Today I had one of the greatest hair experiences ever at then Hair and Body Salon in Augusta Georgia with the owner and hair stylist Zenda. From the time I sat down it was just peaceful she trimmed my hands to perfection and invited me to the shampoo bowl I told it was a little chilly for me. She pulled out a stylish heated blanket. I don't even know what happened after that I was in and out of sleep it was so tranquil it smells good it was clean and fresh and Airy she was kind of pleasant and attentive she washed my hair it was like yoga and meditation and a massage all at the same time. It was such a treat. I just melted into the shampoo bowl and chair. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Zenda. Your service felt like I had done yoga, meditated and got a massage at the same time.

So you can imagine our delight when we heard that she would be able to re-open her shop this past Monday. We made a quick call and were able to both get a much needed hair session. While we used to live in Aiken, we moved to Columbia 15 years ago and have continued to drive back to Aiken for Sara to do our hair. Upon our arrival Monday, at the entrance to the shop was a basket of nice masks to wear while inside if you chose to or needed one. We each completed a short questionnaire about our current/recent health. We were then greeted by Sara, as well as Carrie and Megan, family members who also work there. The shop was spotless, as always. We were Sara's only clients at the time. Megan had a client also, but she was in another room within the shop. We felt very safe while there. Sara worked efficiently to cut two-month's growth off Sid's hair and then refreshed my color and gave me a much-needed trim. We left thrilled with our results and that it had all worked out so perfectly. It was a fun and relaxing outing for us since we had been quarantined for quite awhile. We would not hesitate to highly recommend 210 York in Aiken, SC!

Katrina was amazing!…read more I rarely go to the salon to get my hair done, I had a naturally curly tapered cut that was maintained by my sons' barber. However the style I wanted to achieve required a feminin touch. I searched several social media sites and the internet looking for a stylist in the CSRA. I came across Katrina's Instagram page and her work spoke for itself so I called to make an appointment. Katrina was amazing! She was very patient and attentive. She listened to all of my concerns and answered every question I had...she was very knowledgeable about hair in general and also about the other services offered at the salon that inquired about. I showed Katrina pictures of the style I wanted to achieve and pictures of what I didn't. We discussed the style and she let me know step by step what she'd be doing to my hair. And Katrina nailed it...the style came out better than I imagined. I left that salon feeling like a new woman. I can't say it enough but Katrina is truly amazing! I'll defintely be back to see her!
