Mon - Fri: 9:50 am - 8:00 pm Sat: 8:50 am - 4:00 pm Salt therapy has been used for more than 30 years in the Ukraine. Many Eastern European countries have been using this conventional therapy to treat many symptoms. The room is set up with salt walls and floors combined with the controlled temperature and humidity simulate that of the Ukraine salt caves which creates a hypo-bacterial and allergen-free air environment. As the salt is inhaled while sitting in the room it goes through the sinuses and respiratory tract absorbing moisture, cleaning and clearing mucus, while killing bacteria. Many studies have shown how successful this therapy is in helping relieve medical symptoms. These therapies can be used as a complimentary treatment or a sole treatment in some cases. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This evening, a friend and I went to the Serenity Salt Cave because she had purchased a daily coupon and asked me to come along with her. When you enter this cute little establishment, there are all kinds of Himalayan salt products.. Just before going into the cave, you remove your shoes and put on these little disposable slippers. The cave is cool, and they provide little blankets for you. You enter the cave and take an anti gravity chair, throw the blanket on yourself, close your eyes... The Attendant turns the lights off and meditation music is flowing through the cave as little white lights twinkle in the ceiling.. For 45 minutes you lay quietly in your chair, covered in a blanket and go off into zen mode.. Very relaxing, soothing... A moment in your life where there are no phones, no people talking, no kids whining, no horns, no loud music, no nothing....... Just complete and utter peace. At the end of 45 minutes, the Attendant turns the lights up, opens the door and you leave.. throwing your disposable slippers away, and putting your blanket in a box.. I enjoyed it. I think it's a neat concept and it seems to be very popular.. Attendant told us that when allergies hit people hardest in Spring and Fall - colds spark up in winter... they are the busiest during these seasons.. Not so much in summer when we get ample Vitamin D to ward off colds....... It's a nice little luxury out of the norm. The place is clean, vibrant, cheerful. Not for kids.

It was not my favorite experience. The staff was not very friendly and it did nothing for me. I would not go again.

My best friend and I tried this out last weekend and were very impressed. We will definitely make the drive to go back again. We love it.

SECOND THERAPY AT REST- Trigger point massage! WOW WOW WOW…read more I told my husband right after my visit that he NEEDS this, especially with running more lately and his lower back pain. She said this therapy calms the nervous system and I really felt that. I am so surprised more people aren't aware of the amazing therapies here!!! I'm slowly trying each one, and updating my review as I do. Make sure to see my previous review about the Salt Cave! I originally went in randomly today after seeing my chiropractor the second time this week and the chiropractor said trigger point massage would be a great idea because I think I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and it has been painful the past several days. This is my first time ever getting a trigger point massage and stretching etc. and it was well worth the $25. I might be back this week even!! She worked on full back (it felt like she was pressing in those spots until the muscle released) and some use of the therapy gun which was both ticklish and painful in a good way. Then I turned over and laid on my back while we did some deep stretches. So good! We finished working on my arm/shoulder that was causing me pain. She said it should clear up (and I should wait to work out again/using it until Thursday but if I was still feeling equal pain on Friday it's likely a muscle sprain? that I'd have to wait out to heal). It's been over 6 hours and throughout my day after this therapy, it's felt so much better. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you REST!!

I went in to use the Salt Cave for healing properties for my sinus infection. The staff were very…read morecourteous and friendly. However, what is offered is not a salt cave. A salt cave either has salt on the floor or uses halotherapy to mist salt in to the air. They do neither. They simply have salt bricks on the wall. By definition that is not a salt cave and offers no therapeutic properties. I did not realize there was no mister until after the fact. I am disappointed in the time and money I spent as I was expecting to feel better and that would only happen with an actual salt cave. If you want an actual salt cave experience go somewhere that offers salt on the floor, misting and books 60 minute sessions. That is a salt cave.

If you are trying to lose weight, I highly recommend White Oak Wellness! White Oak Wellness helped…read moreme (a post-menopausal woman) lose 27 pounds in 51 days with NO drugs, NO injections and NO exercise! I feel more confident and energetic without the extra pounds. The staff is supportive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The daily check-in via text helped me stay on track and helped answer any questions I had. The materials included are detailed and backed by scientific research. The program is tailored to each individual. There are no pre-packaged meals. However, you will not eat breakfast, but will enjoy one fruit, one vegetable and one serving of protein at both lunch and dinner time. You must not eat sugar or fats and alcohol consumption is very limited. But after you reach your goal weight, you can resume eating more normally, in moderation. I goofily chose to go on the program a few weeks prior to my birthday and two long-weekend trips, so I had to figure out how to navigate restaurants. White Oak gives you the information you need to do just that! It was not as challenging as I feared! Your progress is measured in multiple ways, including body fat percentage and hydration, so even when you might not have budged on the scale, you most likely have progress in at least one area, which I found motivating. The program is expensive, but to me, being healthy and more confident is worth every penny. I am delighted with the program and highly recommend White Oak Wellness!

I worked out 4-5 days a week, did weight training, cardio, hired a personal trainer and tried my best to eat well but I stayed stuck with very minimal progress. I lost 20 pounds and learned how to eat clean and make much better habits. My gut feels better than ever and since finishing the program I've been able to keep the weight off. I haven't even returned to the gym yet, but I can't wait to get active again and feel stronger than ever. The team at White Oak was kind and supportive every step of the way!
