I booked a Thai massage. After 15 minutes of receiving somewhat of a deep tissues massage, I asked her for a Thai massage. She left, came back and 10 minutes later seemed to do some movements like traditional Thai massage. But it wasn't as good as a true Thai massage. I was on my front for 1 full hour and only 30 minutes on my back. This is also not typical for a 90 minute. When she walked on my back, it didn't feel right. There seemed to be a disconnect of how to really be in the right muscle area and her training. I felt unsafe as she was too close to my spine and sometimes too much weight close to my neck. It's not a massage typical of a spa service. It's more like the kind of massage from a place that does chair, table and foot massages. Cookie cutter. They exhibit professionalism and are attentive to all your needs. Love all the therapists but my regular is Summer. Summer also provides facials. I love her 1 1/2 hour facial. Decided to get a massage while in the area since we've had a long day. I was able to make an appointment for an hour later. There are plenty of parking lot outside. I checked in, then was taken into a room, asked to undress, and the massage began. I got a thai massage so I was expecting something like a "Thai massage" like in Thailand. I have been going to serenity massage for several years and have recommended them to many people in the area. They offer quality massage consistently. Except the foot area was not well addressed this time. And my experience was with two different therapists. Today our couples massage was done well, and I was happy with my experience until it came time to pay. I had noted that the prices increased from $100-$110 and I was prepared for that. The 3 staff at the front monitoring my cc payment was not "that" intimidating until I left a cash tip of $15/person and I was met with obvious "unhappiness" and so I asked. Is that not enough for you? And was given "a look of disapproval" Maybe I am mistaking but I thought that a tip was an extra payment....and that massage therapists, similar to cosmetologists and estheticians are paid either hourly or by a commission %. And that a tip in these settings are extra payment for great service. Which as mentioned before, this experience was not as well done as I have had in the past where I have left 20% + tips to the therapist ( usually Anna or Joan) This is the first time I have had this kind of unprofessional response at serenity. read more

May be you can get a relaxing massage here but don't let them do Thai massage on your back - they don't know what they are doing. They nocked out multiple disks from my spine including 2 in the necks. Fixed one disk by an average chiropractor and then fixed the rest by a really good chiropractor I waited a month to see. Who said: "You should not put more weight on your back than a 3 year old child". So definitely not going back to that place. On top of the bad service they insist on a minimum 20% tip for their services. read more

This place is the best of Naples. This time my experience was not as good as other times but it still wasn't terrible. She cut the 90 minute massage short by 4 minutes and her pace was a little frantic sand all over the place. I still enjoyed it though. For the money for what it is they need to do the full 90 and offer a little more in the way of quality. But again, I have been here before and had experiences that far surpassed this one so I'll be back! read more

If I could give my masseuse at this place zero stars I would. My massage was not worth the $100 dollars they charge. I get a better massage at the mall for $30. I get a better foot massage at the nail salon. This was not it at all. I am in pain after this massage but not the good kind of pain, if you know what I mean. My back is on fire from all the rubbing. This lady didn't know anything about pressure points. The whole massage I was thinking about getting up and walking out, my mistake I didnt. Then go to tell the owner when Im checking out, and she started blaming me about this kind of massage not being my style or me not being able to take the pressure. Which I definitely can and did mention during the massage that I wanted more strength. She had no strength in her hands. She was very strong and very skilled at getting deep into my knotted up and strained muscles in my back and neck. lily and june were amazing. we had an appointment at 3 today. we were running a few minutes late so we didn't get to start our massage until 3:10. that didn't stop them from our one hour massage. they still gave us the full 1 hour. the rooms are very peaceful and quiet. for the price, you can't beat it. (90$) i asked specifically for my shoulders and neck and i left feeling completely refreshed and like a new person. i can't wait to schedule my next appointment. thank you guys so much!! read more

Very nice calm setting, highly decorated in Asian style, but well done for that style. Horrible massage. I had reserved a deep-tissue massage and reminded this to the person who rushed me into a massage room. The "massage therapist" who worked on me was obviously not trained as she pulsed quickly deep into my muscles all over my body not doing anything to warm them up first or even work on them appropriately. Also as deep-tissue is: "the use slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle", she appeared to know none of this. It was painful and I mentioned this a few times, but within short order she was jabbing at my muscles again. I had to make her stop when she was pushing directly on my spine at my head. I think she actually injured me. I have been suffering especially since my visit three weeks ago. As it's hard to prove it occurred on the table I'm SOL - plus they never had me fill out or sign any papers there (odd for a legit establishment in my opinion) I thought she could understand my English but when she asked if I "walk-bike", I was at first pleasantly surprised she might know what an EliptiGo bike was as I ride one regularly. I didn't understand until she started standing on my hamstrings, that she meant she was announcing she was going to walk on my back!!! This is highly unprofessional and reckless. It wasn't until I got dressed that I looked up to see the parallel bars mounted to the ceiling above the table for her to keep her balance and hold on to. (I told her *no* very strongly once she stood on my hamstrings and she finally got off me and the table - this after she insisted that I 'try' it) Also odd, I was rushed into a room not even asked my name for the reservation. Also odd, was that the woman was not good to keep me covered and modest during this experience, the sheet moving too much exposing my back side and later completely exposing my breasts at one point and *I* had to pull it back up. I also had to insist to the woman manning the payment that my reserved appointment was for $70 - the price given to me the day before when I reserved. She finally allowed it. I don't appreciate that kind of business behavior at all trying to upcharge me - let alone the horrible massage! I am friends with a few massage therapists and I know their training is very very specific about keeping the client covered the whole time. I also get massage regularly and have never had such a horrible experience. I chose this place because at the time it listed #1 on yelp in Naples. There are other better places albeit a little more expensive. I do not recommend you go here at all. Dangerous. read more
