We came here for a birthday celebration and took advantage of their special on the salt cave and foot soak. It was my first time doing a foot soak, and I was skeptical at first, but the readings were surprisingly accurate. You receive two readings--one at 15 minutes and another at 30 minutes. Typically, guests do the salt cave first, followed by the foot soak, but we did it in reverse. Our staff member, Stacy, was incredibly friendly and informative, thoroughly explaining the process and what the different colors in the readings meant for each of us. After the foot soak, the 45-minute salt cave session was the perfect way to relax. Noise-canceling headsets were available in case of snoring neighbors. They also have a charming gift shop with unique items to browse during your visit. Having been to other salt caves before, I really appreciated how this one took the time to explain the benefits throughout the experience. Tried this for a birthday spa day and will not come back. Staff - Sophia and Brooke were good but that's about the only positive. Salt cave didn't seem to blow salt throughout the room. The zero gravity chairs would not go back all the way. The noise cancelling headphones did not work at all, which I really wish they did as many of the people were snoring which was very distracting. The walls were thin and outside noises could also be heard. Some guests were late and interrupted the session. Afterwards we did the ion foot bath which consisted of warm water in a bowl on the floor but it sits there for 30min so the water gets cold. Then you are provided a scrub and a towel to clean your own feet off. Our shoes were in a locker elsewhere so afterwards we had to ask for shoe covers so we could walk from one area to the next without being on the floor. There was def a missed opportunity for them to upsell salt scrubs to wash our hands next and there wasn't any hand washing station after we had to clean our own feet other than going into the bathroom but by then I was more interested in getting my shoes on. The flow was just all wrong and not relaxing. The chairs for that were super low and uncomfortable to get in and out of. Not the best birthday. read more

I've been goong to this cave since start of 2014 and always loved it. It was a great part of my healing and recovery from cancer. Loved the whole meditative experience! And Karen was always exceptional. But in recent visits, I've struggled with 2 things... 1 - inconsistency of salt output (and I slways sit in same chair). Sometimes I can taste the salt, see it on my clothes and feel it all throughout...other times, not so much or at all. 2 - NOISY! While we remain quiet in the cave, staff has done nothing to monitor talking, laughing, etc of those getting foot soaks. It has often been beyond distracting - not relaxing at all. And headphones (that no longer play the music) do very little to help. Staff used to be so good about this...not anymore. read more

The Attendant turns the lights off and meditation music is flowing through the cave as little white lights twinkle in the ceiling.. For 45 minutes you lay quietly in your chair, covered in a blanket and go off into zen mode.. Very relaxing, soothing... A moment in your life where there are no phones, no people talking, no kids whining, no horns, no loud music, no nothing....... Just complete and utter peace. At the end of 45 minutes, the Attendant turns the lights up, opens the door and you leave.. throwing your disposable slippers away, and putting your blanket in a box.. I enjoyed it. I think it's a neat concept and it seems to be very popular.. Attendant told us that when allergies hit people hardest in Spring and Fall - colds spark up in winter... they are the busiest during these seasons.. Not so much in summer when we get ample Vitamin D to ward off colds....... It's a nice little luxury out of the norm. The place is clean, vibrant, cheerful. Not for kids. read more

I was a frequent customer since they opened, often buying ten sessions at a time as well as lamps and other doodads to help me breathe with asthma, allergies, and sarcoidosis and giving them as presents. I have gradually seen the quality go down. I have been to such places in several different areas and have noticed that they are using less and less humidity which cuts down on the cost of salt, but also the effectiveness of the treatment. Their groupon price is also higher than their normal price! Lately, I came in with $300 to spend for my birthday. I asked about a discount I had received in my e-mail. I wasn't sure whether it expired that day or the day before and hadn't been able to find it. I was told, none to politely, that it had expired. I said I wanted the detox as well as the salt cave and ten sessions in the salt cave. The person at the counter stopped listening to me after I mentioned the discount. She gestured at the person behind me and said, "I have to help her. She needs to get into the next salt cave session." "As do I," I said. "It's my birthday treat." "I'm waiting on her NOW. My mother-in-law felt this place was Really helping her arthritis. She had booked several appointments and felt the woman was rude to her. Long story short my mother-in-law is in her 70s and was finding great benefit in the treatments but the woman at the front was so rude and nasty to her. I have been to this location many times and have always enjoyed my experience. However, today was different, the other people in the cave session talked the entire time. I was unable to get the full relaxing session I have come to expect here. For future guests, once the door to the salt cave closes, there is no talking! Even with headphones you can still hear the talking. I told the staff, they just apologized.. but didn't say anything to them. Need to be more thorough with telling guests expectations about no talking during session. read more

Everyone in my session was situated inside within minutes, and we were able to relax for about 8 mins before the 45 min session actually started. It was hard to relax when the woman checking us in was beyond rude. There were a number of people waiting to use the only restroom before going into the room. The woman checking us in (we'll call her the host) literally yelled at all of us. I've never experienced such a high negative anxiety environment for a place that is meant to relax & rejuvenate you. After several visits to the salt cave, I had a particularly unpleasant visit. Over half of the people in the cave were just as dissatisfied. I approached the staff at the front counter and was instructed that I had to email the owner for any complaints. DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON. Worst customer service ever. At no point did I ever feel like a priority while here and I surely will not be back. During my last session, I was told that I only had a half session left on my card and that unfortunately.... Wait for it... "We don't provide a half session." Now mind you that standard sessions are One hour in length. Half of one hour is 30 minutes last time I checked. There was not a soul in the entire place yet the representative was unwilling to honor my measly 30 minute session that her company was obligated to fulfill per the offer guidelines (half of sessions = 1.5). And at that, the session costs them nothing, regardless of length. So instead of honoring my request for a measly 30min session instead I will NEVER be returning to this joint. And they have now not only lost my business but everyone in my entire social network. More importantly, I was never treated with respect or as though I was a priority, as is The industry standard for such a service. It's not surprising that there was no other customer in the entire place. Save yourself some money and go buy your own salt rock at the store! read more

A few words of wisdom when you visit: 1. Don't be late! You will have to put your stuff in a small locker when you arrive so travel light. Also, the cave is layered with salt so you will have to wear shoe covers. And then they give you a blanket, headphones, and a pillow. In order words, there is some prep time and I made the mistake of thinking I could walk in a few minutes before the session started and was rebuked and shamed! 2. The salt cave is not sound proof. They provide headphones so that you can drown out the excess sound, however, depending on how loud your fellow cave attendees are will determine the peacefulness of the experience. This one guy had a cough that continuously startled me awake and he even snored... loudly. Needless to say, it wasn't that peaceful. 3. Be ready to relax! If you are able to arrive at a reasonable time and get lucky not to have someone who may possibly have Ebola in the cave during your visit, then you are likely to take a relaxing nap and feel energized afterwards. I had done alot of research about salt caves before driving over 3 hours and was excited to check this one out because it was designed by Dr. Margaret Smiechowski who is suppose to be the expert on salt caves. The cave itself was nice and did make you feel like you were in a real cave. We really enjoyed the haylotherapy part of the experience which was another reason we wanted to try this particular salt cave. The down side was you could hear people talking outside the ENTIRE session. I tried to use the headphones but the sound quality was not all that. The bathroom is just on the other side of the wall and you could hear it flush which did not add to the experience. Did have a groupon however if I had paid full price I would have probably ask for a refund because of all the outside distraction. read more

Make sure you arrive on time on the hour or the staff will call you out on it in front of everyone even for 1-2 minutes late. Some staff members are not friendly. Normally you can taste salt on your lips and can feel it on your skin after your session. This time I sensed no salt being pumped into our session. Had trouble booking the reservation however, it was a wonderful experience once I got there. The cave is very peaceful and soothing. Twinkle lights glow on and off, there is soft music, and a fan circulates the air. It gets a little cold, so they provide a blanket and a warm salt pillow. A little noisy, but the headphones help. If you want to feel super relaxed and breathe better, this is the place for you. I have a lot of respiratory issues and have only had one session in the salt cave thus far, and I can already tell a huge improvement in my breathing, which feels like a miracle. The cave is cool and dark with soothing music playing throughout your session. The chairs are very comfortable even though they look like poolside chairs. Be sure to bring a jacket and use one of their provided blankets. I felt like I had a full body massage after the session, because my body was so relaxed. You will probably doze off for a few minutes. The air in the cave is so clean and pure; it was such a nice change from the hot, muggy air outside. I feel like I can breathe deeper after just one session. I definitely can feel the healing effects of the salt cave and cannot wait for my next session. The staff was very nice, and the shop had plenty of salty goodies including wonderful salt scrubs that you can try out in the restroom. Been 4 times in 2016 because I had a prepaid card. Big mistake! Started going in 2015, went several times and had great experiences so I purchased a prepaid card in December. I was there this past Saturday and the place was dirty, the zero gravity chairs are old and creaky and throughout 2016 it seems they stopped blowing any salt into the room. When I asked about it in January I was told it was due to humidity and the salt wouldn't blow in, this past week another customer was told it was due to humidity. Oh, when I was there on a 98 degree day, they had no air conditioning! In April I tried the Murfreesboro cave and while it was very clean and the equipment was well taken care of, they also did not seem to blow any salt into the room.
