If I am knowingly aware floating in treated water that other naked bodies are in rotation in and plus the built up grime on the interior walls, that didn't really give me a firm chance to be at ease during this experience. I feel that it is important to maintain a level of hygiene when experiencing this and though I felt hygiene was done right with the first part of the visit, being in the tank itself left me with a sickening feeling of disgust. Like I said, I am not unfamiliar to using spa treatments and things similar to this experience. It is simply a matter of cleanliness. What I can say about this experience once you get over the disgust is that I did feel relaxed and enjoyed the chance to remove my mind from all exteriors and simply relax. It was a great environment for the right purpose, but I did feel unsettled due to the constant feeling of being in a place that hadn't been cleaned properly from my point of view. I am purely going on first impression. As someone who has never done this before, no one wants to get into a tank and see reminiscence of God knows what on the walls and around the filters or jets. Would I give this another try? Yes, but only after I felt that the place had been properly sanitized in the tanks. The tub is huge, big enough for two. I loved the sea salt accompaniment and kept sprinkling them in like an Italian chef with pasta water. The sauna got a lil tight but if you Tetris it you can make it work. Or don't and just yell at each other to move over. You've got options. The shower amenities are lovely and the body oil after was divine and made me feel like a rich hippy woman from Seattle who presses her own lavender oil, which is not a alter ego I slip into often but thoroughly enjoyed for an evening. We left clean, relaxed, and didn't fight once the whole time. If you know us you know what a win that is! I definitely recommend this for any couple or non couple trying to have a lovely time and not be mad at each other. Or someone wanting a few hours of self care. Idk whoever you are and whether you go solo or with a partner you'll come out softer, smoother, and a happier individual, probably.

I've been coming to Framework for awhile and have a membership. Their motto is to sweat, shiver,…read moreand socialize. Every time you walk in, the staff are very friendly. They provide a towel that you can use during your time there. Membership Breakdown: Forge is $109/month which gets you four visits and one guest pass. Fuse is $179/month which gets you eight visits and three guest passes. Fortify is $249/month which is unlimited visits and six guest passes. If you just want to drop in as a non-member, it's $35/weekday and $55/weekend. There are three traditional saunas: Social, Silent, and Outdoor. Depending on my vibe, I usually go in the social one but this past week, several of my friends joined me and we used the social and the outdoor saunas. Most of the time, it's not overly crowded. For cold plunges, there are nine tubs that range in temperature from 38-60. There are five solo tubs and one group tub inside. There are three solo tubs outside. I love the cafe upstairs where you can grab a drink. The light is so great upstairs. They also have all their private rooms that have their own tub and sauna. I love my private sessions. I just wish there was a shower upstairs. Indoor showers and lockers are provided downstairs. It's so helpful if I need to be somewhere next and can go ahead and shower. I'm pumped that my membership gives me access to the East Nashville location. I am going to try it out and see what the difference is. During my first session, the power went out and the session just stopped. This is a sound therapy sessions that lasts 44 minutes and is supposed to help my mood, mindset, and nervous system. I didn't get much from the first time and willing to give it another go. When I go, I rinse off and head straight to cold plunge for a few minutes (1-5 is recommended). Then I go to the sauna anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Then, I cold plunge again for 3-5 minutes. Go back to the sauna for another 10-20 minutes and then end with a final cold plunge for 1-3 minutes. Everyone is different. Some people like to end on the sauna. There is not "right" way to do cold plunge and sauna. If you have questions, the staff are so helpful and will assist in any way. Parking: There are two free spots right off of 4th Avenue South right in front of their building. They also have a parking lot behind the building that is also free. You walk down the stairs to get into the building. You can also park next door but it's a Park Happy lot and not free. I love supporting locally owned businesses and recommend everyone giving it a try!
