I was here Friday the 24 Aug and again on the 27 Aug. Both days I was 20 plus minutes late getting seen. Other than not being seen on time I love this place. It's good to have a vet that understands both the animal and the owner. I won't take my dogs anywhere Update. I had to take my put in for a spay last week. It'll set you back about 500 dollars but they did a really good job with it. The pup is about nine months and she's already doing a lot better. I'd take another dog back here again.

Although I took their information, I didn't think much about it until my 10-year-old Mastiff, Hagrid, was diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago. When we initially planned to have him put down, I intended to go with the traditional cremation option. However, I remembered Cholla and decided to cancel the cremation to give them a call. I can honestly say I am so grateful I found out about them. They were fantastic and offered the option of a sprinkling ceremony, which allowed us to place flowers and herbs on Hagrid before he began his journey. It was a beautiful experience that meant so much to my family and me. Additionally, Cholla collaborates with a shelter for older animals. When I dropped Hagrid off, I was able to donate some of his items, knowing they would go to a good cause. I miss my old man dearly, but I cannot express enough how thankful I am for Cholla Afterlife.

Dr Gordon helped us through the heartbreak as was the most kind person that you could ever have in this situation. She took our calls even on her off time to answer questions and guide us through the heartbreak. This was not our first loss as we have had many dogs over the years. But there is something special about Dr Gordon and her empathy and kindness she showed us. The entire staff here was very nice and we have to give them much credit as well. We waited an hour without being seen. Didn't even look at her eye to assess for urgency. They then took in a dog that walked in on a leash for "end of life". We left and went to VCA that took her in right away after seeing her and immediately gave her pain meds. I'm sad that I waited an hour while she was in such pain.
