyone was very accommodating and kind. My expectations for this place were too high. Staff was attentive, but this place is not ideal for couples. Men and women are separated (even with different hydrotherapy areas). We had thought we booked the El y Ella service, but something got lost in translation b/c we ended up with just a regular old couples massage, which wasn't anything special or relaxing. Oddly, they tried to upcharge us when we were in the massage room ($18 extra for lotion instead of oil?? Not classy). Pools were nice, but the cold pool was broken when I was there. Other clients were really loud, so the pool area wasn't super relaxing. In fact, I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. I opted to leave early and wait for my husband in the lobby reading my book. Wasn't worth the premium price. read more

I really can't find enough words to talk about our Spa experience. Luisa greeted us and showed us around, we were provided robes and slippers. There were various showers with different pressures and 3 whirlpools to enjoy. Irene brought me a cool towel for my neck and a glass of filtered water. They both made this experience remarkable. I then was escorted to the most serene room for a 90 min massage with Veronica. Her pressure and attentiveness to my knots and stress was amazing. She was so gracious and the hot stones were amazing. We then enjoyed about an hour in the whirlpools, again Luisa and Irene were there with fresh waters, and a flower hair clip. This is a peaceful, serene setting. It was just what we needed after a long flight from the states. I highly recommend booking an appt. I also recommend spending an hour before or after your massage enjoying the facilities. They are luxurious and beautiful. read more

My daughter and I went to the spa yesterday and what a great day. We both had exfoliating massages and it was the best thing ever! The spa is beautiful, well staffed and everyone made you feel welcomed. They speak English which is a plus. My wife and I were down for a week and hurricane/ tropical storm bud affected our ability to get out and snorkel with our friends. We decided to take a tour of the facility yesterday and we were so impressed by the facility and staff we decided to get an 80 minuet couples massage (since we couldn't get out of the water) We normally get a massage every 3-4 weeks back home, today however was the best we have either had. 2 and the staff was beyond what you could imagine. We just had the most incredible couples massage at Los Arcos Desert Spa. The staff was incredibly professional, friendly, and the spa was beautiful. My masseuse, Roma, worked on all those tense spots in my back and gave a great massage. You have access to the hydrotherapy room and exercise equipment as well, all day. In fact, you can return later in the day and use it as well. It is low season in Cabo, and the spa is offering lots of discounts. We paid $80 each for a 50min massage. Well worth it!! The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was that we weren't allowed to use the private spa room even though we had a couples massage booked. It would have been nice. The hydrotherapy rooms are gender specific. read more

Desert Spa gives the best massages! I've been to both the one at the Nuevo Vallarta Flamingos location and the one at Villa Del Arco in Cabo San Lucas. I like deep tissue and their masseuses can apply strong, firm pressure that is smooth and healing, they don't leave you wincing in pain. It's a total experience with hot tubs and sauna, steam room and rejuvenation showers. Highly recommend. If you are an owner, you can use points towards your massage. read more

Desert spa is beautiful and has wonderful amenities. My suggestion would be to be very specific about what type of massage you would like. Deep tissue massage is done with a lot of pushing pressure with elbows and it was hard to communicate with the therapist. Nail spa is nice however expensive for what you get. No massage with pedicure but an impeccable job on manicuring. read more

The Best Spa in Cabo! My husband and I get a couples massage every year when we come down! The staff there are very friendly, and the massage therapists are very good. They have a Hydrotherapy room that has 3 different tubs and 5 different showers you can enjoy before or after your treatment. They also have a gym with a wide variety of exercise equipment. Loved my time at desert spa it was fantastic! All of the staff was very kind and accommodating - Claudia took care of us for our entire stay in the spa along with Luisa, Sandy, and Liz who were all very on top of making sure we were taken care of. The massage was very reasonably priced, especially compared to other options in the area. I did a 90 minute massage with Isela who was incredible! She did an incredible job, I left the room halfway in a coma and I never wanted to leave! I have never been so relaxed. I also strongly recommend getting there early or planning to have an extra hour or two after any treatments to enjoy the hot/cold tubs, pressure showers, steam room, showers, and sauna that are all included in the price of treatments. You can stay all day, we ended up staying for a total of 3-4 hours and only had a 90 min massage, it was so relaxing and amazing we never wanted to leave. A must if you need a great relaxing escape and not a gigantic price tag!! This place is amazing! Went with a group of 7 ladies, all of whom are in the spa industry back in the states. Massage therapist, estheticians, and a spa owner. There was no problem accommodating all of us at the same time, and the facilities were beautiful. As for the massage- best I've ever had in my life!!! My 85min was not enough!
